Thanks Joe for the outing offer. But I’ll just sit at home in my own comfortable Den Of Depression Where I can..Drink and cry in peace. This week my crying buddy was Makers Mark. My selection will be different next Sunday. Thank God i got a good wife who prepares me nice foods for the game. She calls it..our offering to the Football Gods!

People actually want to watch this team? I’ve seen every snap, and I’m not sure I want to see another.

Well Joe at least the Lightning are dominating….. I suspect a Bolts fan page would be dominated by trolls that are fans of other clubs who are jealous of the Lightning success and the fact that Vinek has made a point to make it very difficult for fans of those “other clubs” from taking over the Ice Palace via strict selling rules and a faithful homebase. Anyhow, ownership of the Bucs should take note of how well Vinek has transformed a franchise that used to flounder near the basement of its division much like the Bucs have since Gruden left and made it a consistent winner where not making it to the Conference or Stanley Cup Final is a disappointment. Heck the Glazers were so Giddy about cracking 0.500 last year that they gave Mike Smith a very expensive contract and all of us fans a lot of false hope only to see the Bucs become the South’s version of the Niners, Bears, Jets and the Flush em Down Browns all in one. Heck at least those clubs knew they were bound to end up at 4-12 or worse, the only clubs I can name that are as disappointing as the Bucs right now are the Giants and perhaps the Raiders who are in the middle of a free fall from 12-4 last season to about 4-12 this season but at least they made the playoffs once since a Bush was in the White House. Glazers want to keep the fans and have people buy tickets, and merchandise and get excited again? well I think it might require a total explosion of the franchise and perhaps give Jon Gruden a call as its apparent that while Koetter had some success it was short lived and he simply continues to make frustrating, losing gameplans and refuses to adapt at least from the fan’s point of view. Perhaps he is trying new wrinkles but its not working. If the defense shows up, the O takes the day off and if the O puts up points like it did in Buffalo than his Mike Smith led D goes belly up. This is a 4 win club at best without tanking, its bad and unacceptable and that is why the fanbase has lost the enthusiasm, simply sick and tired of almost a decade of football since the Pirate Ship said Bon Voyage to Chuckie where the Bucs have lost double digit games 5 times and only have 2 winning seasons with no playoffs…. This is not the Culverhouse era where miserly ownership is to blame, its mismanagement from the top down… So anyhow, hope the Bucs shock the world and win in New Orleans but after so much futility I think people still alive in survivor pools should take whoever is playing Tampa if they have already burned the opponents of SF and Cleveland.

It’s fun to have a party at a morgue. Won’t be watching again. Going to be continuing productive Sunday activities during football season again. Until this team stops being the smelly-ass corpse in the room, they die alone. From 1976 to game 6 2017. This time they lost me. Go Saints!!! Go each opponent every week until this team deserves fan support.

  8. BahamaBucFan Says:

None of you are fans, you’re campaigners. If the team is winning then you’re fans. GTF, GO Bucs!!!

  9. FortMyersDave Says:

Longseason = another Lakeland troll. True fan would still want a W regardless. Go back to your fave radio station.

  10. Mike Johnson Says:

BahamaBucFan…being a supporter and a fan is great. You are right though. Everybody loves a winner. Our Bucs are not winners. And everybody loves effort and consistentcy. Bucs don’t have that either. You apparantly have not been following this franchaise very long. If you had, you’d really know pain and torment. Just hang in there, If our Bucs stay on present course? You’ll become…ONE OF US!!!

  11. Steve In Tampa Says:

I’ll be there. I guess people forgot you’re still allowed to eat, drink and have a good time with like-minded people even if the team sucks.

  12. BucTrooper Says:

On Sunday, Tampa Theater is showing BACK TO THE FUTURE. Now it is true I’ve seen it 1,000 times, but the truth is, what I’ve seen on the field so far this year, I’ve seen every Sunday for a decade.

Damn just watched the Bucs Jets game and don’t think I want to watch this Sunday or next Sunday’s games. Don’t think the Bucs can win either game after watching Thursday Night Football. Hell the Bucs May only win one more against the Dolphins…….Maybe!!!!
