DeSean Jackson “Doubtful”

December 28th, 2018

Injury report released.

The final injury report for the final game of the 2018 season was released and the word “doubtful” is a keyword.

Both malcontent wide receiver DeSean Jackson and defensive lineman Carl Nassib are listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game with the Dixie Chicks. Joe’s going to go out on a limb and suggest Jackson has already played his last game as a Bucs receiver.

Jackson injured his Achilles last week in Dallas and he hasn’t practiced one bit this week. Not often does a player who hasn’t participated in a practice in the week leading up to a game see the field of play that Sunday. Throw in the fact Jackson is dealing with a dangerous element of the body for a speed demon like he is, Joe doesn’t think Jackson will or should risk blowing the Achilles out which just may wipe out his 2019 season whatever roster he is on.

Nassib has a bum shoulder. He too has not participated in practice this week.

Listed as questionable are defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul (shoulder/knee) and linebacker Devante Bond (illness). Both were limited in practice today.

Ok Altered, gotta admit, that was pretty funny LOL

  5. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Could we please have a few more Djax articles before the day is done?

  6. Doctor Stroud Says:

Yes, “doubtful” is more ways than one. DJax’s antics went largely unchecked because of a weak coaching staff but more importantly a weak locker room. #PaidFloridaVacation

  7. Petty Officer Buc Says:

Jason Licht must be fired for the D-Jax fiasco. An average GM would be better than the glorified College Scout known as Licht. Worse than Pop-Star Dominik at this point his record speaks for itself.

  8. Petty Officer Buc Says:

D-Jax wants a trade and is toxic to the locker room and team. If Amari Cooper got a 1st from the Cowboys and Golden Tate got a 3rd, you’re telling me that D-Jax couldn’t get a 2nd? Now we will be lucky to get peanuts.

Dumb dumb Jamies “I don’t know what happened to the play clock” Winston 2018 stats-

    15 Touchdowns
    13 interceptions
    7 fumbles
Benched 1 time for horrible performance

And you morons think djax is the problem??!!!?

Since returning into the starting QB role against the 49ers, Jameis has thrown 7 TD’s, 2 INT’s, has averaged 253.4 yards per game, and he has the highest QBR when passing outside of the pocket. On the flip side, he’s been sacked 13 times in those five games. I know you’re desperately seeking attention, but you’re the “moron” if you truly believe that Jameis is the problem.

    Altered

    That is hilarious.

Did you see joe on last desean article question someone for thinking and master gating to djax like he is Lynn swan , randy moss.

Meanwhile on here Jameis is Jesus freaking Christ . Like Brady , Montana Rodgers.
    I mean he is America

Obsessed joe has lost his mind.

Oh yeah? What about that last game he played?? Yah know, the one with Jamies fumble returned for a touchdown, Jamies fumbled hand off, and Jamies 3 delay of game penalties that cost us the game????

You guys hate me cause I’m right!!!!!!!

  19. Knack2Babbyyyy Says:

    @Bucsfan#7423

1st fumble: Winston did a nice job stepping up and getting outside of the pocket when it collapsed (like usual), he was looking to to make something happening, when in reality he should’ve of just tucked the ball and taken the easy yard that were infront of him. That one was on Jameis.

2nd fumble: Bobo Wilson just couldn’t take the hand-off properly. Earlier this week, Dirk admitted that Bobo was to blame for that mishap.

Delay of game penalties: This was the first time that the play clock has ever been an issue for Jameis. After one of the penalties were called, you can see Jameis signaling to the officials that the play-clock should’ve been pumped back up. Dirk was too afraid to lose any timeouts, while being aware of the clock.

Also, nobody hates you, but sometimes you just say some really outrages stuff. Most times I try to ignore it.

  20. bucnut2 Says:

He Knack- I’m hoping you re just posting to solicit a response because if you are REALLY serious about your defense of Winston, you have serious football IQ issues. Good luck my friend

  21. bucnut2 Says:

7423- thank you for adding some reality to this discussion.

  22. Bucs fan #7423 Says:

    Knack-

Every week Bucs do something embarrassingly stupid, do you understand now why djax is tired of this sht?????

Does djax do something embarrassingly stupid on the field?? NOPE!

But we’re gonna blame djax for getting extremely pissed off because we’re a losing team, MEANWHILE big fat softie Gerald big fat softie McCoy SMILES AND LAUGHS AND IS HAPPY while playing on a LOSING team——But joe doesn’t write any articles about how having a “happy” attitude while playing on a losing team is toxic

Do you understand now why desean is P.O.’d? Do you understand why he is not the problem? Or do you still agree with everything joe writes???

  23. Tampa Bay Demon Says:

    #7423,

You are definitely entitled to your opinions and nobody hates you.

I have to raise just 1 issue with what you just posted, though. One of the angriest moment that DJax displayed in the Bucs locker room came right after the Bucs had annihilated the 49ers 24-9. — He stormed out after that one.

Doesn’t really seem like it has a lot to do with winning and losing.

  24. Bucs fan #7423 Says:

Now that I think about it, I would love to see Joe get out there and try to run through those 3 centimeter wide holes our O-Line gives running backs before he critizied Doug Martin

    LOL

Even gale sayers said he needed 6 inches of daylight!

  25. Bucs fan #7423 Says:

    Tampa bay demon-

It’s obvious he’d already tapped out by then from all the BS he had to put up with

Just like many fans on here that still aren’t happy when we win

    Yah know… because we’re only 5-10!!!!!!

  26. Tampa Bay Demon Says:

I hear ya man, but I don’t really believe in “tapping out”, especially after a win.

I know you aren’t a JW fan, but can you really picture him “tapping out”, under any circumstance ever?

Just a thought man, but either way, good shouting with ya today
    take care

  27. Bird Says:

I just heard Desean Jackson farted on Jameis yesterday in the locker room and called him a bad name

So “obsessed joe “ has challenged him to a fight.

    One buc flag pole
    3:00 pm
    Tomorrow

Joe was rumored to say “no one farts on my man and gets away with it “

  28. Buc believer Says:

What does D-Jax have a Boo Boo on his thumb thumb poor little beee atch boy!

  29. Knack2Babbyyyy Says:

    @Bucsfan#7423

I fully understand why DeSean Jackson is upset. Jameis Winston is the guy who recruited him to Tampa, and for a vast amount of reasons it just hasn’t worked out. Now that doesn’t excuse his attitude and lack of effort. The things that he’s done, especially the incidents that Rick Stroud has recently reported on that span back to last year, aren’t the type of things that you would expect out of any veteran player, especially one in his 11th year.

As for Gerald McCoy, I don’t expect him to be back next year if he doesn’t restructure his contract. He’s a great human being, but $13M is way too much to pay an aging DT who is past his prime.

Good I am glad he is hurt and I hope career ends. Screw him and his moms

    Shocking

  32. Fire Light Says:

No fan should ever root for an injury. For your team or another team. That is pure evil. Hoping a GM gets fired is another thing. Fireee Licht!!

  33. Tampa Bay Demon Says:

^ Could not possibly agree more, Fire Light. No fan should ever root for an injury (on your team or another team). It is awful.
