Wiston has not shown enough to keep him (so far) but the excuses for him continue .

  2. Dirks Great Granpappy Says:

Comparing brees and Winston during those two years is ridiculous. Brees could go 0-16 twice and you would still keep him

  3. Loyaltotheend Section 312 Says:

Clueless Joe, is willing to wait 7-8 years for Jameis to become a quality starter

Ira, as usual is right and the Clueless Joe is wrong about another QB like he was about Manziel

  4. Anthony Dickson Says:

18 game schedule.. make season a 20 game season with 2 bye weeks for each team, one during the first half and one during the second half of the season.

I would never call Joe clueless but I agree with you on the general feeling I get from one of the Joe’s. If Jay-Miss doesn’t leap this season then it’s time to cut the cord. It seems like if it was up to one of the Joe’s he’d want the Bucs to franchise Jay-Miss as long as possible even if it means passing on far better QBs in the draft.

  6. Jim Says:

Love the highly animated discussion and adding Kate Upton didn’t hurt either. Thanks, guys…

“Cherry picking Joe” must consider the entire picture! Drew Brees is an all time great, and is one of the most accurate passers of all time.

Also, Brees didn’t show enough in San Diego and the chargers traded/drafted Rivers.

How about that? If a team can let Brees walk in FA, you for sure can not keep Jameis at this point.

I’m with the sage on this one! The entire picture Brees vs Winston- isn’t even freaking close!!!

    Drome

[Trying to get around the filter can and will get you banned. Joe’s just going to warn you, but do understand there will not be a second warning. All Joe has to do is click the goodbye button once. Don’t test Joe. — Joe] will always be known as the Clueless Joe for his unwavering support of Jameis after just one elite college game that he always references. His belief that Johnny Drunk would be a good NFL QB, that Dominik was a rockstar GM, that the Bucs needed a pass rusher in a 3-4 d more than a LB, that the Bucs need a RB more than better blocking up front…

  9. Bucs_in_Spain Says:

    1) fully guaranteed contracts – if it was a thing, all contracts would end up being shorter, see Kirk Cousins. This is still in the players interest.

    2) 18 game schedule – what about limiting a players snaps to no more than 87.5% over a season? Means everyone can play in every game, and players have the workload reduced.
