A Buccaneers receiver is on pace for 1,000 receiving yards and leads the team in that department.

And he weighs about 172 pounds and isn’t named Godwin or Evans.

Little Scotty Miller, the Bucs’ sixth-round pick last year, had a huge game today and now has 15 catches for 250 yards through four games. Joe has referred to Miller as Tom Brady’s new BFF, and who could argue with that?

Miller makes tough catches seemingly every week, and even more impressive is that Miller today played through hip/groin issues that he battled all last week. He thanked the training camp earnestly following today big win against the Chargers for getting him ready to play.

Joe is impressed. What a massive leap Miller has made from a rookie who couldn’t stay healthy in the summer of 2019 and who looked overwhelmed through half of last season.

Keep it up, Scotty!

Scooter is really coming into his own. Jameis couldn’t connect with him due to his poor accuracy.

    Go Scooter Go!!!

  3. Godlovesbucs Says:

Legitimate chance that there are 3 wr with 1000 yards. Even with their injuries, Godwin is on pace for 1001 yards and evans for 920. I would expect as they get healthy those will continue to go up, and as they get theirs it will only allow more space for scottie miller to operate.

Arians era is reminding us of winning with good coaching and talented players.

    It’s a new Buc Life!!!

  6. adam from ny Says:

    lol perriman shoulda stuck around

  7. TheBradyBunch Says:

Yeah guys like Walter love taking shots at JW. Perriman got paid because of JW. Evans is on a hall of fame trajectory in no small part due to JW. But yeah everybody on this site despises the guy who for five years showed up first one into OneBuc each day and gave it all he had. While the results may not have shown up in the win column the way we had hoped, he did have a historically bad defense and no running game to help him out like we do now. I can only assume that most of you guys that constantly bash on him are UF fanboys. It is weird all the hatred thrown his way. While I am loving the ride right now, I honestly hope the best for JW and appreciate the effort he gave while in Tampa.

  8. brooks55hof Says:

Scotty Miller = the new Wes Welker.

Did that game give us a scare??

    WOW

  9. Rico 210 Says:

@bradybunch I hear ya. I don’t watch college sports, any. I could care less who plays for the Bucs. I’m a fan of the team ALL DAY. No one player makes a team. If you play for the Bucs then I love ya, if not then be gone. It’s about the Bucs… Right?
Can we focus on the positive that is a win today? Good day to you
    Go Bucs

  10. Brandon Says:

STFU with the Welker comparisons. They’re both white. Get over it with your lazy comparison. Their games are not close to being similar. Some of you are so stupid.

Please! Evans made Johnny famous, then he surpassed 1000 yards with Glennon throwing to him… He makes all QB’s look good!

  12. Greg Says:

@ Brady bunch No your bash on ” uf fan boys” is off base and your bias shows. True fans want the best for the Bucs and unfortunately JW had his opportunity regardless of what his college team was!

  13. tampabaybucfan Says:

    Brady likes Scotty……Scotty likes Brady…..TBBF likes Giselle….

  14. Wesley Says:

    So weird.

  15. bojim Says:

Bradybunch. He’s not here anymore. YOU MIGHT THINK ABOUT GIVING IT UP.

  16. Rod Munch Says:

Both of Brady’s pick 6s have been passes to Justin Watson.

Hint: Don’t pass to Justin Watson. I stand by what I’ve said all year, Justin Watson is the Ryan Smith of the offense. Nothing good happens when the ball is around him.

  17. Alvin Scissors Harper Says:

Jay Miss is gonna be the best clipboard holder NOLA has ever seen. Once they don’t resign him for 1M, he’ll be a great clipboard holder somewhere else.

  18. JustMyMobileOpinions Says:

    Possible tag lines…

    Beam me up Scotty!

    It’s Miller Time!!

    Are you into S&M?

  19. Rod Munch Says:

Brady has 5 TDs, a 17 point come from behind win, and the dopes are bashing Winston. Talk about your psycho ex.

  20. TheBradyBunch Says:

Greg I have no bias. I am a UCF alum but once a player becomes a Buc I hope he succeeds and could give zero f’s where he went to school. I liked Jameis and hoped he would succeed as a Buc. It didn’t work out the way I hoped, but I simply don’t hate the guy like so many of you posters do.

  21. 123urout Says:

Brady likes Scotty Miller. He reminds him of his bff Julian Edellman. Small but tough.

  22. David Says:

ME Will be over 1000 again.
Really hope Godwin, Fournette, and ME get healthy!

I just heard OJ tore his Achilles is gone for the year

  23. 813bucboi Says:

    Bradybunch

Go cry a JW river somewhere else….

    JW is a BUST…..

you FSU clowns love bringing up VHG who was trash for the Bucs….

    JW is a sorry qb….get over it….

    GO BUCS

  24. David Says:

JW was great, but he was not accurate. He does not hit receivers in stride. And he had the most turnovers in the NFL during his time starting here. By far!

So they moved on to the old man for a couple years before getting a new QB. Bowling for the Super Bowl.
I hope JW does great eventually, not in New Orleans though!

All that said, to say JW helped to make Mike Evans is a joke.
Mike Evans made the joke that is Johnny football and helped make JW look a whole hell of a lot better.
It’s not a knock on JW, it’s just a fact.
He is a Hall of Fame receiver no matter who is throwing to him – JW or Brady or Glennon or Johnny Nerfball

  25. David Says:

It is not that Miller is another small white guy that Brady likes. That’s ridiculous. Brady, and most offenses, like having a good quick, shifty slot receiver. With dominant receivers on the outside and a good TE, the slot receiver can get great matchups against linebackers or slower safeties who are playing 10 yards deep.

  26. ElioT Says:

Jamieis was and still probably is one of the greatest improvisers at the QB position that we’ve ever seen in Tampa, or perhaps the NFL in general.

All the BS aside, we were lucky to have him vs what else was available (see Mariota, Wentz, Goff, Cousins, etc…)

An NFL QB has (IMO) the toughest, most scrutinized job in all of pro sports.

The key factor with great QBs is that they are methodical.

Brady is a pre-snap methodical QB and cannot rely on improv, he’s proven this time and time again and we’re lucky to have him for as long as he can play at this level.

    3-1 feels different.

    3-1 feels great!

    Go Bucs!!!

  27. ElioT Says:

Cerebral QBs like Brady will throw to the towel boy if they’re eligible and open.

Brady isn’t immune to mistakes, and will throw the ball away if no one is there.

  28. lambchop Says:

Jenna Laine is in Tom’s doghouse. Anyone else hear the question she asked him after a victory? She got the Belicheat terse answer with a smirk. You know he wants to tell her why don’t you stfu! Execute. Just gotta execute. That was all he responded with.

    LOL. I love it.

  29. Jason Mclaurin Says:

I think they should get Hump back at the trade deadline and restructure his contract. He and Miller would look great with Brady. We need someone else that can take pressure off Godwin across the middle. Howard is gone so I feel this is Brate moment to become a legend forever. He will fill the role better than OJ did. I think he and Gronk will work well together. Auclair will continue the great blocking I feel but we won’t see Hudson unless Brate goes down or is traded due to performance. The future of the TE position looks to be in Gronk for now. Gronk and Brate. How should get his 5th year which if I remember they decided to decline that. Maybe wrong that decision was during the original breakout.

  30. TheBradyBunch Says:

David, he also got Hump paid, Brate paid, and Perriman paid. While he has his negatives, he has plenty of positives too.

  31. Buczilla Says:

Brady makes the players around him better. We haven’t had that in a qb before.

  32. TomTerrific Says:

Brady equals victory. Jamoist equals failure. I’m glad ownership finally woke up to reality.

  33. Miller5252 Says:

@lambchop I saw the same thing when she asked her question to Brady….. one word answer. I’m surprised she’s getting that response since every questions she asks everyone else is a Brady question. Vita, can you tell me when Brady takes a $h_t how it makes you to be a better player on the field?

  34. Anonymous Says:

Today after Mr. Pick6 .250 threw that pick-6, I saw him come back in the game with a new found demeaned which said “This is where we fight, this is where they die!!!

  35. Sorryjackchuckiesback Says:

He NEVER looked overwhelmed!! His QB did!!!! He was always open just a small Target the touchy rapey guy couldn’t pass accurately too!!

  36. BillyBucFan Says:

JW couldn’t throw a screen pass to Kareem Abdul Jabar without a trampoline.

    Footwork is terrible.
    Not smart enough.
    Horrible accuracy.

Now he is a backup on another team.
    Good Riddance!!!!

Bucs have the 1st 3-1 record since we drafted JW.
43 year old is better and yet fans still talking about the Eating Ws clown.

  37. adam from ny Says:

scotty is often seen lamping at the jeter compound with gronk and brady…
