The Lightning are clearly the best team in the NHL. By any measurable standard they are superior to the rest of the league. So, how come I criticize them when I don’t think they are playing hard enough? Is perfection the only thing that will make me happy? Granted, sometimes a player will look “down” for a game or two. But it almost doesn’t matter because someone else will pick up the slack.
Stamkos is a good example. He looked bad for a lot of the early season, but now he looks like a superstar. Kucherov’s game has been off lately, but he just scored 5 point against the Oilers. Palat is looking good after his long layoff. Vasilevskiy goes down and Domingue wins 14 games. This list goes on and on.

Far too critical of an analysis in my opinion. Might be hard to find criticism points when the team has had maintained above a 3:1 win loss ratio on the year.
