Oh, No

December 21st, 2017

Depressing.

You might have to start chomping down a handful of Tums after reading this.

Yes, the Bucs are not making the playoffs. Again. Haven’t since 2007. It’s really disgusting.

How disgusting? Well, if the Rams make the playoffs — they only need one win to clinch a division — the Bucs will have the longest playoff drought in the NFC. That’s how bad it is.

The Rams haven’t played a playoff game in a dozen seasons. The Bucs? You know how long.

So if the Rams win one of their next two games, or sneak in as a wild card, the Bucs officially will have turned into Cleveland South.

Merry Christmas!

  1. Season Is Over Says:

That is what happens with Dirk “We were done by Halloween” Koetter.

  2. DoSomething Says:

    Ownership.

  3. Jason Says:

Better get use to it because as long as Koetter is head coach no playoffs is the future going forward.

  4. ShutTheBucUp Says:

Sneak in as a wildcard? Lol Joe the Rams are in complete control of their division. They have no use for wildcards.

  5. DBS Says:

This long is not on 1 damn coach. it is on the owners.

  6. Tampabaybucfan Says:

No……It’s GMC….(according to Tmax)……such a very powerful superhuman…..causing the other 52 players from multiple seasons to fail….taking multiple coaches and a couple GMs with him along with the ownership…..all of this while fooling the Media, other NFL players, coaches and fans therefore winning multiple trips to the Pro Bowl.

Very, very powerful indeed…….Tmax, you idiot.

  7. Mcruzer Says:

I am calling out Dave Kennedy, our strength and conditioning coach. Our guys getting trucked over, linemen being manhandled, inability to bring people down and injuries galore.

  8. JonBuc Says:

Good I say….this is what rock bottom looks like. I sure wish Debartolo was buying the Bucs away from the Bros. Amish instead of making a bid on the Panthers.

  9. AlteredEgo Says:

Hilarious….sure they could have won a few close games but at the end of the day the Bucs simply do not have the talent to be much more than they have played…blame?….blame your selves for being unrealistic

  10. DBS Says:

You must remember. in one breath tmax will blame GMC. Then in the next he will blame the “Glazer Clowns”. Just so he is always right.

  11. '79Defense Says:

Please stop with that kind of headline and intro Joe. I thought it was going be another Uber type negative bombshell about Winston. Seriously.

  12. Bucsfanman Says:

    D’oh!!!!
Is it too early to start doing shots?!

  13. BUCMAN Says:

THE GLAZERS HAVE NO ONE TO BLAME BUT THEIR SELFS , FOR HIRING COACHES THAT WAS NEVER A PROVEN WINNER AS A HEAD COACH , THEY REALLY NEED JON GRUDEN BACK TO RIGHT THE SHIP WHERE HE LEFT OFF OR HIRE A PROVEN COACH THAT IS A WINNER…….

  14. 813bucboi Says:

we’ll be a lot closer to making the playoffs once dirk is sent packing!!!!!….GO BUCS!!!!

  15. Bill Byrne Says:

Jon Gruden…Raheem Morris…Greg Schiano…Lovie Smith and now Dirk Koetter! Ownership decisions over the last ten years and failure to produce a winner is totally on them. Cleveland South really hurts Joe!

  16. mp813 Says:

@Tampabaybucfan Glad you called him out on his bs.

  17. Eric Says:

Thank you too all the morons who ran Chucky out of town.

  18. Eric Says:

Thank you Glazer boys for listening to Michael Clayton.

  19. Bucsfansince76 Says:

Alot of this is on ownership, they need to bring in a consultant to review the total operation of the organization. The losing culture will not change until they do. Coach Dungy was the only one that changed it in the history of the franchise. All I ask as a fan is to watch a competitive each week.

  20. BigMacAttack Says:

Cleveland would beat the Bucs if they played. The Bucs are the worst in the nfl

  21. Patrick in VA Says:

So, the franchise has the long and storied history of being bad in an epic way and it’s somehow the fault of the guy who is the coach that’s been here for almost 2 years? It’s a systemic issue. It’s an ownership issue. It’s a culture issue.

  22. ClwJB Says:

Maybe the NFL could enact a “win for #1 draft pick” round robin with the 4 worst record teams…probably the only way we are playing after week 17 for the foreseeable future…

  23. ClwJB Says:

^^^what he said, it’s so much deeper than the coaching obviously – kind of like when we trotted out Leeman Bennett/Ray Perkins/Richard Williamson/Sam Wyche….cumulative record for that bunch 40-125 over a 10 year span….sound familiar??????

  24. Mord Says:

Chucky is sure getting a lot of rose-colored hindsight here

  25. Clodhopper Says:

We’re already the Browns of the south. We’re so bad the Browns call themselves the Bucs of the north!!

  26. nole4JabooANDdBucs Says:

This is also the toughesr division! Once we get there we will not turn it loose! Patience, GRASSHOPPERS!

  27. derrickbrooksforGM Says:

    @Clodhopper pffft hahahaha

  28. GhostofSchiano Says:

I see the NFC championship game being the Rams vs the Eagles.

    AFC – Patriots vs Steelers.

Too close to call after that

  29. darin Says:

    Dbs
Youre right its not one 1 coach. Its on all the coaches. If u wana put the soft teams bad play on ownership feel free. Only fault they have is picking the wrong coaches. Hopefully theyve learned n will find a good one to be here the long haul this time. I know for sure itll be a head coach who doesnt like to play patty cake during camp.

  30. Nate Says:

it IS on the owners…..for picking the WRONG scoring an avg of 20 points sorry playcalling COACH

    RIGHT this with Gruden

  31. not there yet Says:

That’s what happens when you hire coaches that no one else waits as your head coach.

  32. Bucsfanman Says:

    @Clod- LMFAO!!!!! Well done sir!

  33. bucfan999 Says:

GRUDEN & RYAN = Playoffs next season

  34. Nick2 Says:

Hey Joe any special teams coaches in the college ranks the Glazer’s have their eyes on to replace Koetter??? Surely theyve fallen in love with some one by now who can keep us in the gutter another 2 years!
Tell us who it is Joe!!!

  35. Mike Johnson Says:

Well at least we have one winner in our state of FL..Come on guys. lets give a shout out to them..JAG_WARS!! DON’T HATE!!!. Besides they are not even in our Divsion. I am rooting for them simply because they are from florida. We gotta let the Big Fl get recognition some kinda way..right? Cause our Bucs are bottom feeders don’t mean we cannot support J-Ville. Congrats to them. Playoff bound for the 1st time in YEARS!!!

  36. Nick2 Says:

Being a Bucs fan I am proclaiming the playoffs are an NFL consipiracy that never actually happen. They are filmed every year in some studio set in Hollywood using Hi tech camera equipment much like the apollo moon landing!!!!

  37. chickster Says:

    THE CULVERGLAZERS

  38. StPeteBucsFan Says:

    Cleveland…the mistake by the lake.

Cleveland’s weather forecast the next ten days shows ONE…only ONE day where they’ll see the sun. The remaining days are all just socked in…one giant grayout!

Thanks heavens we’ll never be depressing Cleveland. They do have better baseball than us though.

  39. HolyBuc Says:

I think the scouting issue started under Bruce Allen and he was replaced by homegrown Mark Dominik who was part of the problem. It really set the franchise back in regards of talent. Jason Licht has improved the college scouting but his pro scouting staff is garbage. We also have a coaching issue with Koetter he has reached his ceiling. We have talent we need coaching. I’m torn on Licht I like some parts of his draft but he has had his misses and doesn’t seem like a good team builder.
