Ravens Owner Publicly Yearns For Gerald McCoy

May 30th, 2019

Hot commodity

How could an organization with just one losing season in the last 10 years be yearning for Gerald McCoy?

The legions of McCoy haters aren’t going to like this.

The good folks at ProFootballTalk.com compiled multiple reports that chronicled Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti talking about how his team needs and wants Gerald McCoy.

Perhaps this Bisciotti quote was the highlight: “I hope he goes home and tells his wife that he needs to play for the Ravens. I think he can do some damage in the backfield.”

Yes, McCoy has suitors in Cleveland and Baltimore, and maybe Carolina after his visit there is complete.

Joe is hoping the football gods drop him on the Panthers. Perhaps that would help Bucs’ offensive linemen play with an extra edge twice a year. Joe will embrace any potential advantage available.

Baltimore is a $#|+hole. Why would anyone want to live there? GMC is all talk.

  2. DI Says:

…but McCoy didn’t say anything? The Ravens owner is the one talking.

  3. DooshLaRue Says:

And maybe Mr. Bisciotti just likes big men who play with action figures.

    I’m takes all kinds.

  4. Durango 95 Says:

Tell Bisciotti he needs to flash the Bat-Signal.

  5. Succaneers Says:

players want to play anywhere but here in front of 20k fans a game, the rays suck at drawing attendance, by 2027 Tampa will be left without a MLB Team and a NFL Team

  6. Smashsquatch Says:

GMC is all about the $$ and if Bisciotti wanted him that badly he would’ve shown him the $$. All the visits suggest he’s not liking the $$ being offered. Don’t be fooled by the notion that he’s wanting to play for a winner. $$ will be the deciding factor. Market value for GMC is tbd……..

  7. Billy_43 Says:

Carolina won’t pay him more than 8, even though they free up money June 2nd for Matt Kalil.

Hoping for a mean GMC in a rival situation but will simply get a guy wanting to get paid looking for Charlotte’s best Comic Con.

  8. HowToSpellRhonde Says:

    @ BigMacAttack

Have you been to Baltimore? It’s an awesome city! Same as any city, it’s only a $#|+hole in certain hoods. With millions in the bank, GMC won’t have any troubles enjoying himself.

  9. Eric y Says:

Dumbass … when and if they sign him he’s not gonna make a difference

  10. Andrew Says:

You want him in our division? He’s be the one playing with an edge.

  11. Bird Says:

Yah. The Baltimore owner is clueless and a clown.

He is so terrible that they are practically in the playoffs every year.
Wow . The hate for McCoy is out of control.

And it’s funny to see all these new poster names out here
Why you all scared. Stick by your name

Torrey Smith just took a 2 mil pay cut.

Although I would love for McIceCream to go to a division rival I would hope he chooses the Saints. We would need the most help beat them.

  13. Buccaneerscotty Says:

Your a bunch of dumb assholes including joe!

  14. Baz Says:

He mentioned GMC and his wife, then mentions GMC “tearing up” a “backfield”…. which “backfield” we talkin’ about here?

  15. tmaxcon Says:

Are you sure the ravens want cancer93 the player or maybe they want the dancing clown for their cheerleading squad. Dance dance dance

  17. Clean House Says:

    Scotty getting feisty….
Joe must be drunk again not monitoring the room

  18. Jeffbuc Says:

Yes they want him. But for less than suh got from us. And McCoy won’t lose to suh again. And let him make more money from the team that released him. He is only going to sign with a team that will pay him more than suh got. Guaranteed. He will even sit out and wait for an injury to happen before he signs for less than what suh got

  19. Alaskan Abdominal Snowman Says:

Gerald is enjoying being the belle of the ball. Having all these teams court him and stroke his ego is what he needed after BA basically said you ain’t worth your salary.
I don’t want to see him go to a division team though. I think he will be out to prove something this year. Plus, I just think if he wants to retire a Buc that’s a kinda shady thing to do.

  20. Todd Says:

    Wonder what he does privately?!

  21. Todd Says:

Carolina ranked near the bottom of the league in 2018 in facing three-plus receivers.

McCoy, PLEASE go to the Panthers.

    (Mike Evans nods in approval.)

  22. adam from ny Says:

the owner is an investor in dc comics, and sees gmc as his new boy wonder

  23. adam from ny Says:

  26. RustyRhinos Says:

Agree with you Adam, sign on to another NFC South team and no way you retire as a Buccaneer.

  27. Youngbucs Says:
