“I Am Sick And Tired Of It”

October 27th, 2019

It seems to Joe that the Bucs locker room is a powder keg about to blow the lid off of things.

On the Buccaneers Radio Network, you can sure tell some players are absolutely fed up with things. And two of those players are the two best players on both sides of the ball for the Bucs, Mike Evans and Lavonte David.

Per Arians, though he did not offer specifics, it seems David may have torn into the secondary if not the defense and perhaps the whole team in the locker room after the game.

“Once again, our defensive backs gave up plays with poor technique,” Arians told T.J. Rives live on the Buccaneers Radio Network.

“I am sick and tired of it to be honest. I didn’t have to say a word to them. Lavonte took over.”

Just before Arians spoke to Rives, David did. Asked for a reaction to the game, David, clearly frustrated, said, “It’s a broken record. It’s beating a dead horse.”

Evans was no less upset.

“This offense doesn’t play consistent at all!” Evans said.

Well, the way Joe looks at it, the season is over. A coach like Arians cannot say he is sick of things and continue to play Breshad Perriman, who can run (mostly with his head up his rear), quit giving the GD ball to Peyton Barber on damn near every first down up the middle, and get rid of Dare-you-to-play Ohgodheisawful.

Until then, all of this “I’m tired of it” talk is just empty talk.

The season is done. The tough talk should have taken place weeks ago.

For a team to come off a bye week and two straight losses to play as sloppy as the Bucs did is inexcusable and if someone’s head doesn’t roll as a result, then that’s on Team Glazer.

Don’t worry, Licht will keep drafting DBs. It’ll get better.

  13. MTM Says:

It’s Groundhog Day this time of year. Sub 500 season let’s talk draft. You know cause we are so terrific at drafting players. Especially QB’s. Maybe the Glazers can hire a consulting firm to do their draft next year. 🤦🏻‍♂️

  14. Mike Johnson Says:

The Bucs will not rest until they have Arians back in the Hospital. Welcome to Hexxed country Mr. Arians. I..we feel your pain. Although mine is dulled from all the drinking I did during the loss.

  15. DalvinCookRules Says:

I think Arians is still a big upgrade over Koetter and as good as any coach the Bucs have had not named Dungy. The results are not yet showing up on the scoreboard, but a lot of that has to do with having an inconsistent QB and a lack of talent at key spots (which is on Licht).

This is yet another game the Bucs should’ve won. The biggest needs are a true shutdown CB, one truly elite OL, and a QB who doesn’t throw games away.

  16. Jean Lafitte Says:

    both short fields

    No one saw this coming.

The loss was on Jameis ” meaningless stats ” Winston America’s QB

  19. down in the dirt doug Says:

OUR TEAM IS WAY TO PREDICTABLE–THATS ON THE COACHEWhen the other team brings everyone to the line what do we do–we run right up the middle for two or three yards.DUH!!!!bOTTOM LINE–YOU CAN’T WIN WITH A QUARTERBACK THAT WINS LESS THAN 40% OF HIS GAMES.

  20. AlteredEgo Says: Your comment is awaiting moderation. Says:

LVD…while hollering at the defense….his same words applied to the offense and Jamyth in particular….MENS health and livelihood is on the line each snap…they are paid for EXCELLENCE….Jameis needs to be benched for the mental health of the team and everyone associated with the franchise inside OBP and in the stands of the RayJay….WhoTF….has not seen ENOUGH of Jamyth ?

  21. Jeebs the Honey Bear Says:

Byron Leftwich needs to hit the road!! Any chance Jameis had this year was lost under the tutelage of that overwhelmed loser. Jason Licht needs to go!! But we knew that 2 years ago!!! Breshad Perriman? Useless! Dare Ogunbawale?? Garbage! JAMEIS WINSTON??? DETRITUS!! O line??? MORE LIKE NO LINE. BLOW THIS THING UP

  22. D-Rome Says:

Arians said none of Jay-Miss’ INTs are his fault.

If Arians really believes that then the Bucs should extend Winston tomorrow. Give him the $120+ million contract!

I bet they won’t because at the end of the day if you take away the fumbles and INTs he’s still a below average decision maker.

  23. Tampabaybucfan Says:

That fake punt was a fumble….but blew the whistle….usually refs let those sorts of plays play-out……..we score, we win….but can’t challenge or advance the ball……

  24. Bird Says:

Those are clearly the two best players on offense and defense.

    Both were beasts today

I think players are tired of you know who

  25. Kalind Says:

Yea. I’m a constant Jameis and Licht defender, but you have to blow it up. Sell sell sell. And frankly, I don’t care if Arians is back next year. Burn it with fire and start over. Keep Evans, Godwin, Howard, Marpet, Cappa, and Jones. Vea, White, Whitehead, Dean, SMB, Davis, sign Barrett.

Toss everyone else for picks. First for Donovan, David, Brate.

Second for JPP, Third for Demar, and Suh

  26. Petty Officer Buc Says:

    Justin Herbert
    Jacob Eason
    Jake Fromm
    Joe Burrow

Better start getting used to those names. I can already think of a nickname. Earth’s Quarterback…

  27. orlbucfan Says:

I am getting very sick and tired of BA! His offensive gameplan stunk to start with today With offensive weapons like the receivers, tight ends and runners who can catch a football, this idiot HC keeps calling running-up-the-middle plays to start a game??? Right. Same old crap as Chucky Gruden. After he/Dungy won the SB, he was an overrated Offensive joke. Same old play calls and never changed in the second half. The players on this team don’t deserve it. Mebbe they will go on strike. I wouldn’t blame them.

  28. AlteredEgo Says: Your comment is awaiting moderation. Says:

Even DJax feels bad for his friends still on the Bucs roster….

  29. Rob Says:

No way Shameus comes back, not even for one year. Did sucks 10 ways from Sunday. Mindless turnover after turnover. As a die hard Buc fan since 1980, I can’t watch the Shameus $hit show anymore. Bench his inept a$$. Release Perriman today. Admit you were wrong about being able to change Shameus and his unending propensity for fumbles and interceptions. Good god I’ve seen enough of that ineffective clown. Give me anyone else. Play Griffin the rest of the year’s day see what he can do. Try and trade Shameus for a bottle of haterade and an 11th rounder never. I hate what Shameus has done to my Sundays. Arians and Leftwich, you suck too

  30. Nptbuc Says:

I’m on the Joe Train with this one. Pretty sad when couch coaches sitting at home can tell you most plays that Leftbitch is going to run. Was it just me or did I see 2-3 receivers within 5yds of each other on numerous plays? Routes? What Routes? Keep our D line and backers. Blow up the rest of the team. It’s over Katie. Turn out the lights.

  31. Defense Rules Says:

Interesting to hear that Arians says he’s sick & tired of the Bucs’ Secondary using bad technique, yet he doesn’t have the cojones to say a single word about how bad HIS offense, and specifically Jameis Winston, played.

The Bucs’ defense played goo enough to win this ballgame had it not been for the Bucs’ offense continually crapping the bed. THAT’S on Winston and THAT’S on Leftwich. Barber & Ogunbowale are both mediocre at best; Jones needs to be getting the lion’s share of the carries. Perriman & Miller have no business even being in the NFL, despite what Gump thinks. And this Bucs’ OLine should be downright ashamed of itself; their play today was disgusting.

No need to blow it all up though. Relegate Leftwich to an observer role, and demand that Arians call the plays. If he refuses, fire him for cause. Bench Winston & start Griffin for a 3-game commitment at least. Get rid of Perriman & Miller; they’re both useless. Keep VHIII & MJ Stewart for now, but relegate them to the bench so we can get these youngsters some game-time. How about a little ACCOUNTABILITY coach, starting with yourself.

  32. BucFan81 Says:

QB can’t keep turning the ball over. You can’t waste time outs because you can’t get set. On 4th and 1 with the game on the line you run it up the middle? That is bad play calling and the fact they can’t trust the damn QB because of previous turn overs in the game. Does not take much common sense here 4th and 1 game on the line I would want it in my stars hands you know the guy that pretty much kept you in the damn game Mike Evans or Chris Godwin and if they can’t make a play then at least you lose going to the best players on your damn team.

  33. JimmyJack Says:

I am very pleased with the Bucs performance today. Ton of mistakes cost us in the 1st half and in the 2nd half we were cheated multiple multiple times. Apparently cheating is allowed to take place in today’s NFL. Bucs made the plays to win today!! There are still a lot of mistakes to clean up but was a great winning effort today. I’m confident we can win a lot more games the rest of season!!

  34. ElBajito43 Says:

    Tampa Bay Buccaneers

It’s looking more like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers need to cut bait with former No. 1 overall pick Jameis Winston. Frankly, he just can’t be counted on to be the guy he was drafted to be. Thus, Hurts could be the next player in the mix to line up under center for the Bucs. His pristine decision-making would be a welcomed diversion from the way Winston has played.

Can you imagine a larger Kyler Murray with deep ball arm????

Papá BWUCY BWuce can….. but “Trash” Licht will sabotage this. Winston and LICHT My Balls are planning to keep the Bucs in the middle of Round 1 so Uncle “Fatso” can draft another project for the secondary

  35. Sharthappens Says:

Jameis Winston now has 6 career games with 4+ giveaways (most such games by any QB since 2015).

  36. Bird Says:

Yah. I don’t get it. Arians is noted for ripping into players Who continually make mistakes or stupid plays.

Yet , he will not go after his injured baby fawn. He is off limits. I know he doesn’t want to get in his head but at this point you have to see the player for what he is.

I think the other players have to hate that.

  37. Buc believer Says:

Did one of Brucies coaches forget to plug in his golf cart? Is that why Grandpops is so mad?

  38. Bucs_Fan_Orlando Says:

Is possible, can you please send our apologies to Mike Evans.

He may the beat Bucs player ever. He should be a HOF wide receiver but he is stuck on the bucs team.

For Mike I wish him traded to a team that can meet his capabilities and provide him the pro bowl QB he deserves to make HOF numbers. As a Bucs fan I dont want to see that at all.

As a huge fan of ME13 I dream of Brady. Brew, OMG Rodgers….. Mike deserves better.

Please if you can Joe tell Mike the fans are sorry for the Glazier decisions.

  39. Bucsfanman Says:

Defensive secondary had to continually be put in the right place ALL game. This is rare praise for LVD but, without him putting guys in position all game, it would’ve been worse.
2nd, Jameis just doesn’t see the field. Too many poor decisions. The plays were there.
3rd, Perriman and Dare are NOT good football players, PERIOD!
Last, you cannot be successful turning the ball over again and again. There is no debate about this.
    We’re sick of it too!!!

  40. Ndog Says:

I love that you people actually watch the games and still blame the qmQB today. My goodness you are stupid, there is just no way around it you are flat our CLUELESS if you think this game was on the QB.

  41. NPRSageBoy Says:

As of Oct 27, the season is over.

Now all loyal Buc fans can do what we do best: wait ’til next year. It’s what we’ve done since Chucky was fired.

Happy Halloween, wear a bag on your head and say Go Bucs!

  42. Capt. Tim Says:

I dont blame Arians for being fed up our secondary!
Those guys are playing like rookies and first year players!
Im less concerned about the young DBs. They will improve with experience.
Its the fact that Licht and Arians thought that a group of rookies would play well. Thats really disturbing.

Jameis is Jeff George. Hes poison to a franchise. He shows just enough talent- to persuade the team to keep giving him chances.
Meybe a new coach will fix him. Meybe a new O line.
He is exactly who you see, and always will be.
Just good enough, to loose impressively
    4-12 season after 4-12 season

  43. T REX Says:

    Arians is hot garbage

  44. Sharthappens Says:

The Bucs D gave up less than 300 yards. So you losers (led by NDog) cannot blame the D. JW cost us another game.
Jameis Winston now has 6 career games with 4+ giveaways (most such games by any QB since 2015).

  45. Defense Rules Says:

And Ndog, at least the Titans had the good sense to move on from Mariota. They weren’t winning with him, so turn the page. They’re now 2-0 without him.

Same with the Panthers. Weren’t winning with Cam, for whatever reason. Moved to a different QB & won 4 straight.

SOMETIMES it REALLY is the QB.

  46. Ndog Says:

So which of those TOs were the QBs fault today? The one snap too early, the one that the ball was hit as he was throwing or the two that were wrong routes? You guys have no idea what you are talking about. You want so bad for it to be in the QB you are blinded to the truth.

  47. soggy Says:

joe fully agree ,run on first down almost everytime, that is some real genius, some times I really wonder are really tryng to win?

  48. Defense Rules Says:

Bucsfanman … “Jameis just doesn’t see the field. Too many poor decisions. The plays were there.”

Nailed it. Time to move on.

  49. Ndog Says:

See you guys think that no one else makes mistakes. That is your issue but again that is because you lack intelligence.

  50. Sharthappens Says:

    Hey NDog:
Jameis Winston now has 6 career games with 4+ giveaways (most such games by any QB since 2015).

  51. Petty Officer Buc Says:

Fun drinking game: Take a drink every time NDOG claims that everyone else doesn’t know football but him and that Winston can do no wrong.

Just make sure you have a loved one to drive you to the hospital when your liver starts to fail within the hour.

  52. soggy Says:

sorry are we trying to win?

  53. Wesley Says:

Feel bad for David having to play on this team.

  54. Defense Rules Says:

Ndog … the snap that hit Winston in the face and resulted in a fumble was on Jensen, but it was ALSO on Winston. Miscommunications like that are on BOTH of the players involved.

  55. Aceofaerospace Says:

Does anyone believe these bucs can win 7 of their last 9 to have a respectable record. I don’t. Lose out. Why win another this year? If you’re not playing for the playoffs, why bother? 9 more games before Jameis becomes some team’s backup QB.

  56. Sharthappens Says:

National Dutch oven Group. NDog. JW will be waiting for you when the time plane lands. Pull out the Egyptian Cotton sheets for him

  57. Pete I Says:

NDOG calling out the peeps for not having intelligence. Now that is f*ing funny.

This loss was completely on Jameis ” meaningless stats ” Winston America’s QB

    And you sir are wrong.

  58. Sharthappens Says:

    Check this out:
Jameis Winston now has 6 career games with 4+ giveaways (most such games by any QB since 2015).

  59. ClodHopper Says:

When everyone else was sick of it a month ago Arians told us to calm down he’s only a few games in. Welcome to hell, Bruce. We’ve been waiting for you for over a decade. Now FINALLY do something about it.

  60. Aceofaerospace Says:

Since Jameis’ stats are sooooo good, I’m sure some team will trade a couple 1st round picks for him.

  61. JameisHas2Go Says:

    Heads will roll.
Jason Licht will not pick the next quarterback for this team.
There will be a shuffling of the scouting staff and pro player personal staff( except for the guy who recommended Shaquil Barrett, make that guy GM, JK)

There will be some coaching staff adjustments, just not at coordinator positions.

  62. Capt. Tim Says:

  63. Greg Says:

NDOG should be kicked off the site. You cant call people stupid just because you want to kiss Winston’s butt. I’m sure you make excuses for everything he does. I dont think Winston is the whole problem but he sure isn’t the solution. Did you even listen to the announcers? We need a new GM, totally rebuild the O-line, secondary, and pass rushers. Long way to go.

  64. Getaclue Says:

This is the real joe talk we needed weeks ago also

  65. Sbucs Says:

I think they all wet themselves

  66. Dean Says:

I would gladly trade Winston for a 7th round pick. No takers?
Ok, I’ll give you a third, or 2nd or even first round pick to take that piece of s**t off our hands.
    We’ve seen enough…..

  67. Rayjay1122 Says:

On a positive note, the Bucs contributed some new bloopers for the archives. LMAO, what an awful franchise.

  68. Don_RyJo(e) Says:

I’m starting to feel genuinely bad for players this team drafts…such talent, year after year, thrown into the Buccaneers’ losing-culture-wood-chipper-type-device (I’m still working on the terminology). They deserve better…

  69. Im tired and 87 is right Says:

I just think you all are sadly mistaken thinking a new QB coming in will fix things. This team needs to start learning how to win as a team first. I saw to many guys not fighting for the ball on offense and questionable route running. I will support whoever is at QB but I’m afraid he is not the only problem here. This team just learns how to lost every week. We play to lose when where is this risk it no biscuit mentality? Go Bucs! Let’s turn this ship in the gosh damn right direction! Go Bucs!

  70. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Is there anyone on this site that will claim and prove that Jameis has improved since his rookie year?

  71. Pewter power Says:

Idiots, season is over no need to come here to complain anymore or “root” for the team. It’s pretty dumb to think that you can sell at this point in the season and a team wont snake you out of draft picks. No one is giving us the value our good players are worth. They ain’t blowing it up and if they did stop acting like it will keep you all from complaining. Seems like so many of you watch one game a week and dont see other teams make mistakes. Perriman should be cut not getting his foot down on that touchdown and the line is horrible

This issue is you could see where the weaknesses were in training camp and everyone from BA to licht pretended like it was going to be ok, like barber would actually be a good starting back like dare could actually block and like perriman actually could resurrect his career and learn how to run routes and catch…..this isn’t on the players it’s on licht and BA cuz a lot of them logging playing time shouldn’t be here

  72. JamesButabi Says:

The snap to the face Jameis said was his fault. The goal-line collision play was due to his snap call to early (also self admitted). The 10 yard overthrow was his turnover. The strip will give him 50/50 because DSmith got blown up but he had zero awareness. Will give him a pass on the Perriman finisher because that looked like a wrong route / giveup. Still can’t win with that many avoidable miscues.

  73. ElioT Says:

  74. ClodHopper Says:

Are you sick of turnovers yet?

  75. 813bucboi Says:

  76. Craig Says:

I think the defense took a big step forward today, they will be gelled in another game or two.

The Bucs would be fools to trade Lavonte, he will be the grown-up in the room that will make them work.

The problem is a QB that gives games away. Sounds like there should be a simple answer to that.

  77. ElioT Says:

It takes a village to be this awful guys…

Every player, coach and front office employee has responsibility in this.

The Bucs don’t find ways to lose…

Lot’s of luck to BA in righting this sh*t-show!

I have a feeling this may be the most embarrassing season we’ve seen in a while.

“Franchise” QB in year five, accomplished coaching staff, a roster with salary basically at the Cap, with many of the decent players on one year deals…

    They and WE are screwed.

  78. Jean Lafitte Says:

14 points off TO’s on short fields made the difference today

  79. RealityCheck Says:

Ndog is the single dumbest member of this site. Is he just trolling now? Completely delusional homer. Been watching the Bucs since I was 5. Jameis isn’t the answer to anything. He doesn’t make the team better.

  80. ElioT Says:

What can we do about it?

    JOES & SAGE!!!

You all have a lot of bandwidth, we need your help!

There needs to be a real union of pissed off fans who are sick and tired of getting brutalized every season.

Get together with the other local Bucs news outlets and let us fans know what we can do.

Screw the media credentials! No real fan cares about the Bucs sanctioned media and bull crap.

Patreon account, go fund me, etc…

We all need to send a freaking message to the Glaziers.

They know we can’t stop watching this team.

There needs to be serious changes, for real this time.

  81. BigZ Says:

And let’s not forget Carlton Davis and his ridiculous pass interference how many that this year? Those were huge it kept the drive alive after we shut them down it can’t be ignored. Week after week ..PI and hands to the face.

  82. AngelP Says:

I’ve defended Jmiss since day one; but I just can’t do it anymore….. like today I know it’s not always his fault but I just can’t anymore…. there are other quarterbacks with worse nO-lines & receivers that don’t turn the ball over 1/16th as much…. it’s maddening how one week he can look like an MVP candidate picking apart the best defenses in the league… & the very next week against a sub-par opponent; he looks like a bum throwing a frozen turkey that’s needs to be run out of town……. I’m tired of crying myself to sleep on Sundays

  83. Oregonbucsfan Says:

“Is there anyone on this site that will claim and prove that Jameis has improved since his rookie year?”
Ndog would say that he didn’t need to. He was perfect coming out of FSU. Other than wins I’ll bet his stats are about the same. Especially the turnovers.

  84. Oneilbucs Says:

I got 1 for you guys. Why not build the team like the 49ers. They don’t ask Jimmy G to win the game on his on like you guys expect Jamies to do . If we had a defense like that this would have been a win . If we had a running game like that this would have been a blow out . You guys are a bunch of brainwash national media people who don’t know nothing about football. The main problem with our team is we got a GM that didn’t know nothing about the history of the bucs when we was winning. We are a defensive type of team not a forness team . We are a physical type of team not a soft type of team. On offense we were hard nose pounding the ball forcing our will against defenses. We once had our own identity after the Oilers left town that’s why I became a bucs fan in 1995 cause I saw how Moon got blame for every lost and the defense was just to soft. But when I look at the 49ers I see the old bucs when winning was the only thing that matter. We didn’t care about quarterback and how many yards or touchdowns he has . Bring in a Real Bucs Guy That Knows What OUR True IDENTITY IS AS THE GM . AND BUILD OUR TEAM BACK TO WHAT WE USED TO BE!!!! DEFENSE DEFENSE DEFENSE AND POUND THE BALL!!!!!!

  85. BigHog Says:

ha ha ha ha all you so called fans saying get a QB keep drafting DB’s …your O/Line sucks and other than the two starting wide outs, no wide receiver is playing for more playing time! DOWN BY CONTACT is what lost this game!!! LETS GET ON THIS 10 GAME WIN STREAK!! GO BUCS!!

  86. Jmarkbuc Says:

    You mad BA?

Whatcha gonna do about it? Not jack💩.

Mr accountability is a vacation check cashing fraud.

  87. July Joe Says:

Maybe the Browns will fire Freddie Kitchens and BA will fire Byron and hire Kitchens who he’s even closer to and trusts even more apparently?

The TEAM sucks … Jameis was the greatest winner the NCAA ever saw going 26-1 and then got sucked into the Tampa black hole … Arians is a 2x NFL COY and 2x SB Champ as an assistant … and then got sucked into the Tampa black hole.

The fans SUCK far more than the team … they bash the team, bash the players, bash the coaches, bash the GM, bash the owners, don’t buy tickets so every home game is really a road game … and then whine when the team loses because they feel they DESERVE some more Ws …. SO MANY LOSERS … IDIOTS AND LOSERS!
