Jameis is FAR from being the problem! Smitty is Dirk is and Licht is!

  2. Robert Says:

    B????

    lol

    B if we won……

We lost and he was a huge reason.

    C is being nice

but now I see why JBF loves him. He has a large following that will defend at any cost

  3. Ryan McGregor Says:

Being a QB in 2018, this is more of a pass/fail type deal, Joe. Throw all the defensive stats and other BS out the window for a second and realize that Jameis was in the red zone at the end of the game with a chance to seal it and FAILED. F!

  4. Ryan McGregor Says:

On the right side he’ll get 11 more chances to get an “A”. He needs 8 more “A”s to EARN this fans support. Hope he eats his Ws next week bc the Browns are not a joke.

  5. ben Says:

Winston is lucky only 2 picks and didn’t you like the bone head play he did at the end ..but he is great, huh?

  6. Troy Says:

He’s like the B-. He did a nice job spreading the ball around, but the two pics were costly and that final play was just scary.

  7. NPRSageBoy Says:

The only stat that counts for “franchise QBs” is the W/L record. Throw 2 red zone INT and lose gets you an F.

  8. SchwiftyBuc Says:

Me being an educated fan who actually watches the games, he gets an A. 395 yards 4 TD’s and there were DPI’s that weren’t called on either of his picks. Plus he did a phenomenal job all game long of using his god given ability to avoid pressure and extend plays with his feet and he even picked up 30 rushing yards in key situations.

Now make a poll asking me what grade i’d give to Mike Smiths defense.

  9. Robert Says:

“Me being an educated fan who actually watches the games”

    lol

stopped reading there you liberal JW nutthugger

  10. D-Rome Says:

    I graded C.

He had nice stats, but so does just about every QB in the NFL these days. Costly turnovers in the red zone are par for the course with Jay-Miss.

  11. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Love Jameis, but he earned a C at best. Would have been a D except he got the touchdowns.

F rankly, I don’t see how any objective person can give him a better grade in this game.

That said, it was his first start of the year and I think he’ll be much better in the next game.

  12. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

One of the picks cannot be blamed on him.

  13. SchwiftyBuc Says:

Lol funny that you would call me a liberal sjw just because I share a different opinion than yours. And I’ll have you know that I actually lean conservative.

  14. PolkFan Says:

Jameis and Mr.mahomes had the exact same stats with a red zone pick but I bet most people in here give him an A or a B

  15. Not there yet Says:

Joe you can’t ask fans this kind of things that’s why no one really listens to “fans” you have to pull a rabbit out of your arse, overcome bad defense and bad playcalling to get a passing grade. Dirk Koetter is a complete moron

What bothers me is he took the ball out of Winston’s hand and the hands of all the play makers by calling a damn draw play.

No attempt at getting a pass interference or jump ball but a freaking gimmick run play with the supposed franchise guy?

Then goes to the podium and says it’s hard to come up with a play to win the game from 20 yards out. Seriously that’s worse than any moronic comment from Schiano or Lovie. Go for the touchdown or PI in which case you get a penalty and one more play which could have been from the goal line but in a passing league he chose to “run” the ball something this team hasn’t done all year

  16. Duthsty Rhothdes Says:

Its pass/fail he didnt lead team to a W so who cares about the BS stats he along with the Licht regime are collosal losing organization

  17. SchwiftyBuc Says:

    @Bonzai

I don’t see how an objective fan could give him anything less than a B.

The defense gives up 21 points on 3 straight drives to start the game and 24 points in the 1st half? And the only real reason they were actually slowed down is because both Ridley and Sanu got injured?

But Jameis still generates 430 yards of offense and 4 scores. You accede that one of the picks was definitely not his fault, I assume you mean the one in the endzone where Godwin was blatantly being interfered with because thats obvious. I would also suggest that on Humphries long RAC play he should have hurdled or dove into the endzone. Which would have eliminated the possibility of getting unlucky on the goal line.

But on Jameis’ first pick on the long ball to Djax, Desean was held past 5 yards on that play, we should have gotten an automatic first down.

Jameis and Mr.mahomes had the exact same stats with a red zone pick but I bet most people in here give him an A or a B

    Probably because Jameis is bla….nevermind…

Ummm… I gave him a B. One less game changing pick and i could have given an A.

  19. D-Rome Says:

Jameis and Mr.mahomes had the exact same stats with a red zone pick but I bet most people in here give him an A or a B

    Probably because Jameis is bla….nevermind…

    Patrick Mahomes is black, fool.

  20. BuccoDav Says:

    Yeah, that’s the point, fool.

  21. stpetebucsfan Says:

And so Jameis tries to force a ball in a tight window and it hits the defender in the back of the helmet…oh and then it bounces up high in the air and into the waiting arms of a Falcon’s defender.

Later in the game Matty Ice forces a pass that is blocked at the line of scrimmage…bounces high in the air and comes down harmlessly on the field.

The difference in those two plays….THE GAME!!!!

  22. Eric Says:

Mahomes threw a horrific pick into triple coverage near the end of the first half. Right off the back foot wobble as heck.

Brady moved around in the pocket like a high school QB and was strip sacked when he clearly should have thrown it away or taken the sack.

Jamies makes a mistake and it gets amplified 100 fold.

As Dirk correctly points out it is part of the game. 4 touchdown passes and close to 400 yards passing. Pretty damn good. And if you take the last five games the man has started you will see him near the top of the league.

But, lets get rid of him.

  23. Buccfan37 Says:

These comedies of errors get old quick.

  24. SchwiftyBuc Says:

Also I really think some of yall should go revisit some of the threads post-steelers loss.

Fitz throws for 400 yards 3 touchdowns and 3 picks one of which is a pick 6, and loses the game. But according to a lot of the same fans trashing Jameis’ performance, “Fitz played great and shouldn’t lose the starting job. None of those picks were his fault anyway.”

Jameis throws for 395 yards with 4 TD’s 2 picks and 31 rushing yards. “He’s trash and should be cut or traded!”

Jameis throws a ball to his receiver who’s practically being tackled out of the endzone probably expected there to be a flag thus being a free play, the ball bounces of the back of the defenders head and bounces 10 feet in the air and unfortunately gets picked with no flag in sight. “Jameis sucks he gets an F because he threw a pick in the red zone!”

Week 3 in the Redzone, Fitz tries to throw right through a 6’5 DE who’s right in front of his face, ball bounces off the guys helmet. Ball bounces up in the air and gets picked off in the middle of the field. “Oh well the ball got tipped you can’t blame that on Fitzmagic.”

    You guys are really something.

  25. Miguel Grande Says:

    Graded B

The 1st pick was like a great punt, downed at the 1 yard line, which led to a Buc TD.

The 2nd pick in the end zone hurt bad and was a game changer. It seems to me that he locks onto a receiver before the play starts and just won’t make the smart change ro someone open.

The last play was stupid and not the fault of Jameis. DJ lost focus on that bonehead call.

Mayfield may miss next week with a bad knee.

  26. Aaron Says:

JW had one redzone interception – the other was a bomb to the 5yrd line. The Falcons went 3 and out and we scored a TD on the next drive.

Being a homer I think the interception in the endzone should have been a PI but JW has to make a better throw.

Let’s not point out the 100 mistakes the D made but let’s go over the last drive of the 1st half – 4 plays 47 yards in 25 seconds…field goal.

last drive of the 2nd half

8 plays 36 yards in 2 min and 37 seconds Plus we had to burn all 3 times out…Tip my hat to the Kicker…57 yard field goal…now down 5. Thanks Defense – we need a TD now and you gave us 70 seconds and no Time Outs.

Great last drive – not sure why Evans didn’t go out of bounds…that cost us a play or 2…and I hate the last play.

JW has to be better but who do we replace him with long term.

Fitzpatrick, Bridgewater, McCown…that’s what we are looking at…

Go Bucs! Now on to Cleveland

  27. Loyaltotheend Says:

Doesn’t deserve an A, no one does they lost

    Doesn’t deserve a B, didn’t protect the football

    C is well deserved

  28. unbelievable Says:

    Scwifty you’re spot on.

Robert has been trying really hard lately to hold the title of dumbest poster on JBF, so let him continue spewing his fake news bs. Of course he has some competition from some of the other idiots who have made claims like that end zone pick was thrown into “quadruple coverage” and other nonsense that just lets you know these people don’t understand anything about the game of football.

Not surprising though, this is one of dumbest fan bases around.

I gave Jameis a B, because an A would constitute a nearly perfect game, which he did not have. He did play well though. It should have been enough to win. I fault him for one of the picks, the other was a wacky bounce. But, he did have Hump open in the flat, and he needs to make that read.

  29. Mike Johnson Says:

Buc ball is always..playing catch up. You spot a team 24 points then try to hunt them down. ONLY..Real good teams can do that. And our Bucs ain’t one of’em!!!
