Carlton Davis Skips Practice With A Sore Knee

November 12th, 2020

Cornerback Ryan Smith

Earlier this season, Bucco Bruce Arians praised Carlton Davis, the Bucs’ best cornerback, for playing through pain much better than he did last season.

That’s strong praise from an old school coach who expects guys to push through injuries if they’re cleared to play.

Today, Davis was held out of practice with a sore knee, so Joe has to assume it was pretty darn sore. Davis has battled through all kinds of injuries this season, and he did practice on Wednesday.

Joe will keep fingers and toes crossed tonight and hope Act IV of the Ryan Smith Experienced never takes the stage.

Lol Ryan Smith experience. Hold on to your D’S everybody. But – if we are as deep of a team as we like to “think” we are, we should beat an inferior opponent. 95% of our roster is healthy, no excuses. If we lose this game with the rams and chiefs coming up – hooo boy. MUST WIN

I’d put Ross Cockrell in over Smith, he played for Carolina at one time and would surely like some revenge on his old team. He might even “eat a W” after the game. 🙄

Lord God why have forsaken us like this 😩

Please, no Ryan “Dear in The Headlights“ Smith. Remember the Monday night game n what Peyton Manning did to Tim Wansley after he replaced Brian Kelly at cornerback.

Relax guys, he just resting his knee and will play.
