Cool insight (though not surprising) from Bucs left tackle Donovan Smith.
Players were made available to reporters prior to the first minicamp practice of underwear football season today. There, Smith was asked how America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston, has evolved entering his third NFL season.
Smith noted Jameis is still Jameis, but maybe more so now than ever.
“He has always been a leader,” Smith said of Jameis. “But the way he is leading [now], he has taken it up a notch.
“He is the hardest working guy I know. When you get here at 5:45 in the morning and he is already here, it’s like you can’t beat him to the building.”
Man, that is great stuff to learn, but damn, Joe hopes all that hard work sooner or later results in a playoff berth.
Joe is getting tired of planning his winter and spring calendar before bowl season has ended.

I was driving past obp on Saturday night around 4am and I saw Jameis in the parking lot throwing balls to himself and running across the lot and catching them. He scored on every pass. #Amazing
