You hear him talk ball and it’s hard not to be confident but then you watch the games and you’re like wtf man. Doesn’t help that he’s got the demeanor of little red ridding hood’s grandmother on the field.
Then you look at the def and asst coaches on offense and *facepalm
I’d attempt to bring in Rex and Gruden as coordinators, I know the experts scoff at that notion but really wtf do they know?

I would love to hear the logic of the people who vote Totally Confident.
Meanwhile this team just played back to back games where they gave up 80 passing yards to a backup QB and lost and then they let a good QB who reportedly didnt have feeling in his throwing hand earlier in the week throw for 380 and complete 80% of his passes.
And the offense still cant score more than 25 in a game.
No confidence.

Get a dynamite RB like Saquon Barkley, and watch this team explode, look at Jax and Dallas, Jax has a similar turnover prone QB, Dallas has a weak defense, a stud RB opens up play action and keeps the defense off the field, gets you explosive plays in the run and screen game, takes the pressure off the young QB, our crap record puts us in position to get Barkley with the other lower teams needing QBs it’s always draft season in Bucs land

Combined with a mediocre defensive backfield?
Then mix in prob the 18th best qb and a pedestrian run game?
I just don’t see 10 wins with that combo man.

Can’t have a decisions like starting Martin over Barber and be confident. Cutting Reedy, yet he’s good enough for the reigning SB champs. Can’t do it, can’t be confident with those types of decisions.

fix the lines and then the sheep will “regain” the confidence!!!!! In 2015 the cowboys went 4-12 and did not fire anyone!!!! they drafted a rb and fixed the line and went 13-3 in the following year!!!!!!!
I also like when Joe says that they should have come up with some kind of pass rush by now!!!! Well when Joe can teach a cat to bark like a dog, then I will hold Coach Smitty to the same standard!!!!!!!!! These coaches will get a pass from this year, and I stated when this team was (penalized) with,,,,,,,,, I mean awarded hard knocks!!!!!!!!!!!

I’ll say one thing. Joe uses phrases like “Fans will chuck beer bottles across the room” if something happens.

The problem I have with Dirk Koetter is not the playcalling. My main concern is his refusal to play the young guys. Lovie Smith started 6 rookies ( every down starters) during his two seasons here. During Dirk Koetter two seasons here, he has started only one rookie as an every down player ( VH3) and then he was demoted to a part-time role. It’s not like this roster is loaded with Pro-Bowl players. The starters on this team has played like crap this season. Yet the young guys sits on the bench. This is really dumb, it don’t make an ounce of sense. They was going in the right direction with Lovie Smith. The young players were playing and progressing. Now the young players that was progressing under Lovie has regressed. And the rookies that have been drafted during Koetter two seasons here can’t really be evaluated, because they haven’t seen the field enough.

75% little to no confidence. #FireDirk #BringBackGruden. Funny to see fans once again begging for early round skill position players…OUR D-LINE SUCKS, that is why our record is garbage. Draft a pass rusher or 3, bring in a true center and move Marpet back to guard.

Not sure how anyone can defend Dirk, the offense (the only think he puts his hands on) has gotten progressively worse over the last two years, that’s a problem! Winston needs an offense that does not focus on downfield passing (you know, where he is least accurate) but instead works off 3 to 5 step drops, getting the ball out quickly and letting his receiver’s pick up some YAC.

So far there are 30 people trolling the rest of us saying they are “Totally Confident”. How can anyone be totally confident in a head coach, a supposed “offensive guru” who’s team has averaged under 20ppg over the past three seasons?
I have no confidence in Irk Koetter. As far as I’m concerned starting Drug Martin instead of Peyton Barber this past Sunday should have sealed his fate. That being said I was really rooting for the guy to succeed this year.

WE CANNOT blow this up again after only 2 years… 4 straight coaches hasn’t taught us anything???
Give him another year and let’s bank on consistency, because changing regimes hasn’t worked.
… Now if you want to send off Licht into the sunset, that’s a different story.

It’s hard for me to believe that Jason Licht had all the say in player selection whether via draft or free agency, you have to consult with the HC at least if not more coaches, so to put all the blame on one guy is unfair.
On the contrary Licht has nothing to do performance on the field , that’s on coaches.

My confidence in dirk is going waaaaaaaaaay down. Never thought I’d say that. But he’s changed. He’s dodging questions with indirect answers and he’s doing it because he doesn’t want to give the real answer. Mike Smith is going to get destroyed these next three weeks. I believe that although Koetter knows Smith’s defense is failing the entire team, he will stay loyal to his friend and go down with the ship.
Sucks….I had high hopes for this guy but he can’t handle the responsibility.

I want him to stay and Smith to go….No more zone based defense please and draft a couple top Dlineman, a center, move Marpet back to guard, and corner. Tell ya right now Grimes aint coming back here unless someone that can run a defense is hired.

Don’t know if this is the place to post this but here ya go!!!! Heard this morning on a Sports Talk Radio Show that the Buccaneers have but only ONE pass play either for yardage or Touchdown I’m not sure what they said for 50 yards or more!!! The pass was to OJ HOward. They were talking about the amount of money paid to Jackson this year and how he has been misused as a Receiver. So all you Haters on the Bucs Defense need to also include the Bucs Offense as being a reason for the Hell Season all us Buc Fans have had to endure. That goes totally on IRK KOETTER!!!!! His ass needs to be run completely out of Tampa. Yesterday would not have been soon enough!!!!
