And the Bucs will have a dynamic offensive – the likes of which this city has never seen nor dreamed of before. We will have an IDENTITY.
The Defense will feed off the offensive success… maybe – LOL

Just get one of the Big-3 in the 1st Rnd Jason. If they’re taken by #7, trade down and get 3 picks in the first 2 Rnds. If you can’t make that happen, take Fitzpatrick or Ward or James or Vea at #7. Above all else, please fill our PRIORITY NEEDS in this draft (CB, RB, OG & SS) with the BPA at the time who meets those needs.

If there is anyone to trade back with the Bucs should look into it – but since the teams behind the Bucs don’t need QBs it’s cheaper to trade with them than with the Bucs so I doubt the Bucs move – but won’t rule it out obviously.
Seeming pretty obvious it’s James – not my favorite pick but at this point not sure there will be anyone else worth taking that high. Don’t rule out Davenport however, that deal of stacking guys, like VH3 and Grimes, well JPP and Davenport are in that same category. Not saying it will happen, but I wouldn’t be surprised either.

Not sure Vea is a good fit for the Bucs – he doesn’t seem like a 4-3 tackle, isn’t a pass rusher, hope it works out but seems like a 3-4 guy playing out of position which is often a disaster and makes him a 2 down player.

Bonzai – if Vita is starting it means the Bucs blew another FA move on Allen. Not saying that’s a terrible thing, Kwon came in and beat out Bruce Carter after the Bucs gave him a big deal and that worked out OK. But rookie defensive lineman rarely do much. I personally don’t like taking a NT and playing him out of position, it just doesn’t work out historically, but I’d love to be wrong.
Anywho doesn’t matter what I think, hopefully it works out.

Allen only got a three year deal, and only the first year in guaranteed. He can be cut next year with no penalty.

What’s the difference between Lamar Jackson and Quentin Flowers? Watching them play I’d say very little. The Bucs should keep an eye on Flowers with the idea of getting him as a RB, I doubt he gets drafted so no reason not to sign him. But while it would be as a RB, I’d still give him a chance to show a little as a back-up QB, he’s an incredibly exciting player and the type of guy an OC should design some plays for.

I also think it’s 100% obvious if no trade offers came in, Licht would have taken Viti Vea at #7, as when the #12 rolled around both Vea and Derwin James were still available and Licht took Vea … so … Licht got two 2nd round picks and still got the exact player he would have taken at #7 … JASON LICHT DOMINATED THE 1ST ROUND!

Now, with the (3) 2nd rounders … I’d expect us to take 3 of the following 5 positions: RB, CB, OG, OT or SS
I honestly wouldn’t be all that surprised if Licht refuses to draft a safety if he plans to sign either Tre Boston, Kenny Vaccaro or Eric Reid.
If we are going for trench warfare, how about Will Hernandez + Nick Chubb + Orlando Brown? I’d be cool with that trio of 2nd rounders.
If we’re going defense heavy, how about Joshua Jackson + Ronnie Harrison + Anthony Averett. I’d be okay with that trio as well.
Regardless, Bucs fans should be thrilled with GM Jason Licht and more excited for the 2nd round than they were for the first … and oh yeah … ya’ll should know to trust me … Saquon, Chubb, Nelson or trade down for a King’s ransom … it worked to perfection just like I said it would!

We gotta get a DB next and since my man crush, Sony Michel, is gone we gotta get the speedy and shifty Nyheim Hines. Forget Guice, he has not impressed me with his play. One cut move, one spin move, and he had a pretty lackluster combine. Ronald Jones – no thanks. Get a DB first and then get Nyheim Hines or vice versa depending on draft board. He can be our Alvin Kamara – kick returns, RB, and out in the slot.

Need to land Isaiah Oliver, CB, from Colorado. He js going to be the best corner whwb akl is said and done. Has the size to matchup with Julio Jones, Michael Thomas, etc. for years to come.
