    Works for me Ray.

  6. Sharkiebucfan Says:

Headline: looming implosion at one buc.
Headline: Bucs single game tickets available after 5 game skid, cheap cheap cheap!

  7. Buc1987 Says:

You’re right Steve……no one talks about Smitty at all.

    At all.

  8. Ryan McGregor Says:

Can’t beileve the Bucs aren’t trying to score a quality RB or CB right now being on a bye week and all. Our draft picks have proven worthless anyway, might as well unload them all for proven talents.

  9. FreeTheSecretWeapon Says:

Lets hope so! I was looking for a spark from Winston in Chicago. I ended up taking a nap.

  12. richbucsfan Says:

If he wasn’t fired today, he’s staying

  13. Buc believer Says:

I have lost ALL hope and faith in this organization. I didn’t think that this day could or ever would come but they have done it. I have lived in Tampa Bay since 1981 and have been a Buc fan since then. But they have finally taken away any sense of belief in this team or hope for a better future. Thanks Bucs.

  14. BigMacAttack Says:

The new slogan on Ray Jay should be “Fire the Coach” instead of cannons, or even “My Bad”.

  15. Ndog Says:

How can this organization expect anyone to continue to support them when there is zero accountability ever. Yet Dirk talks about the fans not filling the lower bowl? Why would they come to the games so they can be like me and throw their money away only to get trashed talked to in their own stadium? Everyone knows what’s going to happen when the defense is on the field yet they won’t do anything about it. Outide of 5 games in the last 3 YEARS THIS DEFENSE HAS BEEN HORRIBLE. Why would anyone believe in this defense or staff including the players?

  16. SeattleBuc Says:

Fire Mike Smith now. Consistently worse pass Defense results. Tired of seeing average QBs have career days against us for gods sake, we suck again. Get him out of here.

  17. BigMacAttack Says:

In a few of those 5 good defensive games, Keith Tandy was the star. He was relegated to the bench and now plays for the Falcons. But we had Conte, were told how good he was/is even though many of our eyes said otherwise. We’ve also been told how great McCoy is yet his stats prove otherwise if he was lucky enough not to be injured. But he sure got. They probably could have done a straight up trade for Mack even if our GM wasn’t drinking or sleeping.

  18. D1 Says:

    NDog,

I have no idea how a HC can stand in front of the team and preach accountability when He will not hold his staff accountable . The guys in the locker room aren’t all rookies and that’s going to be a problem at some point. Rookies are manageable but veteran’s are a different animal all together. Especially, when they have been in quality organizations. They have a business approach to the game and they understand how Mike Smith is going to limit their careers and earnings. Keeping him gets DK fired and players cut .

In the meantime, the fans get fed up with the team earlier and earlier each season. Why is there any fans at all at this point, is like asking a battered wife why she doesn’t leave.

  19. ElioT Says:

    Dearly beloved fellow Bucs lovers.

We as Bucs fans (most of us life long) need to rethink what we deem “good football”.

We’ve got to think long and hard.

    Nothing has worked, nothing!

We all have to re-evaluate every aspect from the ownership all the way down to the most casual fan, and everything in between.

We’ve tried everything and it has not worked. We’ve all endured years of misery, Sunday after Sunday (sometimes Monday and Thursday too).

It seems we are cursed to deserve such embarrassment over and over again.

Am I wrong to say that perhaps we need to change what we’re doing?

Is it time to carry big f**king torches and pitch forks?

What the f**k else can the Conmish and the Carriers possibly do at this point?

What is a fan to do?

It’s time to galvanize together, stick carrier or not, if you love the Bucs and can’t sit here and watch this same old s**t, speak up!!!

  20. FortMyersDave Says:

Good point at 8:40 or so Joe when you said that the Bucs and Mike Smith has all frieking winter to fix the offense and now Koetter is saying that Smith is taxed with fixing the D in 10 days????? Yeah, right….. That’s gonna work…… I was really thinking this team could get to 8 or 9 wins this season but now it looks like the team could go Rah Morris on Smith and Koetter and end up 4-12 or so…… Simply disgusting and the Glazers ought to be ashamed of themselves for letting this happen. I feel bad for season ticket holders….

  21. FortMyersDave Says:

correction offense = defense…….. Hell at least the Lightning season starts soon, the Rays won 90 games and the Bulls are undefeated. BTW good points on the analogy with the Tedford situation, very similar with the ineptitude and the excuses……
