Support For Bruce Arians

October 30th, 2019

Backs Bruce Arians.

A former Cowboys defensive end has Bucco Bruce Arians’ back.

Several national outlets nationally are still buzzing about Arians blasting referees for missing calls like what happened against the Bucs in Nashville. There, a scoop-and-score by Andrew Adams after a fumbled fake field goal would have given the Bucs a late lead Sunday.

But a quick whistle killed the play, and maybe killed the Bucs’ chances at a win, and killed any playoff prayers the Bucs had.

And with the season plunging to what looks to be a 4-12 campaign, you wonder with so many things going so terribly wrong with the team, if Team Glazer may think they made a mistake last January and decide to reboot the whole organization and have a housecleaning at One Buc Palace this coming January.

That was certainly on Arians’ mind when he said in his emotional postgame press conference that losses like that get coaches fired yet the referees skate.

Of course, Arians likely will get fined heavily for his words, but former Cowboys defensive end Marcus Spears said this coddling of referees has to stop.

Spears is outraged how every weekend, it seems, a bad call determines an outcome of a game but referees are not suspended or penalized by the NFL. Yet, Spears said, players get cut for losses and coaches get run.

Spears calls for public trials of bad referees in this BSPN video below.

That and the treatment of Qb. JW gets toss around after passes while other lineman cannot even look at Brady or Rogers. I see a difference and know the difference.

Watson from Texans gets mauled and no penalties but Mahomes only gets injured by friendly fire smh

  2. ModHairKen Says:

Arians is not getting fired. That is stupid. There will be no “reboot.” What the Bucs will do is give him time to fix things. And BA will.

  3. Pewter power Says:

The problem ain’t BA and only local media and bucs fans are calling him out but this was the joke all over national media that the bucs would spoil his good name and make him want to retire again. He is not the issue he has not been a loser even with bad draft picks. The problem other than VH3 and Davis is him letting leftwich call plays and that may be his downfall, the glazers didnt want anyone else calling plays in the first place so when the season is over how will BA justify allowing him to call plays

I would even be happier if harold godwin took over playcalling since he also has more experience at it than leftwich.

  4. Sport Says:

Shocking that a positive supporting article of Arians has so few comments, and they are in support of BA.

Doesn’t fit the blowhards narrative. This is why Joe is always spewing negative articles.

    In BA I Trust!

  5. Buc'n Enough Says:

The Glazers may have to pull a re-boot in order to generate interest in the team…they will probably unveil a new uni for next year to generate Buc Gear sales to generate some revenue. If they bring back GUMP and Wins-none, they will have zero fan support.

Gump is the common denominator in this 6 years of crap football.

  6. jjbucfan Says:

Sport- don’t worry- the same idiots will be here spouting the same stupid crap they always do. Give them a chance

  7. Defense Rules Says:

@Joe … “And with the season plunging to what looks to be a 4-12 campaign”. Far too early for that conclusion Joe. With 9 games to go, and with a better schedule & with our defense just starting to gel, we still have an outside chance of breaking even on the season. Granted it’d take us going 6-3 the rest of the way, but it’s still possible IF our offense can get its’ act together. Admittedly however, 6-10 or maybe 7-9 is more likely.

  8. Son of Kobe Faker Says:

“99.9 % of the national hacks think BA is involved in the game planning and playcalling

we brought in the fired Arizona Leftover to coach & to evaluate our QB

    LOL

Glazers are a little bit smarter than the Bucs fan base. They knew it wasnt right for an inexperienced coach to call plays in JWs evaluation year. My Dad thinks the Glazers was scammed because they all logically thought that at least the self proclaimed Genius was going to be heavily involved in the game planing. Little did everyone know, GrandPa Smurfs mere presence is all it takes to be a playoff team

heading toward 4-12…if we are lucky”

  9. Locked In Says:

It takes more than one season to polish a turd.

  10. Petty Officer Buc Says:

And how much time was still left on the clock? Who got the ball back anyways?

    Anything to deflect blame.

  13. AllhailJPP Says:

Our GM has time for a twitter burner account defending Jaemis.. gfc… foh man.

  14. Ate one tree Says:

Oh boy Jason Licht got caught with a pro jameis burger account 🤦🏽‍♂️

  15. Anonymous Says:

Who was it who predicted a 6-0 start? Blind stupidity. They won’t win 6 games all year. Sad.

  16. Ate one tree Says:

    Burner* account on twitter

  17. passthebuc Says:

    Let him hire him

  18. Pete I Says:

Bruce ” Lack of Preparation H” Arians

Wow how that poll’s changed from the last one.

  19. Armybucsfan Says:

    Joe,

Change winstons name to America’s most interception, crab leg stealing, groping Uber drivers prone pro bowl ALTERNATE QUARTERBACK!!!!!! This guys is a joke joe. Why not write about an article about getting rid of Jameis and going after Bridgewater. He’s a proven quarterback and went 5-0 with the Saints who have less playmakers at WR & TE THAN WE DO. WE JUST NEED A QB AND A RB in free agency then we can do us on the O-Line and our DB’s.

  20. 813bucboi Says:

the whistle hurt us….but JW killed us early….

    GO BUCS!!!!!

  21. unbelievable Says:

Officiating has killed us in several games this year, just like every other year.

At least other people are finally starting to see how much of a problem it is league wide. Doesnt’ matter, NFL games are fixed any way.

I love how 813 has turned into the ultimate Jameis hater simply b/c his boy VH3 sucks out loud. It’s adorable.

  22. Isaac haggins Says:

Been saying for years , I would pull my team from the field for something as blatant as Sun . Money Talks and that will hit the Wallet and with the recent history any action taken against said coach would be huge huge problems for the NFL !!! Money talks and trust me that would start a money Train in many directions that the NFL would never ever want again !!! No matter and language or signed literature you can’t swerve a fiduciary responsibility and when you try it will bite you immensely worse at jury trial !!! Which is where the NFL should be taken !!! Not that mistakes can’t happen but the non handling of them has tremendous financial impact but perhaps the colluded league fears hurting of itself !!!!

  23. Hodad Says:

Why do I have to keep reminding you BA huggers he was hired to win now, not three years down the road. He himself said this was a perfect situation. He got all his old coaches, loved Jameis, said Licht had built a fine roster he could win now with. Remember training camp, the secondary is fixed? Does it looked fixed? I didn’t say it was BS said it. He was wrong, what else was he wrong about? How about Winston? Whatever BS whispered into his ear, came out the other ear without stopping in between. We’re not going to win this year, or the next three years if Licht, Jameis, and BA are still here. They all suck!

  24. Sharthappens Says:

One play does not make the game. Better coaching on the other 90 plays would have won us the game.

  25. Petty Officer Buc Says:

To be fair to Bruce Arians, in training camp Jameis was throwing the ball against the first team defense, so Brucie sees so many poorly thrown balls and interceptions in Training camp and probably thought he has the legion of boom on his hands.

Brucie just can’t put two and two together and realize there is a reason his secondary seemed “fixed” yet now it doesn’t. Jameis had a terrible camp and now is having a terrible year.

  26. Jean Lafitte Says:

If Joe continues his rhetoric for us to start tanking this early in the season, then this is where I want off the bus.

  27. DalvinCookRules Says:

How has that Bucs strategy of firing coaches every 2-3 years while keeping the same GM (and people at the top) worked out for the last 15 years?

Arians is not the problem. The Bucs are better prepared each game defensively than I can remember. The offensive play-calling is inconsistent,

but this team does not have any superstar players outside of Mike Evans and Lavonte David. THAT IS THE PROBLEM.

  28. Xfactor Says:

Good old Licht and a fake burner Twitter account. These things just write themselves.

  29. Wes Says:

‘It needs to be publicly!’ Great last line. Fully agree.

  30. Show me the TDs Says:

Lamarcus and Jamis. Wallowing in victimhood won’t get you anywhere. Your posts are asinine. What are you, 12?

  31. Dapostman Says:

Winston is responsible for about 8 turnovers in the 7 games. That’s it. The other turnovers are caused by other players not doing their jobs.

    Ball off hands
    wrong routes
    pass blocking failures
    run blocking failure
    end of game situations

Any astute football watcher knows this. Typical American football fan not so much.
Hell Hilliary Clinton got over 65 million votes. That should tell you all you need to know about the American public.
