First off, Noah Spence is a 3-4 LB/DE. He is too small to continually lineup across from RT. He may win some battles but not very often. In a 3-4 he can line up in space and drop in coverage.

Second, If Fitz plays well, he will command a starter position, or at least starters pay. We all know that won’t happen, because of our young diaper dandy QB who expects to get his job back. Fitz will want to move on to where he can get that starting gig or he may just retire. Guarantee Licht already knows that anyway you slice it, this is Fitz’s last hurrah with the Buc’s unless Fitz is OK with backup money and or sign for peanuts.

Third, what do we do with QB R. Griffin after Winston returns? He’s not eligible for the PS. If the Buc’s do decide to turn to Jameis before or just after the bye week. I think the prudent thing to do would be to offer Fitz up for trade and make Griffin the backup.
