America Was Proud

November 12th, 2017

Jameis keeps his teammates fired up during today’s win over the Jets.

It was a happy if not relieved bunch of Bucs as they came off the playing field of the Den of Depression, into the tunnel and headed towards the locker room.

A five-game losing streak was over.

But the happiest guy on the Bucs? It sure seemed to be America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston.

Jameis was bouncing down the pathway for players in the locker as he headed for the locker room, periodically pumping his fist in the air and letting out an occasion yelp in glee.

Jameis never played a snap, nursing his hurt throwing shoulder, and no one really knows when he will take a snap again. That doesn’t mean Jameis isn’t part of the team and he couldn’t have been happier for his teammates.

Winston sitting out was the best thing happening to him. Rest the shoulder and rest the nerves a little. Come back stronger my friend. Go Bucs!

    America was proud,

    When did losers represent America?

When the losers elected Trump with the help of Putin.

Good lord Lakeland. am I the only one seeing the negativity on every board

    Cheerleader Jameis?

  21. Gofortheface Says:

“Might slip in to the playoffs who knows.” Lol sure, if anything can make you convinced that we can be a playoff team it’s winning a game 15-10 with 250 total yards, looking completely awful but ever so slightly less awful than another awful team we beat. Screw playoffs I’m thinking super bowl.

  22. Hawaiian Buc Says:

Some of you fans must be really miserable people. Why come on here and spew negativity after a win? If you do that, I don’t understand why you even watch the games. We may not be a good team, but we won today for the first time in 6 weeks. Enjoy it, or go away and let the rest of us enjoy it.

  23. Gofortheface Says:

Yeah Hawaiian your very low standards is emblematic of why the Bucs are irrelevant. Falcons are an annual playoff contender, so are the Saints and May win their secon Super Bowl this yr. Panthers are two hrs removed from going 15 -1 and have been to two Super Bowls in the past 12 yrs. Meanwhile the Bucs can’t even be in a playoff discussion. But that’s cool, let’s all celebrate this hideous “win” that was completely hurtful on the eyes. Maybe everyone from the fans, to the ownership to the players should recalibrate their standards and demand excellence. You know, a winners mentality. I’m not gonna sit here and pretend the Bucs actually look improved when the reality is that someone had to win a game between two awful teams. Actually I think it is even more pathetic that you found any second of this very poorly played game to be enjoyable.

  24. Acewigsplitta Says:

Let us enjoy this win!Just bc we are happy to see our team end a 5 gm losing streak regardless of how ugly it looked doesn’t mean we have lowered our standards! Just in case you didn’t notice that was our back up QB in the game! You negative posters are probably the same Bucs bums posing as Buccaneers fans leaving home games early when we win just to beat traffic gtfoh!!!

  25. Hawaiian Buc Says:

    @Gofortheface,

If that’s what you gathered from my post, then I can’t help you. If you think I’m happy with us being 3-6 you’re out of your mind. We stink, but that doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy this win. What’s the point in being a miserable jerk even when we win? Can’t you just save that for the next time we lose?

As for me enjoying this game, I enjoy any game we win. Do I think we looked great? No way. Do I think we’re going to go on a run? Nope. But I’m not going to complain with a win. If I did, then it’s absolutely pointless to be a Bucs fan.

  26. MadMax Says:

It was def a great win. I wanted this one. Posted about it before the game started. Especially w/o JW and ME13……..and now Im called as folding and frail HAH!!!! You jitheads gave me a good laugh 😉

  28. MadMax Says:

^ yeah, and drunk…..being a critically thinking Bucs fan works on you like that. Im just joining the Joes and others on here (except I see more and dont wear blinders or filter my thoughts)

  29. SKBucsFan Says:

Maybe Fameis found his calling. He has always been a better cheerleader than a quarterback.

  30. Brandon Says:

Yeah, he’s America. The New America… where people talk more than produce, saying stupid stuff without thinking (Jameis eating W’s, Trump on Twitter), entitlement, I agree, Jameis is America.
