Players Vote Three Buccaneers Into 30s Group Of NFL Network Top-100 Players

Still drinking Cam Newton’s Gatorade

Players vote on their top-100 players in the league, and the key results get spit out every summer on NFL Network.

Mike Evans once ranked as high as No. 29 following the 2016 season, when he was dominant without an array of weapons around him. Last night, Evans checked in at No. 30 overall.

Shaq Barrett made his debut on the on the Top-100 list at No. 32, and Chris Godwin was a first-timer at No. 38. Over the weekend, Lavonte David checked in at No. 100.

No surprise, Tom Brady led the Bucs at No. 14. Drew Brees took the No. 12 spot. Joe enjoyed seeing Brady screaming at his teammates in his NFL Network segment. “Gotta lock in now. Laser focus!”

Ultimately meaningless, but still very fun to read. GO BUCS!!

  2. AlabamaBucsFan Says:

Stat keepers got to keep their integrity intact. The Bucs are prime to be a top 10 team and to have only have a few player in the top 100 would not make them look good. Kinda like how the political polls tighten up the week prior to the elections.

  3. Bucsfanman Says:

Agreed Alan. Still good to be recognized, and deservedly so. There are few WRs I would rather have than Mike and Chris.

  4. DanBucsFan Says:

I thought JPP was gonna be in because he is respected but guess I was wrong

  5. Clean House Says:

I think it’s rather strange and interesting, that as good as many say he is including myself, Lavonte’s peers are not voting for him or appreciating him.
What gives? They must know! They play against him.
But then again JW lit up the whole league in total offense and wouldn’t sniff this list which is absurd. Even with his pics- he shredded the whole NFL. No way around the numbers. League of followers and lemmings and buffoon millionaires playing their Madden video games in sandals.
    Check yo sheets

Wiith their Nike slippers in front of the big screen, tweeting and watching Steven A and Max Kellerman

  7. Clean House Says:

That’s where they form their decisions, from the crowd and tv- just like most of you Joe Bucs Fan posters

  8. Youngbucs Says:

Mad their messiah not on the list 😭😭😭😭😭😭

  9. Ndog Says:

Clean House NO ONE tells the truth as they just go with the masses and that is exactly why certain players don’t get what they deserve. The FACTS are people in the league are more concerned with people’s opinion of them more than they are winning.

The Bucs are the prime example of that.

  10. Ndog Says:

For example, take the Bucs out of it, does anyone in their right my nd think any of these guys below are better than Matt Stafford?

    Really!?!?!?!?

    Kyler Murray (90)
    Josh Allen (87)
    Ryan Tannehill (68)
    Kirk Cousins (58)
    Dak Prescott (46)
    Jimmy Garoppolo (43)

Of course not, but they are the trendy pick cause they get all the air time and love from the talking heads. This is why sports is dying for me, it’s become style over substance and of course my team is the biggest bunch of attention mongers on the planet this why they made the ridiculous moves they made this off-season.

You who doesn’t do things like the Bucs did this year. The Ravens, the Steelers, the Patriots, the Chiefs, the Saints, the Eagles you know the teams that are in it EVERY year. The have a plan and stick to it while our morons throw darts every year and hope they stick.

  11. Youngbucs Says:

    😭😭😭😭😭😭

  12. SufferingSince76 Says:

Clean House, Ndog: waaah, waaah, waaah.

  13. Tampabuscsbro Says:

So is there any reason why no one signed this messiah QB you keep spouting off about?

  14. Buc50 Says:

@Ndog Stafford is definitely better than all those guys.

  15. gp Says:

Like the pro bowl, little more than a popularity contest

  16. SOEbuc Says:

Yeah who gives a funk. Evans always shafted out of top three by Michael Thomas. Thomas has been with future HOF brees his entire career. Evans is tied with Moss for what we all know playing on bottom of the barrel teams his entire career.

  17. Buczilla Says:

Until we start winning, we will always get screwed over on these meaningless lists. David at 100 and Evans not being the top receiver is all I need to know as far as the worth of this list. Garbage.
