You’ve got to setup Sims in the middle on occasion, so he is more effective when they get him on the edge in the passing game.
Dirk is setting up a play for later in the game to fake Sims up the middle, get the linebacker to bite, then hitting him wide open in the flat. Trust in Dirk.

This team hadn’t played a down of serious football in OVER THREE FREAKING WEEKS…the starters didn’t even dress in game 4 of the preseason…do you remember? DK said he would have played that strategy differently if he knew the hurricane would wipe out the first week.
Despite all of those challenges the offense came out and looked pretty good…especially good enough with our defense.

The lack of pass rush. I mean we know they are throwing on every down and we’re not getting much pressure. Now if the game was close we would prob be mixing in some blitzes and exotic looks, but it is concerning as we are going up against some better QBs with better receivers soon.

The oline did good much better than expected.
