Joe likes the new power broker at One Buc Palace.
The guy’s a winner.
Of course, Joe is talking about Tom Brady.
He is the man, and he’s going to get a whole lot of what he wants at One Buc Palace when he wants it. We all remember Brady’s response when Howard Stern, referring to Bucs officials, told Brady on live radio, “They must have sucked your d*%# to get you to go to Tampa.” Brady laughed and initially replied, “it felt good.”
Bucco Bruce Arians was talking today to his former colleague and CBS Sports sideline reporter Melanie Collins about yesterday’s trade for superstar tight end Rob Gronkowski. She promised a full report later tonight but served this up on Twitter.
Just got off the phone with Bruce Arians- he told me the idea to bring Gronk to Tampa was Tom’s. And although he wasn’t sure it was going to be possible, Brady kept pushing with Gronk! Jason Licht reached out to NE to find out what it would cost to get him. The rest is history!

Joe has heard other credible reports today of Brady pitching Gronkowski during the free agency process and pressing the matter afterwards.

3rd- Best OL or S available
Not convinced Arians and Licht will take OL based on their history.
Trade O.J. for hopefully a 3rd. Use that 3rd and 2nd round pick to move back in late 1st round and grab that RB you want.

only thing gonna stop the bucs this season is covid- 19, it sure won’t be the taints, the niner’s or green bay, man just when my beloved team gets back to relevancy and a legitimate shot at another championship, a damn worldwide pandemic threatens to shut down their season, and crush our spirit’s i swear you can not make this crap up in hollywood

Most likely Gronk called Brady first. He was still under contract with NE, so he and Arians would be barred from speaking directly with each other. Tom then relayed Gronks’ desire to return to football… at a ‘park’ near you.

Well there you go, and if the Bucs have complete trash at their #3 WR like they do right now, Tom says get me Antonio — the team gets it done. To be clear, I fully support the move as I’m not betting the entire season on Scotty Miller as the starting #3 WR.

The bucs trade OJ Howard and their 14th pick to Jacksonville for their 9th pick. But the surprise is instead of taking an offensive tackle they take Isaiah Simmons. Safety and future replacement for David.
