Tom Brady And Freedom

Fourth-quarter feedback

There is no question that one reason Tom Brady signed with Tampa Bay as a free agent was because of Bucco Bruce Arians.

Some speculate one reason Brady left the Belicheats is he began to chafe because of Bill Belicheat’s suffocating ways.

To hear the speculators, Brady wanted to relax and have fun and breathe. Now this is strictly speculation; Belicheat will never cop to this. Brady is unlikely to ever publicly admit this.

Buried in a story trying to connect the dots of how Arians can motivate Brady, Jenna Laine of ESPN seems to think Arians will pretty much turn the offense over to Brady in the fourth quarter, given Brady’s knack for fourth-quarter comebacks.

… … In the case of Brady, though, whose 36 fourth-quarter comebacks are second-most in NFL history (behind another Arians protégé, Peyton Manning, with 43), there will likely be more freedom. Brady knows how to seal the deal.

“Byron and B.A. will be extremely receptive to Tom. When I played for both of them, they did so many things to make whichever QB that was playing comfortable,” said Drew Stanton, who played for Arians when he was with the Indianapolis Colts in 2012 and then with the Arizona Cardinals from 2013-17.

When asked how many coaches he has been around who allow the quarterback to have this level of freedom, Stanton said, “Not many. [Arians] gives you a lot of liberties, which builds confidence in the system. … B.A. gives his quarterbacks a lot of leeway and gives them ownership within the principles of his offense. It’s going to be exciting to watch [Brady].”

As well-prepared and experienced as Brady is, he likely will know exactly what defenses are preparing to do and who is able to cover whom. Brady will also know what he can and cannot do. Remember, he’s a graybeard by NFL standards.

So this would be smart on Arians’ part. Let the wizard work his magic. No need to try to steal his magic wand.

    I think there were some
recent Manning comments calling BS on his so called BS mentorship plan.
Don’t think Manning appreciates BS riding his coattails. Say BS can take credit for the most INTs he ever threw in his career. Sound familiar?!?

JW Last seasons NFL passing leader
The whisperer is full of it and Peyton says so-
    Look it up

  2. adam from ny Says:

can we please have zero guys on the team with dyed red hair…

mccoy and kwon are gone…let it go

    no more red hair…

let’s go with a “dusty pewter grey” color instead to match their third jersey…

    can ya hear me rojo?

  3. Clean House Says:

Found it- from a radio interview in Denver….Manning says:

“Arians was my coach when I threw those 28 interceptions as a rookie. He didn’t put that in his book, I don’t think, as the QB Whisperer, but he was my coach. To me, he’s got to be a part of those 28 picks. It can’t all just be me.”

Hopefully JW will get another chance to play and show the people what’s up-
    Check your sheet is right

Phony Arians house of BS will show itself

  4. El Buco Realisto Says:

Ole stale biscuit has relinquished more than just the 4th quarter!!!!!!!!!! “Word on the street is” that Ole stale biscuit has fully checked out!!!!!!!!! And Brady signing with Tampa had nothing to do with bruce Arrogance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Brady had only Tampa and another team that showed mild interest!!!!!!!!!!! And Brady picked Tampa so he could put up monster passing yards to try and pass Brees as the NFL All time passing leader!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ole stale biscuit reputation is not what the local media thinks it is!!!!!!!!!!!!! And speaking of freedom!!!!!!!!! The “Real” fans can not wait until licht bulb and ole stale biscuit get their freedom next offseason, after this failed season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    go bucs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. Clean House Says:

Maybe in his next book he can take credit for Brady too

  6. Clean House Says:

    Agreed!

  7. Clean House Says:

Real fan here- started attending games in 86.
Team just discarded a true franchise QB and it’s a disgrace-
Licht and BS looking out for themselves only.
Patriot sunset tour going to backfire badly.

  8. Tampabaybucfan Says:

If our Defense can improve (especially the secondary) and we don’t turn the ball over as much, perhaps we won’t be playing from behind in the 4th quarter as much.

  9. Formerly Tampa 2 Says:

Wow, 2 Buc haters having a private conversation on JBF. I guess that we fans have to just give up now. After all, the season is over before it even begins. Why don’t you 2 go be fans on a Saints site.

  10. Stanglassman Says:

I feel the same way. Trying to lay all the blame on Jameis was not cool. Moving on from him for Brady is risky and short sited. For as much as BA claims to be looking to build his coaching staff up to become head coaches he seems to be looking at a short timeline that just happens to coincide with his retirement.
But it is what it is I’m a Bucs fan. I am all in now hoping this plan wins a super bowl.

  11. Bucsfanman Says:

We’re about to start a new season with one of the best QBs of all time at the helm, along with one of the best TEs in the league, and all you crybabies can talk about is a division rival’s backup QB.
It shows that you’re not Buc fans.
Face the facts, the previous QB couldn’t handle it.
The team, the real fans, are moving on.

  12. mark2001 Says:

Clean House… Jameis has been showing what is up with him for years, on and off the field, under multiple HC’s. But seems like some are blind to whats up with him, and see him as the next great QB. Sorry man…he doesn’t have it between the ears…to make good decisions and react quickly enough to avoid huge problems on the field.

  13. Youngbucs Says:

Clean House you lose all credibility. When you say “real fan here” give it a rest ndog we don’t care.

  14. DBS Says:

Still crying his love child is gone. He was too. Quit the team and all but returned. Found out Saints fans don’t even talk about JW being the savior of the Saints so he came back here to try and stir up 100 comments .

  15. Tampabuscsbro Says:

THE JAMEIS FANS NEED TO LEAVE.

If you are this ass hurt he is gone to the point you have to complain about every aspect of the team you aren’t buccaneers fans you are Winston fans.

Ndog probably came back and changed his name when he realized no saints fans give a damn about him.

  16. Bird Says:

    Youngbucs

    😂

    Thats hilarious

  17. Buc1987 Says:

I think Clean House needs to find another team.

  18. Alvin Scissors Harper Says:

Yup Clean House, Jay Miss is a “true franchise QB.” It’s just that the 32 franchises in the NFL don’t know it.

  19. El Buco Realisto Says:

Seems like Clean House has more passion for the team then others posting here!!!!!!!!! Shame on other trying to belittle him for having a desire for a better team!!!!!!!! The “real” fans are standing up and applauding Mr. Clean House for voicing the weakness and not tolerating mediocrity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seems like Mr Clean House is a “true” fan and not just another “cheerleader” on here parroting whatever narrative is feed to them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

go bucs!!!!!!!!!! And Go Mr. Clean House!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  20. stpetebucsfan Says:

    Is Clean House NDOG?

  21. El Buco Realisto Is a Dicko Says:

Ladies and gentlemen, I introduce our Tiny Brain Trio – Unclean Hut, Kobe Fart, and El Buco Dicko. Please take a bow little ones and GTF outta town.

  22. Joe in Michigan Says:

I see the troll Bucs bashers have banded together. I wonder, did they meet at a Troll Pride meeting?

  23. DBS Says:

    Clean House
your are Jameis fan. April 29,2020 at 2:26 AM You switched to the Saints. You quit this team.

  24. Stanglassman Says:

If you like Doug Williams your a Redskins fan? If you question getting rid of John Lynch or Warren Sapp you’re a Broncos and Raiders fan. Come on that’s ridiculous. Part of being a fan of a team is anticipating, questioning roster moves. You can’t just turn off your loyalties to a player the day after they get released. Questioning it, wishing the player the best is part of being a good fan. What’s not is trashing the guy especially with subtle racist remarks and questioning others loyalty who choose not move on in without question, lock step. To me that’s not only being a bad fan it’s being unAmerican.

  25. WillieG Says:

It will be so nice having a QB who can take advantage of situations and opposing players. My Dad and I used to get so frustrated when a starting DB was injured yet the Bucs didn’t take advantage of the situation. It seemed like none of our recent QBs or coaches wanted to embarrass the opposition

  26. ir8oldman Says:

Jameis was released, he is now the backup to the backup QB for a Division Rival. You can be upset, but you have to freaking move on already. The Bucs didn’t release him, his contract finished. TB12 sitting there in free agency, and you’re saying that you wouldn’t try to get that? Move on, or forever be obsessed with sheep, sheep containers, and exclamation points… (!!!!!)

  27. Clean House Says:

#1 Sorry to disappoint, but I am not NDog. Imagine that, there are others who believe in JW’s obvious through the roof talents, and like his heart and passion and what he brings to the table.

I actually got a kick out of him eating W’s. I thought it was a youthful enthusiasm and quite refreshing. All of the media hater fickle has beens, Teddy Bruschi , Steve Smith Sr., Tony Gonzalez etc. we’re all so offended by a young kid getting carried away with excitement. Then the rest of the lemmings had a field day with it. Great press cycle for the talking heads. I also loved when he went after Latimore on the Saints. I loved when he blocked downfield, I loved when he got in Jensen’s face on the sideline. I loved when he lied the league in passing and lit up the Rams and the Lions. He is not 33rd. It’s a disgrace and rather ridiculous and I’m sick and tired of this group think NFL driven by the media gatekeepers who sign off on Captain Propoganda on his golf cart. It’s disgusting

Question- so all of the other qbs get a pass on year one interceptions of this moronic offense with no running backs? Or is it just bad timing that JW doesn’t fit with the current retirement window of this lazy blowhard. The Gm is a stooge and is clearly more concerned with salvaging his own career than anything else. Patriots winning the press cycle and off-season should buy him some time.

    2. I appreciate the The Bucs Realist seeing and commenting on the truth about my true colors as a fan. I appreciate Stanglassman’s true assessment about wishing players well and being allowed to not like personnel decisions. I thought they were fools with Lynch and I thought it was an utter disgrace the way they did Brooks. Disgusting.

    3. I will root for the Bucs overall as a I have been since 86 (Its a tough habit to drop). I don’t like the GM or the coach- I think they’re phony opportunistic backstabbers. I’d love to be wrong but I don’t think I am.

And you better believe that if it came down to it and the Bucs play the Saints.
If somehow JW gets to start, I hope he drops 50 points 500 yards on Tom Brady’s BS and Licht’s Bucs, You better believe it. Nothing would tickle me more….And you better believe I’ll be saying check yo sheet, followers.

  28. Stanglassman Says:

    Preach it Clean house.

  29. Jeffbuc Says:

Clean house I’m glad your so great at evaluating talent. But 32 teams with about 50 on each team in scouting and evaluating disagree with your true franchise quarterback. So everyone one who has a front office job in the nfl disagrees with. He if is a tru franchise qb why did he only get a 1 million dollar one year deal to be a third string QB. If he was as great as you say he is why would the bears trade a draft pick and spend 20 million on foles when they could have just signed Winston for 2 million and kept there draft pick. If he was a true franchise quarterback he would have a starting job right now making 25 plus million. So in all your ranting of how we let him get away can you please explain to me why he is a third string qb. Please don’t say it is so he can stick it to the bucs. Being a third string qb on a division rival isn’t sticking it to us. If he wanted to stick it to us he would have went to Carolina to be there starter for 2 million a year. Oh wait they would rather give Teddy Bridgewater 22 million a year to be there starter than even 5 million to jameis. So please tell us all what all nfl teams are not seeing that you are.

  30. Jeffbuc Says:

Clean house you say your a bucs fan since 86 but hopes Winston plays against us and throws for 500 yards and beats us. You are not a buc fan. I don’t care if we trade mike Evans right now for a 7th round pick because we don’t like his hair style. Which we all no would be wrong and piss us all off. But I still would want him to be held catch less if he plays against us. Players come and go my team love doesn’t. You are obviously a Winston fan first bucs fan second. And it wouldn’t surprise me at all if you end up watching saints games while the bucs are playing and hoping drew brees gets hurt so you can watch jameis play. To wish another teams player throws for 500 yards against us is just offensive and stupid.

  31. FuNkYxMuNkEy Says:

A real fan would never wish for us to be beaten by a 3rd string QB. You already looked silly but all credibility went out the door with that statement. Clearly you are pulling for Shameis over the Bucs. That makes you a Shameis fan and not a true Bucs fan.

  32. Joe in Michigan Says:

Yeah, Clean House outed himself as a phony…Says he’s a Bucs fan, roots for the Saints.

  33. Clean House Says:

If they hypothetically let Mike Evans go for a 7th, they deserve to be fired and deserve a Mike Evans 200 yd 4 TD game against them to knock them out of playoff contention, so they will then be properly fired and the franchise can be put back on track.

  34. Clean House Says:

Jameis wasn’t signed because the league group-think is that if BS couldn’t fix him, he can’t be fixed. Because everyone bought the propaganda masters whisperer narrative ( Except Payton Manning who called him out) hook, line, and sinker and because Jameis has a terrible Agent/publicist. Dude played two meaningless weeks with a broken hand for these ingrate scum only to be thrown under the bus…
And still led the NFL in Passing- undeniable

  35. Clean House Says:

What I’d like to see ideally is Jameis learn some more from Drew Brees and Sean Payton and then hopefully come back as the Bucs starter once this GM/ coaching/qb/TE sunset tour marketing experiment is over.

I’d rather build on with a 26year old NFL passing leader when he’s turning 28

  36. Clean House Says:

I’ve earned the right to call out BS after watching and attending for 34 years of mostly garbage.
Thanks though for chiming in though and thanks for joining the bandwagon Patriot fans. Thanks for using the team and the weather for your sunset tour coach BS.
Don’t you dare take any blame coach, might effect your NFL good ol boy legacy.

Oh, and why don’t you get a decent running back? Are you blind or senile…

  37. Anonymous Says:

Your not a bucs fan your Pathetic. go be a saint fan thanks for the check your stat sheet comment though That is enough to see your as delusional as jameis is. He had more turnovers then touchdowns so yards mean nothing it’s not balling it isn’t even breaking even……. Morons like you make true fans sick to say you hope we get dumped on by any team let alone a rival team proves your not a true fan just a joke. But hey even if he did throw for that many yards against us he would still f it up have more turnovers then touchdowns and we would still win and this is coming from someone who used to root for jameis and stick up for him non stop til the “I’m balling” comment that changed everything you can’t fix some one who doesn’t see there mistakes for what they are and as long as that’s the case he will never be a winning QB in the NFL.

  38. Joe in Michigan Says:

Everybody thinks Clean House is Ndog because 2 people can’t be THAT delusional. Can they?
