Glad to see this man getting another shot!!!! He made a mistake years ago, and has owned and now has grown as a man!!!!!!!

I don’t know if he makes the roster or not, But clearly, he will make the roster better just by trying out!!!!! Kudos to NFL GM Licht and Head Coach Koetter bringing in this man for a look see!!!!!!!

    Good luck to RC17!!!!!!!!!

    Go Bucs!!!!!!!!!!

  2. bucs_365 Says:

I’d rather pass, stick with the young guys. My receiver depth chart projection (assuming no injuries)…

    Evans
    DJax
    Humphries
    Godwin
    Walker
    Sperbeck

  3. The Real Malloy Says:

He belongs ahead of walker or sperbeck. Give the kid a chance. Everyone embraces the Michael Vicks of the world who got 2nd chances. This kid did NOTHING in comparison…

  4. Buc1987 Says:

All of this will shake out in camp and pre-season. Depth charts and what not. I assume someone at One Buc decided to take a look or they could of just said “Id rather pass”. He’s here for a reason. Some were worried about Jameis being able to spread around the ball enough. Most of these WR’s should be worried about TC and spreading it around enough to make the team.

Should be a fun watch. Riley Cooper on “Hard Knocks”. A Doug Martin presumably off Hard Drugs. Jameis spreadin the ball around to so many weapons. Smitty barking out orders along with Hayes.

Joe I don’t think I’ve envied you more for what you get to do. This TC should be fun.

  6. tmaxcon Says:

sperbeck, goodwin and walker all have ten times the ability of hump… hump was undrafted for a reason and all this feel good chemistry garbage people bring up does NOT trump Talent.

  7. CaptainStagger Says:

@tmaxcon ASJ has more talent than Brate…soooooo no, talent doesn’t trump hard work and chemistry.

  8. tmaxcon Says:

    captainstagger

none of the three i mentioned are ASSJACKS like ASJ thus rendering you comment irrelevant

good stories will keep the bucs in the basement talent wins championships…

  9. LakeLandBuc Says:

Jordan Westerkamp could be the sleeper of TC.

  10. Mike Evans GOAT Says:

    Godwin yes^^^^^
But the others were undrafted as well. So how much of a talent gap could there be? Hump has done nothing but prove himself since he got here. Every1 is so quick to get rid of our 3rd leading receiver. If they win out and are indeed better than hump then it is what is is. May the best man win.

  11. Atlbuc28 Says:

Tmax… I guess we watched a different Rams game last year.

  12. CaptainStagger Says:

@tmx your comment about Hump being undrafted..hence he is garbage? I’d like clarity. Surly you are t suggesting udfa’s are all garbage. All I know is that when his number is called, he answered.

    ——————————————————————————————

Godwin is clearly a more talented athlete than Hump, but you are dead wrong about the other 2. Hump had is faster than Sperbeck, 4.51 40 vs 4.59. And having watched all the Boise st. tapes available on Draftbreakdown, Sperbeck drops a lot of balls, where Humphries has one of the best catch percentages on our squad.

Hump was our 3rd best option last year after Mike and Cam, and the kid is as dedicated as they come. Jameis Loves the guy, Dirk Loves him, and he will continue to get better.

  14. Blake_bucsfan Says:

    Hump *is* faster.

  15. Atlbuc28 Says:

    For the Hump haters…https://youtu.be/Orq-Rd0myi0

  16. LakeLandBuc Says:

The Bucs will probably go into TC with 10-12 WRs, and they should pick the Top 6 for their final roster. Personally I don’t have any favorites, may the best men win.

  17. Atlbuc28 Says:

    @ Blake…..
Hump was our 3rd best option last year after Mike and Cam, and the kid is as dedicated as they come. Jameis Loves the guy, Dirk Loves him, and he will continue to get better.
    ……….
You said it perfect!.. Jameis and Hump have the drive to be great…i totally dont get why Bucs fans come on here and try to blast him …

  18. MarineBucsFan Says:

I’m not a Riley Cooper fan, but if he makes the roster than I will root for him. It’s just so exciting that we are in a position to have good players battling for our WR5 and WR6 roster spots. I think its going to be hard to stash a few of these guys away on our practice squad. Bobo, Sperbeck, Walker, Westerkamp…..all of these young guys have potential to be great contributors.

  19. Capt.Tim Says:

    Sorry, Tmaxipad
Humphries is A dominant Slot Reciever
And his Intelligence puts him way ahead of of the competition.
Watch how Jameis and Adam- two Of our smartest players!, Are always on the same page.
Its like the chemistry Jameis has with Brate.

Or Tom Brady Has with his entire team.

I love the way this team is being built.
Talented, Intelligent players, who love the game. Guys that win the Mental and physical game.

In the past, this team has had talented morons.
It kept us in last place.
You cant coach stupid, selfish players

As the Patriots have proven over the Years-
    Smart players win Championships.
If they bring in some idiot- its only to use him for a year, then broom him.

With Jameis, McCoy, Brate, Humphries, Alexander, etc- we are building a team that will be contending for years

Cooper made a mistake. And a small one at that.
But he could help Jameis, when the injuries pile up.
    Give him his shot.

  20. Buccfan37 Says:

Competition brings out the best. The WR position seems crowded with better talent , a win situation for the Bucs going forward.

  21. grafikdetail Says:

@The Real Malloy: you need jesus LOL

  22. SB Says:

    TALENT trumps????
I don’t give a Dam how much talent you have. It is Worthless without hard work and determination. Just ask the Ryan Leafs and Jamarcuss Russells of the world. And those are only the first two that came to mind. The skid rows of the world are Littered with people that had the talent to make it in this world but didn’t have the work ethic.

  23. Blake_bucsfan Says:

Guys, Licht is a genius, remember that 2018 we traded to get Stevie Tui’kolovatu? Well we’re projected to get a 7th round compensatory pick next year. So we basically got him for a swap.

  24. nate12345 Says:

Ask him a real question.. If he knew about Aaron hernandez and if him and tebow ever hooked up?!

  25. Kevin Says:

Hes a really good receiver. If he can prove to the players and staff he has matured and ready to contribute he could be a really big contributor if injuries stack up mid season. I will not be the least surprised if he makes the final 53 he is good

  26. SB Says:

Would that make any difference to how he helps this football team if he makes it Nate????

  27. nate12345 Says:

Why does Hard knocks? its called entertainment!

  28. Tnew Says:

Blake…sperbeck was sub 4.5 at his pro day.
    http://www.postregister.com/articles/sports-college/2017/03/31/sperbeck-stands-out-bsu-pro-day#

  29. Tnew Says:

If Sperbeck gets a combine invite he might be a late draft pick. Humphries has one MAJOR advantage. He’s entering his third year in this system. Because of the awful wr play he has had so many game snaps. You just can’t fake that. My big concern is will the concussions prove to become an issue with him. I hope not

  30. Birdie Says:

    What about BO BO!!

What? Not too sure what a 2000 year old carpenter has to do with any of this. You need to get a job and move out of your moms basement.

  32. Blake_bucsfan Says:

@Tmax, Unofficially, the consensus time on him was 4.59

  34. @Hands2theface Says:

AN is right. If D. Cook had a better head on his shoulders and could avoid trouble with friends or J. Mixon had better self control, they would have both gone on the first. Intelligence, self control, hardwork, want to trumps talent.

  35. @Hands2theface Says:

    AN = SB

  36. Tarzan the Bucs Fan Says:

Blake we also have a 7th found pick for the Jonathan banks trade w/ the lions

  37. SB Says:

@Hands2theface………Lol……….when you misspelled my name you did so in the most Ironic way. SB+AN …….S BAN. Please not BAN again. Many who have been around for at least 5 years will get it. 🙂

  38. Tnew Says:

4.47 vs 4.59 is a huge difference. If he’s a 4.59, he won’t make the team. He plays closer to a low 4.5 I don’t know why they don’t go away from the Hand time all together. The electronic traps aren’t that expensive vs an incorrect time.

  39. Tackleblockwin Says:

I think it is amusing that Hump is constantly undervalued by many Bucs fans.

  40. BucDaddy82 Says:

Blatant racism and dog fighting aren’t quite I’m the same boat buddy. Let me guess, you have a confederate flag license plate?

  42. Lou #STICKcarrrier Says:

Forgive people and give them a second chance. Riley is NO question the fourth best WR on this team HANDS DOWN.

  43. Capt. Blighe Says:

OJ your an Idiot, using the N-word at a concert when you have been drinking is hardly blatant racism. Poor taste yes but that does not compare to FELONY animal cruelty.

  44. SB Says:

^^^^^ Killing innocent Animals isn’t as bad as saying ” I will fight any Niger in this stadium bro!”??
What freakin world do you live in Oj?

  45. SB Says:

Nevermind. I don’t want to know. Just stay in it please.

  46. TouchDownTampaBay Says:

Just curious Malloy, who did you vote for?

  47. Brett Says:

Want to see the Bucs develop some low round picks. But Riley Cooper was one. If he can play, I can get past his mistake of words. I bet he has grown since then.

  48. Jameisbucsfan Says:

    Just don’t sleep on Bobo

  49. Brandon Says:

Y’all say whatever you want, just stop calling a 29 year old man a “kid”.

  50. TouchDownTampaBay Says:

Capt Bligh – saying “I will fight ever N-word in this stadium” actually is blatant racism.

  51. Trubucfan22 Says:

You can call me a hump hater. His only route is the wr screen. Without that he would have only had a hand full of catches. No seperation when he runs actual routes. Speed, agility, work ethic… none of it matters if you can’t get seperation from a defender. Maybe he can improve his game and become a better route runner, but i’ll believe it when i see it.
