Buccaneers Returned To Work This Morning

April 16th, 2018

Back in the house

Damn, Joe is fired up!

Vacation is over and a subtle scent of real football is in the air. And one hell of an exciting week is here.

It’s always a work day for Joe, but it’s not always a work day for the Buccaneers. In fact, today is the first official work day of the new year for Bucs players.

They report back for duty today as the two-month process of offseason workouts begin, ending in mid-June with a three-day mandatory minicamp. Right now, conditioning and eventual no-pads practice sessions are optional. Hopefully, DeSean Jackson will exercise that option a little less this year.

Joe will be at One Buc Palace today sniffing things out. The 2018 NFL schedule should be released on Wednesday or Thursday. And general manager Jason Licht’s pre-draft news conference is set for Thursday.

Players arrived this morning and the Buccaneers Tweeted out some peeks at a ripped Noah Spence, a happy Vernon Hargreaves, Peyton Barber and more.

Welcome back! Time to get to work.

Spawn taking out his frustrations of missing the whole season in the weight room apparently.

as DB55 once said, spence came in last year looking like Hercules big brother…..looking good and jacked up aint been the problem…..I hope he’s healed up….we need him badly…..

  9. JL47 Says:

Oh look, Hargreaves still treating his job like a joke. Guess what bud, being drafted in the first round doesn’t guarantee a roster job

  10. Not there yet Says:

He’s always been ripped but don’t care much about his arms if the shoulder can’t hold up. He’s a lightweight for a defensive end but wishing health to Spence and hoping we don’t have a injury plagued season hey maybe they just need a tougher practice

You must really hate your job huh JL47? Lol Hargreaves can’t smile his first day back to work??? Sheesh! I GUARANTEE he is not the only guy smiling at One Buc Place today!

813…tough practices are long..long gone thanks to the last player union agreement….hell they don’t even have enough soft practices…the last agreement was counter productive to the development or individuals and teams….Ray Perkins 3 a days…and I watched them, was one extreme and 2018 is the other…

  14. BringBucsBack Says:

Hargraves actually looks tall in this picture.

  15. teacherman777 Says:

Hargreaves is a very sweet dude.

His father is a division I football coach. Arkansas now.

His father will not let him fail the next seasons.

Lots of first round CB’s have issues.

But is VHIII a hard worker? Is he tough? Or soft and spoiled?

Is he tough like Ronde Barber? Does he study like Ronde Barber? Will he tackle like Ronde? Is he fearless like Ronde?

Ronde is our CB icon. Our cornerback demigod.

It’s hard to live up to a guy who was a badass until 37!!! lol

well the jags were noted for having a tough physical TC…..worked wonders for them…..philly too….rams also….a few other teams fall in that category…..

im not saying 2-a-days but at least play hard and physical during team drill….allow some tackling to the ground…..that would cut down on all the missed tackles that were happening early in the season……

that also builds mental toughness…..imo, that’s the best way to perfect your craft….you cant perfect everything going half or 3/4 speed because in the game, players are going full speed…..

Noah is lookin jacked like usual. But compared that picture on the beach last year when he was all cut up, this pic he’s lookin monsterous and also looks like he has put on more wait. This pleases me.
