has a pro qb ever thrown 30 picks and lost 5 fumbles before ?? how many years to you make the same excuses for Winston before you say enough.. .No, I dont hate the man but i want the bucs to win and season tkts are an expensive hobby .

  2. SteveK Says:

    Joe,

With all due respect, Jameis is worth about $20 million-prove it deal next year.

  3. Jmarkbuc Says:

Man U recently been called an embarrassment and worst squad ever…go team Glazer

  4. TexBuc Says:

    Vinny T (88) threw 35 INT 6 fumbles lost,
Peyton Manning (98) 28 INT, 3 fumbles lost
    George Blanda (62) 42 INT
Brett Favre (05) 29 INT, 8 fumble lost

  5. Ndog Says:

I can’t wait to see the roaches run for cover when we let Jameis walk and he comes back here to win the Superbowl here in Raymond James Stadium next year. That would be so Bucs and all the CLUELESS of the world would be on here saying see we should have kept him I told you all along.

  6. Alanbucsfan Says:

What team’s fanbase is clamoring to sign Jameis?

  7. Joe in Michigan Says:

Let’s say Jameis gets a better offer elsewhere…Is Taysom Hill (Saints RFA) a legit NFL passer? I’d rather have a 30 year old duel threat than Rivers, if his arm fits our system. It’d also take away a valuable asset from the Saints. If they resign Brees and/or Bridgewater, they might not have the cap space to match a $15 mil (or whatever it’d take) offer. In conclusion, I’d rather have someone who’d be around for a while, I don’t want to use our 1st Rounder for a QB, especially if the top 3 or 4 are off the board.

  8. Joe in Michigan Says:

New Orleans can put a 1 Round tender on him (which is “only” $4.5 mil). I thought it’d just be match the contract offer, or not. Shot that idea down.

  9. Robert James Says:

@ALANBUC… THE BUCS will only be competing against themselves. Every other team will be trying to get him cheap as almost a plan b guy or prove it guy

  10. FortMyersDave Says:

Very entertaining. Ira and Lee made interesting points about the Glazers, especially the comparison to Hugh “the screw” Culverhouse (and that awful tangerine sportcoat) and about how the lads fared after Malcolm had the stroke. Ira made a good point about how Winston would probably have fewer picks if he did not throw 48 times a game! Is there any stat geek who has calculated a % for picks per attempt and compared #3 to guys like Rivers and Mayfield as well as other qbs both present and past? Not sure if Winston should be franchised but I would stay away from Rivers. If he was still a high tier QB then the Chargers would not let him go and with his lack of mobility he will get sacked a lot and still probably air out 18 to 22 picks if he does not get injured. Great podcast, always enjoy it and yes Big Storm has several darn good beers and they have a great taproom in South Cape Coral.

    😂👍👍

Ndog- and if that doesn’t happen are you the “CLUELESS” one? I will happily admit I’m wrong of your scenario happens.

  12. Joe Says:

    Thanks Dave!

  13. Loyaltotheend Section 312 Says:

    Ira says (paraphrasing)

Best thing for Jameis is not to tell him to throw the ball 48 times a game…

    False!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even when he doesn’t have a high volume of throws he still turns it over

    Week 1
    36 attempts 3 INTS
    Week 12
    28 attempts 2 INTS
    Week 17
    24 attempts 2 INTS

  14. TERRY L EDDY Says:

    First 5 years
    Peyton-TD-138
    Jameis-TD-121

    Peyton-int-100
    Jameis-int-88

I THINK HE IS AND SHOULD BE
    BUCS QB
