Injury report update.

Two Bucs starters are ruled out for Sunday’s game with the Bengals.

The Bucs will travel to Cincinnati without two starters on the defensive line. Bucs stud defensive tackle Gerald McCoy (calf) and defensive end Vinny Curry (ankle) have been ruled out of the game per Friday’s official injury report.

Demar Dotson (ankle), Peyton Barber (knee/shoulder) and Jason Pierre-Paul (ribs), who also were on the injury report, were each full participants in practice Friday.

For the Bengals, running back Giovani Bernard, linebacker Vontaze Burfict, brittle wide receiver John Ross, corner Darqueze Dennard, tight end Tyler Kroft and linebacker Nick Vigil have all been ruled out Sunday. Center Billy Price is listed as doubtful.

I can’t think of more opposite personalities than GMC and Vontaze Burifict. Lol

  3. VegasBuc Says:

Lets see if Vea can get a push up the middle on a backup center.

    Steve K–funny–you are right!
I’m good with MCoy on the bench, hoping to see more action from JPP and Carl Nassib–both good pick ups and fun to watch!
Hopin for some Bengal turnovers. Hoping Jameis has good game along with our run game. Hoping we put Benenoch on the bench and get next man up after him–whoever it is. Like Easy says–watchin some Vea push up on a backup center. We might be in Buccaneer Cove but we still fun to watch. Just no more games like we had against the Bears.

  6. ChanEpic Says:

@VegasBuc – Are you laying any action down on that pick?

  7. pelbuc Says:

Bengals 33 Bucs 17. JW throws another 2 picks and fumbles in the 4th qtr. No faith at all in JW. Or maybe Bucs win cuz GMC is not playing. Regardless, please trade GMC before the deadline!

So many Winston haters…. It’s a shame. I think the defense continues to play inspired but the loss of Kwon will hurt. Winston will connect with Jackson for a couple big plays and the running game shows life this week. There… Take that positivity and and piss on it. Bucs still win on Sunday.

  11. Alaskan Abdominal Snowman Says:

    38-27 Bucs!
Jameis throws 4td 1int and people cry all day on jbf how he threw a pick.

  12. Ray Rice Says:

Will they travel without Geraldine McBooty? Man if they do… the sky is the limit for the DL this weekend. #93 not being on the sideline just adds to the team. No it’s all about fun talk, no leading dumb a$$$ dance routines when losing, no jumping offsides in critical game situations, no apologizing, no not making plays when it counts, no ice cream for everyone after game talk, no fake leadership, etc… all that shiznit gone. Get rid of Geraldine now!!!

  15. Bucsfan951 Says:

Am I the only one who is happy that McCoy isn’t playing so the Bucs can hopefully move on from him? His production just doesn’t seem to justify his pay.

  16. Pryda...sec 147 Says:

I think GMC is trade bait next season maybe LVD bet

  17. SchwiftyBuc Says:

    @Bucsfan951

I wouldn’t say I’m happy that McCoy is out/ not playing. But like any rational person who was paying attention the last few years, I predicted that this would likely be a bad year for Gerald.

Despite the fact that Gerald absolutely and indisputably was an excellent player for us during his physical prime, who btw had the misfortune of being the center piece of some truly awful defensive units through no fault of his own but rather the regimes who put together those awful teams, but any way; Gerald McCoy has been declining in production each and every year since turning 28 years old.

From back to back 8.5 sack seasons at 26 and 27, he’s gone from 7 at 28, to 6 at 29, and he’s now on pace to get 4 this season. There’s no question about, 93’s age is catching up to him as well as his insanely high snap count percentage/ injuries he’s played through both minor and major.

If I were the Gm of this team. Gerald McCoy would not be returning for the 2019 season. Along with Brent Grimes, Evan Smith, Demar Dotson, Caleb IcantBlock, Isiah Johnson, Riley Bullough, and several others.

  18. James Walker Says:

Grimes is retiring. So of course he is not returning. There are bucs fans here?

  19. GhostofSchiano Says:

Cataranzo with a 61 yard field goal for the win.

Don’t feel obligated to say “stud”

  21. Rod Munch Says:

The Bucs have an all-time winning record at Cincinnati – and I believe it’s the only place, including in Tampa, where the Bucs have a winning record.

They win this one. Called it before the season – said they’d beat the Eagles at home and lost at Chicago, and this is the other game that really stood out from a historical standpoint.
