More National Love For Bucs

June 28th, 2017

More Bucs love.

So, about that notion of no respect from national figures…

Monday morning, the “Good Morning, Football” crew was at it again, sharing love for your Tampa Bay Buccaneers, baby. The popular weekday show piped to homes across the land by way of NFL Network was pushing the Bucs as a team to watch. Again.

Good guy co-host Peter Schrager was asked who are the top five NFL players who have yet to reach their 25th birthday. And Schrager named two on the roster of the Bucs.

The No. 1 player in his mind is America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston. The No. 5 player under 25? Mike Evans.

That’s some high praise from Schrager.

For someone to suggest the Bucs are ignored or direspected nationally, well, that tells Joe that certain someone isn’t paying attention.

Now, if we can just get people who live here, who have moved from other Football Towns, to start supporting the Bucs.
I can clearly remember a Steelers game here in Tampa, and us Bucs fans were greatly outnumbered.
In the parking lot, almost all the Steeler Fans were driving cars with Florida Plates.

  2. The Buc Realist Says:

I have heard more “Bucs talk” on NFL Radio siriusm then the so called flagship radio station!!!! And all of it, is very positive!!!!! They even finished in the top 5 for “11 personnel” in nfl offenses!!!!!!!!

I like this guy. last year when we beat the chiefs (I think) everyone was asking “what was wrong with the chiefs” and he said “why couldn’t it just be that the Bucs are good?” it was a good segment.

I love my bucs….the national attention I could care less about as long as the fans in the bay area are behind them…..

all of this national attention reminds me of JAX last year….after the draft and all the FA’s they signed people were singing them praise….the spot light was on them….everyone thought they were going to be real contenders….and then they fell on their face….

we have to stay humble, ignore the outside noise and try to go 1-0 each week….GO BUCS!!!!

  5. Maze Says:

Waking up everyday with a competent head coach is such a blessing.

  6. Casual Observer Says:

Good comment from Maze. Our coach is underrated in my opinion. Has things under control and, with solid help from our GM, has a very talented roster to work with. Should be a very interesting, and positive season. Barring major injuries, of course.

Martellus Bennett was dogging tampa hard on good morning football, wow!!!
(I’m still pissed bro got away!!)! Anyways, he called Tampa “Witness protection” No one sees you. Blackouts. Hey, the truth hurts sometimes… But this is all about to change! We just need to get behind this team big time. I’m moving to the Tampa area (because of the BUCS) in a month… I plan on taking part in alllll things BUCS, let’s go!!!!! I’m ready, r u?

  8. Kobe Faker Says:

Who stole Peter’s 3 chins and 60 lbs?

Its going to be embarrassing watching Schragers feet sticking out of Lichts behind the whole Hard Knocks series

Did our Fatboy bust Chris Baker eat those 3 chins? Thank God our rookie Samoan is going to play very well. History repeats itself. Licht brings in a bust Baker free agent and drafts a late round gem. He is consistant…

and the free agent Dontalle Poe, who we should have signed plays lights out for the dirty dirty…ooohhh the irony

  9. unbelievable Says:

Ah, I see Kobe is back to his debbie down ways and making predictions that will never come true.

Not gonna make any empty promises this time?

As for Schrager, he’s been all in on the Bucs for a while and was one of the first guys to start giving us props last year during that win streak. He see’s what we’re building. Go Bucs!

  10. Phil Says:

The bad part is Kay Adams is on vacation.

  11. Alaskan abdominal snowman Says:

Chris Baker has been more productive the last few years than Donatari Poe. People are still praising poe for his 40 time, y’all need to watch some football.

  12. NFLNut Says:

Jameis will still be only 23 years old when next regular season ENDS!

The kid will have between 12-13,000 yards and 80-100 TD’s BEORE he even turns 24 years old … Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady had basically COMBINED to throw for ZERO yards and ZERO TD’s at that age!

When all is said and done, Jameis will obliterate the NFL passing record books imho.
