Watch Vita Vea

April 28th, 2018

On Friday, Vita Vea made his first trip to Tampa and One Buc Palace as a member of the Bucs (unofficially, that is).

Vea also made his first appearance in front of the Tampa Bay pen and mic club for his introductory press conference. You can watch the full video below courtesy of Buccaneers.com.

Big? Check, Strong? Check, Humble? Check. Still learning? Yes!!!! I hope this fan base will embrace this gentle giant. I don’t know how long it’s been since I’ve been wishing for a DT like this, but its been a very long time. He has GMC to learn so much from. And for the GMC haters? You’re sick! Would you rather have Dumb A$$, wishes he was a gangster, phony curb stomping, laundry drawing, gets booted and no one really wants to deal with his stupid a$$ Suh? And for the Derwin James fanbase. Sorry, I just don’t see the hype. He’s good, but at the next level he could very well go from “Dewin James” to I sell Sherwin paints for a living” very fast. Vea is from a culture most of you don’t know and will most likely soak in every single thing he’s taught. I absolutely embrace this pick and am so glad Miami passed. All I gotta say is…Mount Vea…..welcome to Tampa! When the trenches are built, the team is built. And Vea just solidified the foundation for this line to wreak havoc!

He’s needs to tell Kwon about Sapp.

Meant, “Vea is from a culture most of you don’t know and he will most likely soak in everything he’s taught”. Anyway, From the west coast, Go Vea!!! Go Bucs!!!

We know have the best D-line in the NFC to go along with the best starting LB’s in the NFC … I don’t care if the defensive backfield is “below average”, if Mike Smith can’t have this defense in the top half of the league, he will have nothing to whine about when he’s fired at the end of the year!

Great pick. Can someone break down in plain simple English the trades that happened tonight? And please no overall number, just round and pick of that round and/or future picks. Thanks, I need it simplified, I wasn’t able to watch tonight’s rounds. Thanks again

Got our Beast! Welcome to Tampa Big V! I promoted you here (like crazy) as did some others, but us early ones were just a handful. Those not on board will get it eventually, or they wont (cant fix stuck on stupid).

We used our first two 2nd rounders, traded our last one to NE for their 2nd, then we traded back into the bottom of the 3rd using one of our 4th’s.

    We still have a 4th, a 5th, and two 6ths ( i think).

  8. Capt.Tim Says:

This big man is gonna shut down a bunch of running lanes!!
Gonna chase RBs out to our Lbers!!
He brings a dimension to our defense, that we’ve never had before.
Cant wait to see him and Big Beau Allen , Lined up next to Gerald McCoy.

Our D-line should be great this year.
And Ive had to wait 15 years to say that!!!

  9. JA Says:

Love this pick and Ronald Jones. Jones is a human highlight reel!!
Guess Jones got lost in all the Sam Darnold hype. Love the way Jones runs over people. One long run for the Bucs will make this guy the toast of TB.

  10. ARGH_M8E Says:

Now draft Ogbonnia Okoronkwo DE Oklahoma or Shaqeem Griffin

  11. Architek Says:

So happy with this pick man!!!

Substance – that’s all we asked for over flash and style.

Now coach these kids up Mike Smith !!!!

  12. Mike Johnson Says:

I really like this kid and wish him a lot of success. His film..Jumps right out at you. I suspect they will have him lose 20 pds or so though. Get him at about 305 or so. Maybe not. They are giving DC Smith all the tools he needs to succeed. No excuses for this Defense Buc Fans.
