“Special”

April 29th, 2020

“Special” addition.

One veteran NFL analyst believes the Bucs are building something.

Former NFL offensive lineman Brian Baldinger of NFL Network is a big believer in what Bucs AC/DC-loving general manager Jason Licht is constructing. In fact, Baldinger says it is special.

Baldinger, as he often does, highlights a player and breaks down his film on Twitter. Below, Baldinger shows plays of new Bucs tight end Rob Gronkowski. And despite being physically beat to hell, he dominated lesser players.

Yes, Joe believes the Bucs could be special. The trick is, playing against the Saints who have real aspirations of a Super Bowl, can or will the Bucs be special enough?

Just getting rid of Winston was a plus. Add Brady and Gronk and a solid draft, the Bucs will be good, very good this year. Just hope they will get some time to actually practice together before the season starts.

  6. BigHog Says:

GOAT THE GREAT WHITE HOPE AND SIDE KICK BROKE BACK MOUNTAIN MAN GRONK used to be special but THE DREAM STILL LIVES IN NAWLEANS!!!

  7. BucsLyfe79 Says:

And the stench from the slop being peddled by one “BigHog,” still stinks to high heaven…even worse than bourbon st. the morning after mardi gras. #GOBUCS

  8. ©MadMax Says:

Hey Madea (bighog), go be a saints fan girly….they love their females…and when you catch an uber with JW, be sure to show him your big boobs but hide your weeny….he might not be into that, but helllll, who knows….go ask Ndog, she’ll have some insight!

  9. Bucsfanman Says:

You know, it’s kind of sickening that Buc “fans” can’t just enjoy the moment, watch a few highlights, and talk about the upcoming season and the excitement it brings!
If you’re not excited about this team, go somewhere else. Every NFL fan knows what Gronk and Brady bring to the table.
I’m watching a replay of the 2018 Wildcard with KC and NE. Besides watching Gronk rag-doll people, I’m watching the greatness that is Rex Burkhead. Yea, right? Straight ahead running, no shake and bake, no jukes just north and south. NE deploys a FB though.
If the Bucs were to get a legit FB, there’s no reason NOT to believe that Vaughn and Rojo will be just fine in the backfield.

@Bucsfanman, dont think for a second Wirfs couldnt be used in roles like that in certain situations….Cappa at RG, Hague at RT….Wirfs busting through, Big V behind him. Thats just some crazy fast 700 lb muscle busting through. Good luck stopping that LOL.

  11. Bucsfanman Says:

MadMax- It’s an aspect that I think would do wonders for the run-game. Plus, I don’t think it can be overstated how good of a blocker Gronk is. That, in itself, will make the ground game more effective.
I have to admit that watching the big fella catch a TD last year was fun! I’m sure you saw Vea’s high school tape of him at RB?! Scary!

  12. ©MadMax Says:

Bucsfanman, Yes Sir I did. I lobbied and pushed like nobody else for us to DRAFT BIG V. I was on it in december before the draft. I know what we have in him. My man can run and bust through.

So lovely to have another version of Big V on our O line now in Wirfs 🙂

  13. Proudbucsfan Says:

Tristen Wirfs kick steps are inconsistent when he pass blocks and he tends to get off balance but that is something he can correct his first year. His run blocking is really strong and Cappa’s run blocking has Improved. Along with gronk the Bucs could put just about any runner back there and be successful that’s why we didn’t go big name in the draft.

    “Just look at their eyes

    The new Bonnie and Clyde

They stole 10 million and absolutely no remorse

Goofy Gronk is going to injure his back carrying the bags of stolen loot from the Glazers”

    Coocoo^^^

  16. Delawest Says:

Baldy is always a good thing.

  17. Señor Harry in Costa Rica Says:

Thank you Joe(s). Love Baldinger’s breakdowns!

Cool to see, not what Gronk did over his career, but in his most recent season. LOVE the chances for this season!!!

However, BUCS BLOCK out the noise, NONE of you Buc vets have been to the mountain, so don’t pay attention to the hype!! Work your azz off and do your job, then celebrate AFTER you have been the FIRST team to win an at home SB game!!

  20. Year of the Goat 2020 Says:

if gronk stays healthy we will run the ball very effectively …. he run blocks like a Guard who know what he is doing….

  21. Nate Says:

Do you people really believe that BigHog and Ndog are Bucs fans? They are professional agitators. BigHog is an ignorant racist and Ndog is just ignorant. Why are you two on this site? Do us all a favor and go on a N.O. site and praise your messiah over there. Absolute freaking losers.

  22. Youngbucs Says:

That last pass by Brady was sick. Gronkowski was triple covered the pass was perfect.

  23. Mikey Goode Says:

I’m glad we got Brady and Gronkowski. But I wish we could of kept JW to let him learn from Brady. Mark my words Winston is going to be force to be reckoned with. It happens every time we get rid of a quarterback. Good luck Jameis Winston. GO BUCS!!!
