Packers May Be Down A Corner

October 16th, 2020

Packers CB Kevin King.

It seems (finally) things may be turning the Bucs’ way for a change.

Bucs coach Bucco Bruce Arians has said no one is ruled out for Sunday’s game with the Packers at the Den of Depression. At least, not ruled out today. Some will be game-time decisions.

The Bucs hope to get receiver Chris Godwin back. He hasn’t played since blowing a hamstring at Denver. Well, the guy he would likely face on the other side of the ball, Packers corner Kevin King, is also a game-time decision reports Rob Demovsky of ESPN.

King, a very underrated corner from Washington, would be a huge loss for the Packers but Joe is of the mind it would be a big thing for the Bucs and likely Godwin, too.

Here we go again, laying our odds of success against who’s in and out of the opponents lineup. We need to just line up and play ball. If we’re a playoff contender, it shouldn’t be because we got lucky with injuries on the opponents side of the ball. Even if Aaron Rodgers gets hurt, there’s no guarantee we win the ball game. We’ve had backups and rookies rip us apart in the past. So bottom line, let’s hope the opponents are at full strength and see how we stack up against them and stop hoping that key players on the other side will be out.

    Hey JOE!!

Who is the Bucs QB on Sunday?

  5. Erick Says:

Never mind the Packers cornerbacks, I’m hoping what we saw last week with Bucs corners lining up 15 yards off receivers was a mirage. Rodgers is gonna have a field day if that’s the case.
