Homecoming Week

November 8th, 2017

Welcome back.

Ah, it almost brings back memories of back seats in cars and guzzling cheap beer and lousy vodka.

It’s Homecoming Week. Not for the Bucs, hell no. It’s Homecoming Week for Stewart McClown and ASJackwagon, two notorious Bucs in the sorry post-Chucky era.

McClown was supposed to be the Tampa Bay savior, handpicked by Lovie Smith. Yet he was a garish failure who nearly single-handedly scarred people for life watching him play quarterback with picks, fumbles, overthrows, underthrows and just horrid football.

ASJackwagon? What is there to say? He got run from underwear football practice, went Capt. Morgan with the football (drawing a critical penalty that helped set up a loss), and went all Bob Gibson in St. Louis fastballing a football in rage against the Rams’ stadium wall — and instead of a first down on the goal line the Bucs were backed up thanks to the unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. Then there was his high-stepping to the end zone trailing by 30-something points in the fourth quarter, and his famous DUI video where, wearing a moth-eaten shirt, he told the arresting officer he had to defecate in the worst way.

For some reason it was all so fitting. Shat and ASJackwagon went hand-in-hand.

The Jets, who strangely actually wanted these two, still have hopes of a playoff run dancing in their heads with a 4-5 record, though still in last place in the AFC North.

With the current luck of the Bucs, McClown, facing the vaunted Bucs pass rush (what edge rush?), will have so much time in the pocket he can balance his checkbook and hit a streaking ASJackwagon, who prances across the goal line high-stepping as time runs out for yet another loss at the Den of Depression.

Joe’s going to guess since Bucs fans have just about washed their hands of the team in disgust, the Jets will actually be playing a home game Sunday in front of 30,000 Jets fans while about 15,000 diehard Bucs fans will show up, mostly because they already paid for the tickets.

I bet ASj comes in here and has…10 catches! Then Gloats at the Bay area cameras and say, I told Y’all so. Why not..Everybody else has done it. We cannot protect Ray Jay no more than North Korea could once our bombs hits! Old Man Josh McCown is..chompin at the bit to get to us. Sad..but True. Make sure YOU..have plenty of libations on hand to stomach this..event.

  2. Dusthty Rhothdes Says:

ASJ will go off and do the Jolly Rancher TD dance 3x, just like when donald penn lit up the bucs secondary and spit in lichts face

  3. DB55 Says:

You know maybe possibly it’s not all these players who are the dummies maybe possibly it’s Tampa. Ever consider that?

At some point you have to look in the mirror and ask yourself are you a dumbass? If the answer is no ask again then rinse and repeat.

  4. Lakeland Says:

I got the Jets by 10

  5. Greg Says:

This one will be the straw that breaks the camel’s back

  6. Greg Says:

Joe says “about 15,000 diehard Bucs fans will show up, mostly because they already paid for the tickets”—I think the actual number of bucs fans there will be much lower than that!

In other news Calais Campbell is on pace for 22 sacks. It’s cool, we didn’t need him anyway.

  8. 813bucboi Says:

    we’ll see….GO BUCS!!!

  9. D-Rome Says:

The Bucs lost their offensive coordinator prior to the start of the 2014 season. Josh McCown played as hard as he could given the situation. He sacrificed his body and was killed behind an offensive line that featured Oneil Cousins, Garrett Gilkey, and Anthony Collins. I’m not sure why he’s a clown to you considering he’s had a much better year than Jameis.

As for ASJ how is it he can turn it around in NYC but not in Tampa? I’ll tell you how. It’s once again an organizational failure. Reminds me of how things ended up with Aqib Talib.

You can be sure I’ll be starting both McCown and ASJ in my DraftKings lineup for cash games. They may end up having career days against this pathetic team that has quit.

  10. DBS Says:

Ever notice when the trouble makers leave Tampa they don’t get in trouble with other teams? And McCown was a tank year. That was set up anyway so who cares right??

  12. Joseph Mamma Says:

Yeah why would the Jets want a second round draft pick TE that has loads of talent for basically nothing. What a dumb move that was bringing him in. I mean he’ll never have the character and maturity of someone like Jameis.

Joe, I am very disappointed that you chose this picture of ASJ to highlight your article. I understand that it is what it is, but at a time where African Americans are always publicized as criminals, especially in the sports arena, for you to post this picture, of all pictures, of ASG, we in the AA community find it as tasteless as and unprofessional as the Mike Evans hit on Marshawn Lattimore last week. I got it, it’s your blog and you can post whatever you like and make no mistake, I am an avid reader daily, but from what I am hearing and reading, ASG is trying to turn his life around and is a vital part of the Jets offense. He made some mistakes in his Buccaneer past but is doing his best to clean up his act in New York. His Buccaneer past is in the past. How bout writing something about his turnaround instead of digging up his past? (BTW, I point him out because he is the subject of your article. I would apply this to anyone in sports regardless of color, who is trying to turn their life around and always seem to be brought down)
Joe has written several times of ASJ’s turnaround. It’s in the archives. That said, his Bucs history, is miserable and marred by his police escapades. Joe’s not hear to play cheerleader for a guy now coming in here looking to embarrass his old team, the Bucs. –Joe

Sad to say ASJ had his amazing moments. Anyone remember game 1 ATLANTA he goes superman flying one handed catch in the 4th quarter, really don’t understand the Koetter offense with OJ HOWARD barely even targeted. Oh yeah I think that Godwin guy is pretty good too, one target per game.

  15. Chris@Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa Says:

LOL, welcome back Joseph Mama !
The Jets, yes the Jets, just beat the dog snot out of Buffalo, who beat us.
Call me a die hard homer if you want, but I just don’t see them beating us, at home.
Maybe if the game was up in Jersey, but not here in Tampa, no matter how many Jet’s fan show up.

Hopefully, we start Barber, and run the ball right down their throats, wear down their pass rushers.

  16. tmaxcon Says:

hopefully jameis and evans can escape the clown circus that is tampa bay buc organization. Those two guys deserve a shot at winning so hopefully they get a chance to move on to a real franchise that cares about winning.

  17. mike10 Says:

    Look at that shirt!

Did he get scooped up for working the streets of Nebraska ave. late at night?

  18. jim burns Says:

“Yet he was a garish failure who nearly single-handedly scarred people for life watching him play quarterback with picks, fumbles, overthrows, underthrows and just horrid football” …….. sounds familiar

  19. BucJ Says:

He added me back on Snapchat after he got signed by the jets. At first he seemed cool, but then he was really arrogant and made a racist remark. I’m glad we got rid of him. Yeah, he’s producing with the Jets, but with the bucs he was injured and barely produced
