The pole questions are not precise. The pole should be weekly and the question should be “If you had to make the decision today, would you sign JW for 30 mil $ times 5 years”

  2. Lamarcus Says:

Jw my favorite player but I have to give him a F we don’t need a QB we need him to play corner is there any corner out there? Since ME13 is officially a number 2 can we trade him for a corner? Something? Anything? Please save our season we are so close

  3. 813bucboi Says:

imo, we got bad JW yesterday…..

but if VHG wasnt on the team we would have 1 less win and JW would deserve an A+….LOL…..

    GO BUCS!!!!!!

  4. Morgus the Magnificent Says:

    F. He’s a turd.

  5. 813bucboi Says:

another CB wont fix the pass rush….

outside of shaq, wheres the pressure coming from?…..

pass rush and secondary go hand in hand….

    GO BUCS!!!!!

  6. JP_09 Says:

@Lamarcus trade Evans, what the hell are you talking about. Godwin is great but he’s having success because Evans is on the other side. If you take Evans away Godwin would then be doubled, then who are you going to throw to Scotty Miller.

  7. BUC CHEEKS Says:

Ahhhhh Monday’s after a BAD loss… I should be used to this by now. I am NOT!

  8. AMI_Chris Says:

I gave him a B but he’s closer to a B-/C+. He can throw for a lot of yards when the stars align. But too many inaccurate sideline throws, instances where replay confirms he waits too long and open receivers become covered, and generally not making plays when top-ranked QBs do. He’s no worse than Mariota (7 points yesterday) but certainly has been passed by those who have come after him, like Goff and Mahomes.

The Bucs are really in a bind with him. He’ll want $25m+ and a multi-year commitment to re-sign. He’s not that good. But do you cut him lose and take a chance on a rookie or a re-tread when you’ve got Godwin, Evans, Howard, Brate in their primes?

  9. Ndog Says:

Morgus the Magnificent that makes me like him even more. F that punk.

  10. D-Rome Says:

I voted that I can’t. Five games isn’t enough for me and yesterday’s poor performance wasn’t all on him. I don’t recall him having a fumble in yesterday’s game so that’s a plus. I knew on his first couple of throws what kind of an afternoon it was going to be.

  11. 813bucboi Says:

    LOL….that was funny as hell!!!!!!…lol….

i thought he kicked cam jordan on another play in the game as well…..clearly JW was frustrated….it looked like cam thought it was funny too because he put his hand together like he was in a casket….lol…

    GO BUCS!!!!!

  12. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    Lamarcus Says
“Jw my favorite player but I have to give him a F we don’t need a QB we need him to play corner is there any corner out there?”

That makes absolutely zero sense, lol.

Giving Jameis an F because he isn’t a CB? LOL

  13. Bird Says:

Tough to judge thru onLy a few games
He gets all year to make decision

    Somewhere around B-

Interestingly, this is the first Jameis confidence pole ?
    Why is that ?

  14. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    Morgus the Magnificent Says
    “F. He’s a turd.”

How do you know that wasn’t payback for something Jordan did to him?

Either way, I didn’t mind it at all. Helmets are there for a reason.

  15. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

I gave him a B, and that’s only because he has been inconsistent. In fairness, so have his blockers.

  16. Negative Nancy Says:

    Ranked 20th in Total QBR.

Anything below 12th means your quarterback is making it harder for you to get to the playoffs rather than easier.

I’d hardly want a “franchise” quarterback where most teams have a better player starting at quarterback.

  17. Dre-Day Says:

lol jesus man 12 people give him a grade of “f”?

we literally have some of the dumbest, moronic, mentally challenged fans is the world.

  18. Dre-Day Says:

    *in the world……….

  19. jerseybuc Says:

You could tell from the first throw what kind of day he was going to have. Came out overhyped. Secondary is biggest issue but with a looming $100 million plus commitment to 3 I just don’t feel he is worth that sort of investment. Back ups and rookies are shining all over the league, save the money and invest elsewhere. Consistency is more important at the QB position than extreme high performances half the time we play.

  20. Bucsfanman Says:

Still a work in progress. It would benefit Jameis AND the offense to incorporate short-passing plays, especially under siege.
I gave him a ‘C’ only because his decision making still needs work.
    For this game, it’s a collective ‘F’!!!
What happened?! We went from wide-open WRs to ZERO separation. No protection! No short outlets called/thrown! Run game?! Pass-rush, coverage?!

  21. Dewey Selmon Says:

No way we can keep Winston, Barrett and Godwin.

  22. miken Says:

@lamarcus… actuall a consistanly good qb would solve a lot of problems. Jameis was horrible in the opener and a game manager in game 2. He was awesome vs the rams and no good yesterday. Had 2 picks that were wiped away and a 3rd passs that hit a saint in the face plus a fumble we thankfully recovered.
    @dre… i don’t know how hegets higher than a C.

  23. Pete I Says:

Jameis isn’t the only problem and his play has been standard Jameis, hot and cold so just sort of middling at best.

The real problem is he isn’t the solution. And a franchise QB has to be. Can’t pay this guy cap busting $ right now or perhaps ever.

  24. widerightandleft Says:

    813 Bucboi ;
We didn’t get bad Jameis ,we got bad o-line play .

  25. Dre-Day Says:

Miken i get it, i personally give the man a “b” because he has taken us on scoring drives game after game even when the o-line is getting their arses kicked. But i can’t argue a “c”. It s a sensible assessment. But to give the guy a grade of “f”???? Stupidity and pure hate.

  26. ben Says:

rated below average by nfl !! c-

It’s called a “poll”. Thanks for playing, please try again.

  28. Buccfan37 Says:

Too many games where there is more to dislike than to like but it is far more than the QBs fault.

I gave him a B, and that’s only because he has been inconsistent. In fairness, so have his blockers.

Same. He played pretty week weeks 2 – 4, yesterday was sub par but his receivers got no separation and the o-line looked like it regressed. And hey, not Dotson and Cappa are both out so that should really help things.

  30. DooshLaRue Says:

    I’m not a fan but I gave him a C.
    He’s cut down on turnovers.
Still too inconsistent for me though.

  31. July Joe Says:

More Ds than As = STUPID FANS.

#1 QB against the blitz in the entire NFL

#2 in TD passes in the entire NFL

Just 3 INTs “on him” in 5 games

1 bad game, 1 average game, 1 good game and two MVP level games = B at worst.

  32. July Joe Says:

    PAY THE MAN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  33. Morgus the Magnificent Says:

I didn’t see an “America’s Quarterback” option in the poll???

  34. Wesley Says:

    B- is the correct answer.

  35. Jean Lafitte Says:

    overall: average = C

Rams game: above average = B+

last game: below average = solid D

  36. Oneilbucs Says:

You see it doesn’t matter how good Jamies plays this fan base will blame him for ever lost this team has . So I wouldn’t even answer this question. Our defense sucks and the only topic I here is about Jamies. Man we can’t stop anybody so how do yall espect any team to win regardless who the quarterback is. The 49ers is wining with a good running game and a good defense. Old school football still wins in this league. But yall are so national media and the 49ers and the Seahawks are beating people with defense and running game now Russell Wilson is good but when you can run the ball and play defense it makes it easier to win. Go bucs…. Focus on defense and not Jamies for every lost….
