Hey Joe, I usually have no problem firing this thing right up and listening. Today for some reason the links may be broken or it’s not coming through right
Seems like it might be on your end.–Joe

I’m with Lee on his take on the Dallas and NO game. If the offense plays better, we can take those games. But the defense is far from perfect or where Smitty wants to see it at. Walker would have been a great addition.

The defense should be better this year. We are still the best defense on the NFC South. I’m looking forward to more changes on defense and offense.

The old Bucs are gone so should be the infamous den name. We are actually now playing at Raymond JAMEIS Stadium!

    Go Bucs!!!

Great podcast, as fsu alumni I was/am very high on Walker’s tape, so thanks for agreeing. It’s all speculation about what type of defense Mike Smith wants to run, he is certainly did an admirable job getting maximum talent from current players. You commonly refer to Smith’s falcon but he even states he was more of a ceo head coach than coordinator. In Jacksonville he had 2 massive defensive tackles, you have alluded to them. Maybe, he wants a similar defense to this or the Cowboys, 2 massive run stuffing, pocket pushing tackles with smaller quicker pass rushing ends.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

Show Ira some love, it’s his pod, you know? 🙂

  7. Tampa Tony Says:

Ira, has some great points about the d which scares me as the d outside of 5 games was awful and I’m not sure if Smith is multiple or creative enough to mix things up. Glad he stuck around for continuity but I hope he gets more aggressive

I don’t always agree, but I do enjoy listening to IRA!!!
