7 Inactive Bucs

Rookie receiver Scotty Miller is set for his NFL debut

Here’s today’s list of sidelined Buccaneers against the Giants:

First up is third-round pick cornerback Jamel Dean. He’s been fighting various injuries all summer.

Next up is rookie savior linebacker, the No. 5 overall pick, Devin White. His sprained knee will need at least another.

Blaine Gabbert (shoulder) is out, along with Jerald Hawkins, the offensive tackle the Bucs acquired with a trade with the Steelers about a month ago. He’ll join preseason superhero tight end Tanner Hudson, undrafted rookie guard Zack Bailey and LB Devante Bond as today’s inactive Bucs.

This all means that rookie WR Scotty Miller will be active for the first time. Joe wouldn’t bet on him seeing the field, but perhaps on special teams.

I hope to see Scotty out there as a receiver. Let’s see what the kid’s got.

You would definitely think he is active to play ST. Bond and Dean both good special teams players. Hope Miller can make an impact since he replacing impact guys.

  3. Easy Says:

If Scotty can usurp Perriman it would be nice. Jameis needs that checkdown he sorely misses in Humphries.

  4. Rod Munch Says:

Why in the world is Gabbert still on this team? He’s awful, he was outplayed, and no one else is going to sign him.

I want to see Hudson get his shot dammit

  6. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

I could have sworn I saw Jamel Dean playing today.
