“That’s A Disrespectful Spread”

May 12th, 2020

Banking on the Bucs.

Adam Schein just can’t believe it. That’s why he’s calling his short-term investment broker.

Then again, Schein, the popular national sports television and radio talking head of SiriusXM and CBS Sports fame, really doesn’t have to call anyone. He just needs to whip out his cellphone and take a quick round-trip train ride across the river to the land of enchantment known as New Jersey, where he can place a bet on his app without leaving his train seat.

You see, the wise guys in Las Vegas have betting lines already for Week 1 of the National Football League. And the slimy Saints are favored by 4.5 points over the Bucs in New Orleans.

Schein smells blood in the water.

“I mean 4.5 points? Please!” Schein said. “I couldn’t circle Tampa Bay fast enough. That is a disrespectful spread!”

Schein details why he’s all over the Bucs in this game. It makes all the sense in the world.

You can watch Schein on the CBS video below.

I think it opened at 6.5. Still, 4.5 is too much. I love the fact Payton has told his players to just show up ready for camp, vs our Bucs having virtual workouts. That’s a sign of a collective focus and determination. That bodes well for week 1 where the Saints have been off to slow starts lately….

So Vegas is saying on a neutral field the saints are anywhere between a 1.5-3.5 favorite. Throw in 3 pts for home field advantage and you have your 4.5-6.5 line.

The advantage New Orleans has is they are running the same offense while our QB is learning a totally new offense and has no chemistry or timing with any of the players.

Remember the betting line is to get as close to 50/50 wager on both sides. That way the book makers always make money. If the wagers are to one sided then the book makers are gambling. They are not gamblers. If the Bucs opened at +6.5 and now it’s down to +4.5 money is bet on the Bucs and the book makers are trying to get money in on the Saints to somewhat balance their books.

It has nothing to do with respect. Another talking head saying nothing.

    we starting out 1-0!!!!!!!!

    GO BUCS!!!!!!

  12. El Buco Realisto Says:

Take the under!!!!!!!! Brady will keep the score close, until too many Bucs penalties and coaching mistakes caused the first loss!!!!!!!!!! Ole stale biscuit will blame the virus for not being prepared!!!!!!!!! It will take the Saints about two plays to figure out that gronk is nothing more than a decoy, who can’t run and does not have the heart anymore to be an effective blocker!!!!!!!!! The second Saints game will have the bucs getting blown out!!!!!!!!! The Saints will have tape on the bucs by then, and the bucs penalties and coaching mistakes will not be fixed through the whole season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s time to herd the sheep, and put them back in the pen!!!!!!!!!!

    go bucs!!!!!!!!!!

Old yellow dog checking in! Chris Thomas, the man who could make you laugh a thousand different ways while educating you too!!

oh how folks errr sheep forgot that it aint how you start, its how you finish…lol….the same clown hoping for a week1 blunder is the same clown who was riding high after a week1 win while we were on the road to yet ANOTHER 5win season…..lol….

So hard to believe that the sheep and so-called fans wanted Head Coach Koetter and the coaching staff on the hot seat or even a total regime change!!!!!!! The “real” fans have got to watch the most exciting football in Head Coach Koetter’s reign then all the years since Gruden walked the halls!!!!!!! Same on all the so-called fans that wanted to derail this!!!!!!!! and Great Job by Coach Smitty out-coaching the eagles defensive coordinator!!!!!! Even though Coach Smitty had less talent with way less experience!!!!!!!!
    Hold them accountable INDEED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

    luckily, they were held accountable!!!…..lol…

    GO BUCS!!!!!

  16. 813bucboi Says:

let the mussel stay on that mutt…..

he has room in his cage for a few more….

    GO BUCS!!!!!

  17. 541BucsFan Says:

Depending on injuries, I’d take the Saints at 4.5. The Saints have a wickedly talented and well balanced team. JW may be a useful scout in game 1.

  18. Howard Cosell Says:

Vegas knows the Glazers are still the owners LOL..
They have a track record of failure as long and illustrious
as Brady’s track record of success

I honestly hope this works out well for the Bucs…

  19. N GA Mountains Says:

I hate to say it, I really do, but you have to think advantage Saints. Bucs are gonna need some time gel. I would think the Saints will be a lot smoother week 1. Just from familiarity with each other. Slow starts in the past not withstanding…

  20. @Hands2theface Says:

Barbosa with the yella dog! Thank you 😊

    N GA Mountains,
