BSPN: It’s Fitz

September 30th, 2018

Another report of him starting today

Uber NFL insider Jay Glazer last Sunday reported backup quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick would start again today in Chicago.

Just before midnight, Adam Schefter of BSPN reported the same.

This is no surprise. What will be interesting is who will start at Atlanta after the bye.

That is, if America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston, doesn’t come out of the bullpen today if Fitz turns into a pumpkin at some point, as many people expect.

clean the food out the beard, and all systems are go!

  3. adam from ny Says:

bucs should be able to add lev bell if they want to…for a 3rd rounder and rojo…do it

    LOL

    Bell costs are too high

Plus, this team has bonded together behind Fitz………….Bell’s selfish attitude would absolutely destroy this team’s chemistry

  5. louis Says:

besides team chemistry issues, adding Bells contract would have downhill issues with the contract situations for renual…who are they going to let go if this occurs…?

  6. Hodad Says:

    Should’ve added Reid, and Breeland.

    lol

Adam Schefter’s source is really Jay Glazer. That’s how these guys do it. Because Koetter has not come out an contradicted Glazer, Adam Schefter felt safe in making the claim.

But…neither has any real insider information that is reliable. Anyone on the team, players, coaches, staff…would gladly mislead them because these are the very same guys and networks who claimed they would have no chance to win the first three games or be good this year.

So, yeah, I could see them being misled.

Also, we don’t need Bell. Barber will get the job done well enough. Koetter’s offense is not a run first offense, so it will never be great. 10-15 run plays a game is the most we can hope for, unless it is to run out the clock.

We need Bell’s talent but not his salary demands. He would instantly destroy this team. Stop thinking about it and move along.

This is what I honestly think……..

If fitz cannot handle the pass rush

…..you’ll see Jameis come in because of his better mobility/escapability

……..I just have a feeling fitz is gonna stink it up because of the bears fierce pass rush

    Can’t get ANYTHING past BSPN….lol

Who the hell cares since it’s no surprise. The media started this controversy and then tried to make it seem like we are the ones most interested in it even though they are who has to come up with content. So sick of hearing about it. If it’s no surprise why do you keep pushing national news instead actually talking about more important things. We all knew he would start on a short week with a bad schedule or come back after the bye and everyone is acting like that was possible even after all that discussion in the offseason. So fake but go ahead and keep pretending like your not doing the same thing espn is doing. This is all they talk about regardless of our record.

After the bye ok then it’s a problem that will be solved by firing Licht and Kotter if Winston is on the bench. I don’t care how he’s playing, he’s no long term solution so he can’t be responsible for getting us to the playoffs because if he sucks next year and supposedly your building for long term then it’s pointless

    Should’ve added Reid, and Breeland.

    I agree with you, Ho

Fans act like you can just add whatever free agent you want. It’s not like a tree where you can go pick whatever piece of fruit you want. What if they don’t want to come to Tampa?
