Beckwith And His Rehab

May 3rd, 2018

Update.

Good news spoken by Lavonte David on the status of fellow linebacker Kendell Beckwith.

Beckwith, just days before offseason conditioning began last month, was involved in a one-car accident back in Louisiana and fractured an ankle which needed surgery.

Joe was scared to death as no further details were released. When information is not shared, it invites speculation and Joe wondered if Beckwith had maybe shattered an ankle, which could put his career in jeopardy.

Still, no update on Beckwith’s ankle has been released but David pulled back the curtain a bit. It seems Beckwith, per David, is back at One Buc Palace doing what he can to workout and study despite being stuck in a personal scooter to move around.

Joe thinks it is safe to assume that Beckwith’s ankle may not be too severe if he was able to travel to Tampa and is doing some conditioning at One Buc Palace.

Hope he gets back Beckwith > Kwon at MLB in this defense

Joe I love you but I think drawing any info from this is a reach. I’m sure bad or not they wanted him here for team doctors to monitor the healing. No matter how bad the fracture was he could still fit in Glazer’s private plane.

Well we have insurance between the new 6th round dude and Bond/Glanton.

    Nice to have depth.

Kwon needs to definitely shore up his tackling consistency but for every whiff the guy makes some kind of crazy turnover/brilliant play. He really is the Jameis Winston of the defense in that sense lol

Not what you are thinking. Not a Walmart or Publix scooter. Looks like a small kids’s wagon with a padded seat. Players kneel on the seat of the scooter with their affected leg and use the healthy leg to push around or “walk” with.

Saw Charles Sims buzzing around using one of those his rookie year. Can’t remember the assistant coach last year or perhaps two years ago that blew out his Achilles but he was still coaching as he used to scooter to move around during practices.

Feel for Beckwith, he’s a gutsy player. Broken ankles that require surgery can take awhile to heal, but hopefully he heals quickly once again. Read BTW where Glanton has changed his last name to Taylor, and that’s what the Bucs’ roster reflects. News to me, but whatever floats his boat.

All of this speculation in regards to Beckwith’s ankle is a concern, but Jason Licht took care of us. In the 6th round, pick #202 he drafted Jack Cichy. It is just a matter of time till he makes his debut. I am confident he will impress all of us.

Jack Cichy – just watched this highlight video of Jack – damn this kid can ball! I had no idea.

Classic – in the first clip – that’s ROJO he blows up. Whoops!

I like Cichy also. He’s so damn fast at getting to the ball handler. Sick blitzer. Very nice depth possibly a starter down the road.

  13. SOEbuc Says:

Write us a couple nice articles on Cichy and Watson Joe. Ivy league or not, Watson is a monster and looks like the real deal.

Joe could you please do me a favor. Can you please grab your binoculars and get back into the Bush you use during draft season across the street from Ole One Buc. I’d really like to know if or when Kendell is walking on that ankle. Don’t worry about taking a pic I’ll take your word for it.
