“I’ve Got Scars”

August 28th, 2018

Confession.

Joe thinks all Bucs fans can relate.

Last year just about every Bucs fan had high hopes for the season. And instead, Captain Fear blasted us in the face with a gust of passed gas.

The Bucs stunk out loud. America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston, got hurt. The season became a trainwreck and quickly circled the drain.

If not but for a glorious pass from Jameis to Chris Godwin to win the final game against the Saints, the Bucs would have been a putrid 4-12.

Peter Schrager, the fun and informed co-host of “Good Morning, Football,” seen weekday mornings on NFL Network, confessed he is so scarred from last year he purposely has tried to ignore the Bucs this summer.

Maybe, as he explained in this video below, he and his cohorts shouldn’t ignore the Bucs.

Sorry joe, the “real” fans can not relate!!!!!!!!!! In fact we saw it coming and tried to inform all way before!!!!!!! It was very easy to see where the priorities were last year and snow-balled as the year went on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I tried to warn all the sheep so long ago!!!!!!!!

    OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its another “Realist Repost”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If the owners signed up the Bucs and are forcing it on them, then that is fine!! they can sell more jersey’s and the Buc fans out west will love it!!! But I will think of the year differently!!! My expectations for the team has changed!!!! The goal of going deep in the playoffs will change to “just being national recognized”!!!!!!

In other words I will give coaches and players a huge pass this year if we do the NFL’s longest commercial!!!!!!

I do not see how this helps the team on the field, and I do not see NFL’s best head coaches lining up to be on it!!!!!!

    Go Bucs!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Doctor_berto Says:

We also would have had Chubb or Nelson if we went 4-12…

  3. Wausa Says:

Everything that could go wrong did go wrong last year.

Let’s hope the Bucs have injury luck on their side this year.
If the Bucs defense is ranked 12th-18th in the NFL this year the Bucs almost certainly will be in the playoffs.

If last years defense rears its ugly head again and the Bucs defense is ranked 28th-32nd in the NFL the Bucs will have a brand new coaching staff next year.

  4. Dewey Selmon Says:

Some of us check this site 10 times a day 365 day a year for a Bucs fix. If this guy has scars the rest of us belong in the silly center.

  5. Godeep66 Says:

Well at least he did not pick up MRSA along the way. We we will rebuild next year with new Mgmt, new coaches, and YES a new overall number one pick QB. One that can actually get on the field and stay on the field.

  6. stpetebucsfan Says:

    @Wausa

“Everything that could go wrong did go wrong last year.”

Amen brother! From HK and Swaggy to a freaking hurricane that stole our bye week to JW’s injured throwing shoulder and some of the worst luck…how often does an NFL official inadvertently kick the football near the end of the game burning off valuable seconds on the clock that may have cost us the game.

As the saying goes…if it wasn’t for bad luck we would have had no luck at all.

These things balance out so I’m looking forward to this year.

  7. Kobe Faker Says:

    Like Kobe has said…

the season was lost before the first snap

Gump couldnt let go or admit his utter failure in the Great JR Sweeney Heist. Instead of cutting this Thief he actaually lol decideded to put his best lineman in a new position center when he was learning to be an all pro guard!

for the first 5 games JW was fielding grounders from marpet. and how about that off line at the end of the year? amazingly the line played better than any part of the year when Sweezy and Marpet was out of the game

I believe even the Spanish Realist from sebring once reposted…Its the Trenches

  8. Joe Says:

Maybe Joe missed it, but he hasn’t seen Sweezy on the roster all of training camp.

  9. 813bucboi Says:

    lol…..

theres realist blaming HK instead of holding this staff accountable…..even when a staff member(monken) admits players AND coaches were drinking the Kool-Aid which made them “chose to suck”, this AH still blames a show for our 5-11 season……lol…..

    #NOEXCUSESIN2018!!!!…#PRESSURESONTHECOACHES!!!!….GO BUCS!!!!

So you saw Jameis getting hurt and Spence getting hurt and Kwon getting hurt and LVD getting hurt and Hargreaves getting hurt and Swaggy mailing it in and you saw Nick Folk falling apart? Funny that you saw all that coming as you didn’t put in your post above. Man you sure are a genius maybe we should all just stopping watching the games and only listen to what you say. Dude you think you know what you are talking about but you are probably the most clueless person on here (well that’s not true there is Godeep66 so you escaped that fate) and would you please stop saying “real fans” cause what exactly makes someone a “real fan” besides your gigantic ego?

  11. 813bucboi Says:

    from SI sports:

Five of the 12 teams documented improved their record in the season immediately following the show, five finished with a worse record and the last two had exactly the same record. In addition, five of the 12 teams made the playoffs in that next season – but four of those five teams already had winning records the season before HBO showed up. What all that means is there’s no, well, hard evidence that having Hard Knocks around helps or hurts – but it certainly can’t hurt the Browns, who have one total win over the last two seasons and are fresh off the fifth winless season in NFL history.

so realist, tell me again how having HK hurts your team?…..wheres the hard evidence?…..and if you don’t want to have HK at OBP, tell dirk to do his job and get us to the playoffs…..simple as that!!!!!!

you just got exposed once again!!!!!!!

    #NOEXCUSESIN2018!!!!…#PRESSURESONTHECOACHES!!!!….GO BUCS!!!!

  12. Dirks Great Granpappy Says:

Oooo, realist, you need some aloe for that burn?

  13. Bucsfanman Says:

    Different language, same Realist!
I heard Realist(o) is giving the coaching staff a “pass” because Vinny Curry had to buy his own fan! True story!

  14. Brandon Says:

Hey, here’s a Brandon repost in response to the Realist repost—

    Who the EFF cares?

  15. Blind Melon Says:

This Schrager ‘scars’ thing carried on to the top 5 receivers segment too… Mike Evans in the group, and Schrager was pinged by Brandt about the Bucs… lol

  16. Buc1987 Says:

    Realist has “scars”. lol !!!!

    Ndog….Yikes buddy!!!! 🙂

    Welp…tis JBF comments section!!!!

Try explaining it to peeps that have never been here before….you can use Realist as one of the numerous examples of the zoo that is….

    Ahhhhh home!!!!

  17. BigPoppaBuc Says:

I’ve been telling myself since the draft to not get all geeked for the season like I did last year. The off-season moved were nice. But we’ve been down that road before. The preseason games have sucked me right back in..lol. I’ve watched closely and I really do see an improved team that has the talent to hang with the best. Now we just need to see them get hit in the mouth in hopes that they’ll actually hit back. Schrager keeps saying we got tougher, but that’s yet to be proven. That being said I’m pumped for the season and GO BUCS!

    —————

Sure, but Licht also would not have found the leverage to trade back like he was able to, and land us bonus picks–which, I might add, he appears to have connected on!

  19. Lucious Selmon Says:

“If this guy has scars the rest of us belong in the silly center.”

Yes, Dewey! In the Silly Center–since 1976!
