“We’re Going Straight Savage This Year”

March 17th, 2020

Talks Bucs future.

Our beloved Buccaneers have invested gobs of Team Glazer loot into their pass rush for the 2020 season.

Fans haven’t seen this kind of loot thrown around since Lovie Smith and Jason Licht opened the vault for Michael “Ghost” Johnson.

Combined, Jason Pierre Paul and Shaq Barrett will earn about $30 million this season.

JPP locked down his new deal yesterday, and it appears he was at One Buc Palace to make it happen. The Buccaneers released a video of JPP following him getting paid like a top-15 pass rusher, about $13 million per season through 2021.

JPP vowed to continue balling on every snap, and he let Bucs know he’s expecting big things: “We’re going straight savage this year.”

Enjoy the video below.

    Beast!

His talent/warrior mentality remind me somewhat of Sapp. Completely different players, but they are DOGS and each possess not only rare talent, but true grit and desire.

  3. Tbbucs3 Says:

Stop the pass and we’ll see

  4. Youngbucs Says:

    🔥🔥🔥

  5. SteveK Says:

I hope JPP gets to be more vocal on defense this year and unleashes his relentless attitude and motivation to destroy the opposition. So refreshing to see a stud player have a savage mindset to boot.

This is what we need. He’s the spark plug!! Thank you Jason. Now get Suh and Nassib. Go Bucs!!

  7. tmaxcon Says:

50/50 this dumbarse misses half the season again. But no worries bucfan loves giving free passes and making excuses

  8. Bucsfan951 Says:

I’ll believe it when I see it. I need more than 5-6 good games from the defense to go all in. He’s drunk off of 27 million dollars and talking out of his rear end.

You back a money truck up to my casa with 27 million and I’ll be talking out of my rear end, too!

  9. DoooshLaRue Says:

    Love it!

Now, relax and don’t do anything silly to hurt yourself… again.

  10. SteveK Says:

Funny how JPP produced after getting into accident.

However, a QB who was suspended, lied about it, and failed to outdo Fitzmagic get all the love?

And, per the same source Dungy was not a good coach?

    It’s so damn hilarious!

I do agree about McIcecream though!

  11. No Risk It No Biscuit Says:

The get out D Way team is back…..Barrett and JPP!!!! Now we need to restore the Wall of Vita and Suh!!!!!! The real #93!!!!

    Go Bucs!!!

  12. 813bucboi Says:

JPP knows he’ll have a QB that wont put the defense in a hole early and often…

    GO BUCS!!!!

  13. Bucsfan951 Says:

Haha SteveK with the ever so slightest dig at one Maxi

You can’t get made at said fellow. He’s a Sapp nutthugger. I mean, that’s all he brings up. You will find it so much better when you teach yourself to not even read that persons comments. I scroll right by them as if they weren’t there. Makes this site so much better when you can do that.

But I believe that dude was a t shirt maker… a screen printer. Can you believe that! A dude who talks about hard work made effing t shirts! Can’t be that hard to make sure the screen print goes on level! Haha

Anyways, don’t mind him. He’s the site troll and every site has to have one. He’ll be waking up to his Sapp real doll soon enough, wipe off the k & y (censored so this doesn’t get erased by the powers who be) from himself and start his day.

These team is not about to change personnel much, but I bet we are about to see a new savage mentality. When you like playing together, do your job and have fun going to get it. Welcome back, Shaq, JPP, Suh and Winston (lol)

  15. pelbuc Says:

    Hardy Nickerson 2.0!

  16. John Sinclear Says:

So that’s $30 million of the cap space gone? And others they want to keep yet unsigned? And they need to reserve $10 million for the draft, etc? So Brady will sign for the remaining $15 million ??

  17. MarineBucsFan Says:

If he not already, I think Kinlaw will become the top player on Bucs draft board as far as best available and need at 14. Because if we sign Brady, we may not be able to bring Suh back.

  18. TOM Says:

If I was Brady I’m not sure he’d want Leftwitch calling the plays. He’s already forgotten more football than Lefty has ever known. Just sayin.

  19. GhostofSchiano Says:

Sign suh and it’s going to be on next year

  20. Ghost of Darrell Henderson Says:

“If he not already, I think Kinlaw will become the top player on Bucs draft board as far as best available and need at 14.”

The problem with that idea is that SF unloaded their best interior DL and stepped one pick in front of the Bucs. Lynch will take Kinlaw at #13.

A good chess move would be to swap the #14 pick with Gruden for his #12. Maybe the Bucs can give him that 4th round compensatory (free) pick and grab Kinlaw.

If Gruden wants a receiver, he will be there at #14.

  21. MarineBucsFan Says:

    Good point

  22. WestChap Says:

The definition of grit and a grinder… with the talent and personality to be a true leader on the field and in the locker room. Now let’s get Suh under contract and I’ll relax a little. 🙂
