Playing With Fire

This Bucs offense might just be made for Tom Brady.

Now last summer Bucs fans heard from many that Bucco Bruce Arians’ offense might just be perfect for the gunslinger that was Mr. Entertainment, America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston. Some 5,000 passing yards later, that assessment was hard to argue with.

But in researching park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring Bucs quarterback Tom Brady, it seems it is Brady who may be the perfect fit.

Andrew Holman, the Bucs’ communications coordinator, dug up relevant numbers tied to how Brady should blow up with the his new receivers.

Last year after Brady threw a pick-six to seal a stunning home loss to the Titans in the playoffs, the narrative about Brady was that Father Time had caught up with him — that not only had he lost his deep ball but some zip on his fastball, too.

Well, it sure seems the table is set for Brady to show the football world how wrong that line of thinking is.

If Brady can find his fastball (if you believe he lost it previously), this Bucs offense could be frighteningly good.

The TABLE IS SET! No excuses!

I said it before, I’ll say it again…
Brady CHOSE us because of the offensive scheme as much as the talent/targets he would have at his disposal.
He wants to show what every quarterback wants to show.
    He can sling the ball!
The (St Lois) Rams had the “Greatest show on turf”
We now have “The Perfect Storm”!
    Batten down the hatches!

Frightening most likely is spot on. The only things stopping “the greatest show on the Florida Surf” is injuries or Covid. There is not a Defense on the planet that is going stop this offense. Go Bucs!!

  5. BucEmUp Says:

It will be interesting to see how many balls are dropped from Brady vs. Winston

  6. Roy T. Buford Says:

See, Tom Brady throws a pick six that costs the game and it gets a lot of attention because it is just so darn rare for him. Even his most avid fans wonder “What’s wrong with Tom?”

Winston throws 3-5 picks in a game, and even a pick six to seal the Bucs loss. Sportscasters lament the “again” this week, while Winston’s avid fans will say:

“Yeah, but he threw for 400 yards.”
“Yeah, but Gay missed a kick.”
“Yeah, but they have no running game.”
“Yeah, but D. Smith sacked him.”
“Yeah, but the O line stinks.”
“Yeah, but the receiver ran the route wrong.”
    “Yeah, but Evans is hurt.”
    “Yeah, but Winston is hurt.”
“Yeah, but Arians isn’t the right coach.”

As Winston says “I’m ballin’. Check your sheet.”

Ah, so nice to have a real QB for a change with a united fan base* behind him.

  7. Roy T. Buford Says:

@gp….I like the “Perfect Storm.” You should make up a logo and sell it to the Bucs!

  8. Roy T. Buford Says:

@BucEmUp, I’d bet a dropped ball from Brady is really a dropped ball, not a gallant attempt to snatch a wild throw out of the clouds that falls short!

I’d bet also, you drop too many balls from Brady, and you may not be getting many chances from him to do again!

  9. Ndog Says:

I think it is funny how you guys really believe this guy can do no wrong. You clearly haven’t watched him play before, some of you are in for a rude awaking when he doesn’t solve every issue this team has and when he simply can’t do what is precessor could while under constant duress.

I also think it’s cute someone thinks this fan base isn’t divided now more than ever. That’s a good one.

  10. Mike Says:

Yeah you and your cult friends, then the rest of us. For once you are right n pup

  11. Ndog Says:

No cult, it’s actually the opposite as we haven’t been brainwashed into ignoring everything that went last year (plus the previous 4) and trying to pin it on one person.

If this doesn’t go as well as they expect watch how fast these people will turn on this franchise. They will go from unpopular to over the top popular to basically non-existent.

And for the record that is exactly what they deserve for the way they carried themselves.

  12. Dangeruss Says:

TB12 is not going to bring world peace. I believe he is going to bring leadership & accountability to the Bucs for the first time in decades. Tom does not play alone! We have a great defense & players surrounding Tom on offense that if given an opportunity could be special! Just give him a chance & 2020 could be special!! In TB12 I trust!!

  13. Jmarkbuc Says:

Funny to hear Ndog talk about people saying a QB can do no wrong….

  14. Cobraboy Says:

No, little Npup. The fan base is NOT divided.

In fact the Fan Base of Real Buc Fans is fullt united behind the GOAT. The last time I saw the Buccaneer Fan Base this united was the Super Bowl team and the following season.

It is you, a casual Jameis Christ jock sniffer, who is butthurt. You are no Bucs fan.

  15. 813bucboi Says:

    ndog yapping again!!!!….lol…

    GO BUCS!!!!

  16. Youngbucs Says:

Ndog if you find that funny I find it literally insane. That you think winston does no wrong double standard 🤔

  17. Ndog Says:

Please someone find where I said Jameis did no wrong. I find it interesting that people that think they are correct or winning a debate are the one that flat out lies about the other side. If they were actually correct couldn’t they just use the truth?

I think might tell us all who is actually correct. 🤔

  18. Bucsfan951 Says:

I thank god the trash has been taken out (Winston). No more eating his fingers. No more stupid pre game speeches.

NPUPPY, let’s play a game named Your Favorite JW Quote:

“Being a quarterback, you have to be a student of the game, so now I actually get a chance to dive into that more. I actually have a Hall of Fame quarterback that I’m learning from opposed to trying to learn by myself, or use Google.”

“We all know what we’ve got to fix. There’s no reason for me to be specific. You look at my numbers and I’m ballin’. I’ve got to stop giving the ball to the other team. That’s not a trick question.”

I want to let you all know, I know I’ve made mistakes, I know I have a past, but right now it’s about me moving forward and earning the trust of all these 32 teams out there.

This is not no competition just between me and Mariota. Because one thing about me, I plan on winning the Super Bowls in the next year, so it’s going to be Jameis versus Peyton Manning and Jameis versus Tom Brady. I want to be viewed like that. After all this combine stuff, you’re not going to hear no more about Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota. But I want my name to stay relevant for the next 15 to 20 years of my career.

NDOG…..bruh…I thought we talked about this. I know you love Winston but just try to enjoy this ride

  20. Ndog Says:

Buc15 I appreciate you being civil, but to be honest I am not even a little excited about this season. Simply put everything that happened is not right and Brady will never be a true Buccaneer, and people think the media is here to cover the Bucs no sir they are here to cover Brady. All this talk about changing the culture for the long haul is ridiculous, this guy is here cause he knows he needs teammates to carry him and this is the only place that had enough weapons to keep from looking as washed up as he is. Then he went out and begged Gronk to come back just to make sure he had his security blanket, If he really wanted to be great he would stayed in NE and helped the young players grow, but oh yeah I forgot the greatest coach to ever live didn’t want him anymore. That should make us all feel great…

This guy is 100% about himself so he is a great partner for Arains who is exactly the same way. Two egomaniacs ruining my team together!!!!

  21. Buczilla Says:

Tecmo Bowl numbers for Mike and Godwin will be considered a top 10 receiver at this time next year even on silly a$$ lists like Chris Simm’s this year. You have to try really hard and nearly warp the fabric of reality to have a worse top 10 receiver list than Ira, but Simms managed to accomplish the seemingly impossible. Lay off the weed bro, or maybe smoke more? 😛

  22. Tampabuscsbro Says:

LOL Npuppy keep going. Clowns are funny they are supposed to make people laugh.

  23. jerk04 Says:

Pup will you go away. YOu are so predictable its hilarious. I can count out seeing a post from you on any article Brady related with the same tired out lines as well as i can count on Winston to throw an interception

Haul ass and stop with the real fan stuff. You’re a winston mark that’s all you are. Haul ass little pup. Let the adults talk.

  24. Ndog Says:

Why do you want me to go away? You scared I’m telling you the truth and your propoganda machine might be lying to you?

  25. jerk04 Says:

At least the other Winston lover, BigHog, is occasionally funny with his takes. You just sound like a butthurt crybaby every single time you post. People arent nice to winston, brady isnt good WAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH

  26. bucsfan951 Says:

i think i figured out winstons problem… he was using google when he should have been using yahoo. Problem solved!

  27. 74 Bucs Fan Says:

padded walls Ndog, padded walls. You’ll be alright in time.

Compliment JW and bad-mouthing the GOAT in an attempt to be funny?

Pathetic, amateurish and childish. Waste of key strokes. Grow up
