I just left the sand. Spent all of last night on the beach meditating and pondering what to make of the current situation of our team. With me I had nothing but the clothes on my back. I sacrificed food and water to gain a spiritual understanding of this team.

I did not have any visions about the outcome of tomorrow’s game but I did gain a deep enlightment.

Within the sky the stars parted and taught me how important this game is. Not important for the fans, not for Winston or Gerald. This game is very important for Dirk Koetter, it has more significance on his future here then any before it. The fans are in upheaval this week and it was meant to be this way. Our players are lashing out which was also meant to be……. Dirk has had unbridled support here and our season was aligned to be in the balance this early into the season.

Dirk has never faced any pressure as a HC because of low expectations last year. Tomorrow is the chosen time for him to feel the pressure that he has been entrusted to handle. Tomorrow’s game is not about play calling or scheme. Tomorrow is about motivation. What has he done to remotivate his player that missed a tackle, or a block, or an assignment last week? It’s not about his best player or his worst player…..it is about every player. If Dirk is truly wise he saw the error of his ways last week. NFL games are not won in a film room. They are won in the locker room. NFL games are not won by a playbook. They are won based on which team wants in more. And if Dirk has failed to motivate all fifty three men and misses just one, that one guy could be, and will be again, the guy who fumbles away our last chance for victory. This will be Dirks one and only chance to prove he is the guy this franchise needs. One chance is all a HC truly gets in this league. It’s been that way forever and will change for no man. So chins up Bucs fans…….This game tomorrow means everything to the future of this franchise.
