Is Hoodie Trolling Bucs Fans?

October 5th, 2017

Highlights Bucs’ weakest link.

One of the most interesting things Joe has seen a team website do is have the head coach break down tape on a telestrator.

And of all the people and coaches you would least expect to do something like this on a weekly basis is Bill Belicheat. Yet, he does.

Belicheat, who is notorious for keeping football information so secretive you’d think it was some classified Russian dossier, hit the telestrator to break down the Bucs.

Now given Belicheat’s well-deserved reputation for being paranoid and beyond tight-lipped, it jumped out at Joe that the first thing Belicheat did was break down the edge rush of the Bucs.

(What edge rush?)

Belicheat diagrams how defensive end Noah Spence can terrorize an offense, and highlights Spence’s sack against the Bears. That play just happens to be only sack the Bucs have through three games, dead last in the NFL.

(What edge rush?)

So for Belicheat, who is also known for drier-than-dry humor and deadpanning one-liners, he has to be trolling Bucs fans suggesting the front line of the Bucs is very active.

Why, the front line is so active that apparently edge rushers move so fast to the quarterback, nobody can see it.

(What edge rush?)

You can monitor the breakdown at Patriots.com at the 32:00 mark.

I Think he’s PLAYING us Joe, Misdirection.

  3. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    You’re dooooomed! You’re all doooooomed!

  4. darin Says:

Pats dont have a rush this year yet either. This game could be an instant classic. I dont expect much defense. Go Bucs

  5. LongSeason Says:

Ooooohhh. Looks like the Bucs manhood has been called out. Maybe they can respond by sniffing T. Brady’s cleat prints.

  6. The Buc Realist Says:

So if Coach Belicheat says something good about JW3 its validation and gospel???? But if he says something good about NS57 its not to be believed?????

Can we get a little consistency around here!!!!!!

    Go Bucs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. Lamarcus Says:

We seems to forget Mike smith never had and never will have a freak pass rusher. It’s not in his scheme to do so. It’s not in his dna to develop one. Spence being the closest he’s had but unfortunately he is too small to make an consistent impact

  8. unbelievable Says:

    Lol realist.

I trust nothing that billicheat says. This game will be tough.

  9. GhostofSchiano Says:

Dear Tampa Bay Bucs players and coaches and especially you Mr. Gerald McCoy.

I could die a happy man if just one time tonight I could see Tom Brady get up from the field after being sacked ( a sack is in when the quarterback is tackled behind the line of scrimmage) or knocked down and must remove a large chunk of the field from his upper face mask / helmet. And show that same confounded – confused look he had in the late second early third quarter of this past Superbowl. I would screen shot the picture and hang it in every room of my house. Please, a fan for the past 26 years.

    Bucket list:

    1) Retire mid 2018.
    2) Move out of California (too liberal).
    3) Move back home to Tampa (southern hospitality).
    4) Become a season ticket holder.
    5) Attend every practice and home game until I kick the bucket.

Enjoy the game and DAMN I wish I could be there!!!

  11. The Buc Realist Says:

    @unbelievable

Indeed!!!! He has been calling Cleveland a “well coached team” for years now!!!!!!

  12. Ga. Buc fan 41years Says:

On second thought, not knowing the man personally, If he’s really that arrogant could he be showing how he will attack ? Doubtful.

  13. ArthurKoblenzBuc Says:

A win tonight would go a long way toward real culture change.

  14. AlteredEgo Says:

    A brilliant coach….

  15. Lord Cornelius Says:

Anyone know where we can see “pressure” or “hurry” stats? I can’t find it online.

I thought I saw a graphic that showed we had a lot of pressure on Glennon week 1 and thought we did a little better last week despite the lack of sacks.

Regardless I’m sticking to DE/DT as primary draft needs next year.

    R1 – BPA DE/DT
    R2 – BPA DE/DT
    R3-R7 BPA DE/DT/RB/CB/OT

  16. Joe Says:

So if Coach Belicheat says something good about JW3 its validation and gospel???? But if he says something good about NS57 its not to be believed?????

LOL At least there is evidence to back up what Belicheat says about Jameis. There is no evidence to back up what he said about the Bucs’ edge rush. Hell, even Mike Smith — you know, the guy responsible for the defense — has thrown his hands up in frustration.

  17. NOSBOS Says:

It’s soggy here in the “O” right now. Any word on that forecast in Tampa tonight. Fingers cross for rain. We practice in that every training camp.

  18. GhostofSchiano Says:

So I get the roster move of releasing Alan Cross for Doug Martin, who replaces J. Smith?

Any rumors of a signing? DE hopefully.

  19. mbudhill Says:

Soooooo. this game could be that moment. This could be the game the Bucs ( with the national spotlight ) take that step and kick the living hell out of the Pats and Brady; much like we did against the 49ers in 96 or 97. Do we have talent, yes! Underrated, yep! Tired of losing and ready to be a winning team and organization once again, well find out tonight! If the Bucs are legit, we HAVE to win this game. Lets Go BUCS!

  20. BucFanFromOH Says:

    @GhostofSchiano

They brought up Isaiah Johnson (safety) because of all the injuries we have right now.

  21. Not there yet Says:

No he’s trolling your website, your the one who came out after the Patriots first lost asking the stupid question should we pencil in a win against the pats week 4

  22. Guzzie Says:

I called out JW before the Gints game, said he is going to get compared to Blake Bortles if he continues to turn the ball over, and I said JW only beats up on inferior teams, and JW hasn’t had a lot of come from behind victories. Granted the Gints are 0-4, but that’s a really good 0-4 team with 2 straight last minute defeats, JW had zero turnovers, and led a last minute come from behind victory, so Im going to continue to bash JW hoping he proves me wrong again, this week I’m saying JW never plays well in prime time and JW rarely beats an elite QB not in his division, now go prove me wrong JW!

  23. BurgDweller Says:

Is this some sort of reverse psychology from Belichick? If so, I hope it works! We know there is zero pass rush on that D line.

  24. denjoe Says:

Noah is a beast, I don’t care if the cheater is trolling us! He plays his heart out every down hurt or not. Yeah he can’t be as effective with one arm, but you gotta love the heart, its a shame about his shoulder but we need more guys like him. IMO

  25. 813bucboi Says:

he’ll find out about the pass rush tonight….more than one way to skin a cat….GO BUCS!!!!

  26. Mike Johnson Says:

Still nice pic Joe of Bellacheat flashing them rings..Styling and profilin!!!

  27. GhostofSchiano Says:

@ Mike Johnson…Stylin and profilin? More like he is telling us I got your manhood in my hand and I am squeezing very hard. I want this win more than any other this year. Please win Bucs.

  28. BuccaneEric75 Says:

This HAS to be the game Winston hits DJax deep. The threat of DJax is opening things up for everyone else, just imagine Winston connecting one one early. Then things will REALLY open up AND put the fear of God into the Pats DBs!

  29. Mike Johnson Says:

I’m feelin yas there GhostofSchiano! I just think..Not a better time for Jameis to show all of America ..He has arrived. Only NFL game in town. National Audience. But can Jameis do it? Is he ready? If so..this could turn out to be a great game for the Buc organization. I’d luv to see our Offense just completely..overwhelm the Pats. We shall see. Got my popcorn and..Libations ready!

  30. BuccaneEric75 Says:

Mike, I’m with ya! I’m ready for this to be a REAL statement game this time. We’ve been put back in our place before. Now is the time to get it done. My only fear is that Winston is too focused on out-playing Brady and forces some throws early. If Winston comes out like he did against the Giants I think we’ve got a good chance to win.

  31. Trubucfan22 Says:

We are killing Brady today. Brady is still picking us apart but the pass rush is getting to him.
