    Bobby – Who cares how young Jameis is going to be next year? That doesn’t mean he gets a pass next year like a rookie would. He was playing better this year but STILL didn’t look like a franchise QB. I am NOT posting to argue with you over how good Winston is or is NOT cause MOST of the posters on JBF already know how I feel about JW. Let’s just say the REAL QB’s were in LAST years draft, NOT Winston and Mariotta. JW has to prove himself in the next year or two OR shouldn’t make the BIG money, PERIOD!

    So you are another one on JBF that wants to chitcan Dirk for the TEAM underachieving, nice! GTFOOH!!! Grab your PITCHFORK and get in that conga line. We would have made it to the Playoffs last year if YOUR QB wouldn’t have led the NFL with 18 INT’s. Or, IF Jason Licht didn’t waste 2 draft picks on a K that lost at LEAST 1 game last year and brought in another one that lost a game THIS year. We should be 4-4 OR 5-3 right now if YOUR QB had the offense going like it SHOULD be. I think the TEAM has given up on Winston, NOT Dirk. They are probably just sick of the Rah Rah crap EVERY week and NOT backing it up. I know that I would be!!! Is Dirk the BEST coach we could have? Probably not!!! But UNLESS you can bring in Gruden or maybe Harbaugh I would give him another year. Look what he has done with Jameis so far.

    If you WANT the Glazers to fire SOMEONE tell them to fire Licht ASAP!!!! You said it yourself, we HARDLY have ANY talent on defense or the TEAM for that matter. I would bring in a new GM (right away) so he could START to EVALUATE what to do with this bunch of QUITTERS JL has brought to this TEAM in the last 4 years. Then HE can decide IF we need a new DC too. It is EITHER the players or the scheme, BOTTOM LINE!!! Send a message to the players that the Glazers are fixing to clean house, STARTING after the JETS game. Bobby – Please STOP trying to get the boys to keep this perpetual coaching carousel going. We could do a lot WORSE than Koetter, TRUST ME!!! I have been listening to your Podcast for a month OR so and I hope you change your mind about Dirk. Hate to see you and the rest of the VILLAGERS run of another coach after 2 years. I am tired of rebuilding after ALL these years. Enough is enough already!!! Focus on Jason so we can FINALLY bring some TALENT to this team of LOSERS he gave us!!!

  2. Big Stinky Says:

    If I were one of the Glazer Boys I would start to fire scouts this week to get the ball rolling. Why wait? They are ultimately responsible for NOT being able to evaluate the BEST players in the draft for Licht. That is why he would be losing his job, SIMPLE! I would let the next GM hire WHOEVER he wants to replace the ones I fire, and MORE if he wanted. Then I would tell Polian (Oops) or McKay that I want 2-3 DE’s (next year) from FA & the Draft and at LEAST one new DT as well, 2 new CB’s (let Grimes retire), and another S (preferably a veteran).

    From NOW on I want the BEST available players from the draft, PERIOD! Unless you have multiple needs AND you can’t pass on a definite playmaker. By the time D. Smith’s contract is up I would want a new LT (from the draft preferably) to replace him. Either get a new C or put Hawley back there and put Marpet back at G, the OL was fine in 2015. What happened? There should be 2 new RB’s (preferably next year) AND a new QB to COMPETE with Winston. I don’t watch much college football so I have NO idea how good Barkley or Chubb are but don’t give me ANY chit. If there is a QB in next years supposedly QB heavy draft that the GM thinks is BETTER than either of them, I want him on this TEAM. Like I said, BEST player available, no exceptions!!! I would tell them to TANK the rest of the season if we had a chance to get a QB like Wentz has turned out. We could always TRADE Winston in the next year or two if he was that good OR trade whoever in the next 4-5 years. Get as many new GOOD players as you can through FA before the draft so we can get the BEST player available with the Top 5 pick we should have. Like I said, TANK if the next GM thinks we can get a QB like Wentz (or better). I want the BEST available players in the Draft from NOW on, PERIOD!!! This team has TOO many holes to fill after the crap job Licht has done in 4 years. Run him out of town OR make him walk the PLANK!!!

    Big stinky

    Jw is going nowhere. Don’t like it go to the Eagles

  4. Big Stinky Says:

    @Lamarcus

    Been a Buc fan for too long but that MIGHT be a good idea

  5. Bucnut2 Says:

    Totally agree with Big stinky- No way JW is a Franchise qb i don’t care how old he is. We should draft a QB in the later rounds this year and next and hope we hit on someone. IMO JW is about is in the 16-20 range in NFL QB’s and we may be able to get someone like Russell Wilson, Dak Prescott etc in the later rounds. Who knows, maybe Ryan Griffen can run the team. My point is JW is ALL hype and NO results. All the JW proponents on draft day were saying he was “pro ready” when we drafted him, NOT. we were also told he is a winner, he’s 17-23, NOT. Forget W’s, this guy eats L’s. HE need to go as does Licht who made the worst choice in Franchise history taking Winston #1 overall.
