  1. Mike Says:

Which Saints game is at home, 12/31?

  2. BuccaneEric75 Says:

    Patriots on a Thursday sucks.

  3. Mike Says:

    Fixed – thanks

  4. Ty_in_STL Says:

Where is the Saints home game? Dec 31?

  5. CreamsicleBananaHammock Says:

A September home game at 1 o’clock? Bad for the fans, although even worse for the Bears players who will be wearing their black uniforms. Dalvin should have them worn out by the 4th quarter

  6. Vico Says:

Saints @ TB for New Year’s eve it is…

  7. BuccaneEric75 Says:

And a 4:00 game the week before our Thursday game? WTF!

  8. R.O. Says:

Pretty sure the times for Bears and Giants games are not correct..

  9. BuccaneEric75 Says:

    R.O, I hope not.

  10. Bucnjim Says:

Season comes down to the last three (division) games of the the year. Plus three out of the last four are at home! Start strong & finish strong!

  11. JimmyJack Says:

I like that Monday Night game. could be a huge factor for division. Awesome to get 3 of 4 final games at home and week 11 bye is p. sweet.

  12. Eric Denman Says:

Not a bad schedule but only 2 prime time games sucks. I cant wait for it start!

  13. Kobe Faker Says:

Damn we have a tough division

Its easier to win the division than having enough wins to make the wildcard

  14. Alstott up the gut Says:

Both Saints games are listed on the road…

  15. Alstott up the gut Says:

I have to refresh my page more

  16. iamkingsu Says:

I was hoping we could get a Sunday night game

  17. mike n Says:

lots of 1pm and late bye

  18. JimmyJack Says:

Nice test for Winston……He goes against 3 elite QBs(excluding divisional games). If he canwin two of those games I’ll be very impressed.

  19. mike n Says:

i thought we might get 3 primetimes… oh well. maybe a late season flex

  20. Alstott up the gut Says:

Actually hate first 7 games as non-division and 6 of last 9 are division.

  21. Eric Says:

    Looks doable to me.

  22. NFLNut Says:

12-4 AT BEST AND 8-8 AT WORST … 10-6 WOULD BE RIGHT IN BETWEEN AND WOULD BE AN IMPROVEMENT

I HATE that the ONLY primetime games are against the defending conference title teams … that’s crap and if we lose both the narrative will be we don’t play well under the big lights … the team on Hard Knocks should get a more favorable schedule!

  23. JTHV Says:

Damn, I needed only 3 games from JP to complete to leak the full schedule on the Twitter and get no mention? smh lololol

  24. JTHV Says:

look at the other schedule thread, had games posted there before just staying on the twitter.

  25. mike n Says:

dang, pats on a short week

  26. Fanalyzer34 Says:

The Giants game needs to be at 1pm if we play the Pats on Thursday night in the same week… It doesn’t matter if both are home games….

  27. Vico Says:

I won’t deny it, I’ve had a couple of beers… but the more I look at this schedule, the more I think we’re a successful draft/FA away from being capable of beating any team here. Bellicheats included. Imo, a successful draft would get us more quality picks than we currently expect… .

  28. Lord Cornelius Says:

Love this compared to last year. Much easier opening 4; nothing too stacked after that; and I like the later bye week

I predicted 9-7 last year but didn’t nail all the games. Early as f*ck prediction for 2017:

    Sept. 10, at Miami, 1 p.m. W
    Sept. 17, BEARS, 1 p.m. W
    Sept. 24, at Minnesota, 1 p.m. W
    Oct. 1, GIANTS, 4 p.m. L
    Oct. 5, PATRIOTS, 8:25 p.m. (Thursday) L
    Oct. 15, at Cardinals, 4:05 p.m. W
    Oct. 22, at Bills, 1 p.m. W
    Oct. 29, PANTHERS, 1 p.m. W
    Nov. 5, at Saints, 1 p.m. L
    Nov. 12, JETS, 1 p.m. W
    BYE Week 11
    Nov. 26, at Atlanta, 1 p.m. W
    Dec. 3, at Green Bay, 1 p.m. L
    Dec. 10, LIONS, 1 p.m. W
    Dec. 18, ATLANTA, 8:30 p.m. (Monday) W
    Dec. 24, at Panthers, 1 p.m. L
    Dec. 31, SAINTS, 1 p.m W

11-5 – sweep the Falcons off their SB hangover and split with Saints/Panthers

  29. SCBucsFan Says:

Green Bay in December. Hope it doesn’t snow.

  30. Canadianbucsfan Says:

GB here I come sport bucs gear head to fn toe!

  31. Vico Says:

Okay, just threw up the beer and looked at it again, I think we stay at 9-7. This time with a playoff berth though…

  32. big serious Says:

    oct 15…I AM THERE

  33. Canadianbucsfan Says:

Everyone saying they want another primetime game just remember we can be flexed into a Sunday night like last season

  34. Couch Fan Says:

I am loving this schedule. Nice 3 games to start off with. Not hard teams but not easy either. Late bye. 4 division games in the last 6 weeks will make for an exciting finish. I said it before, I think this season will be one to remember!

  35. GhostofTedford Says:

@ Lord Cornelius, I agree with your post but I think we win either the Giants game or the pats game. 12-4

  36. Birdman Says:

Real talk if we beat the teams we’re supposed to beat and split even within the division that looks like a 10 win schedule for us…

  37. NFLNut Says:

Either of the last two games could get flexed to prime time as well … especially that Panthers one as I think it will have playoff implications

  38. DallasBuc Says:

    Changes nothing. Expect winning.
    Make Mixon a Buc

  39. Jim Says:

I bet they give the Patriots a long week off before the Thursday night game.

  40. The bucfan 88 Says:

@lordcormeilius I agree with u but I’m thinking 12-4 I believe we are beating the Giants there defense do not scare me plus Eli dont start the season well

  41. Chrisco4BUCS Says:

    I’ll be at 10/5, 12/3 and 12/24

  42. BucFanForever Says:

Wow! Eight weeks before a division game, and a late bye.

  43. BuccaneEric75 Says:

The more I think about it I’m liking the Thursday New England game. We probably wouldn’t beat the Pats anyway, and we always suck on Thursdays. So why not combine the two and not risk a loss against a weaker team? I guess that loss could be viewed as a win of some sorts.

  44. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

I thought I read somewhere that our first two games would be away games because of construction?

    Or was that preseason games?

  45. BuccaneEric75 Says:

NE plays Carolina at 1:00 the week before they play us.

  46. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Two primetime games scheduled and we’ll probably get flexed to prime time twice because we’ll be contenders…not to mention the Hard Knocks exposure could increase interest if we are winning.

Yikes. Ending the season with 3 divisional games. So the division winning will not be known until sometime during the last 3 games, possible the last game.

Because I think we’ll be going to the playoffs, if we cut it close, each one of our division opponents will be trying to knock us out.

  47. Gencoimports Says:

WTF?!? Only two 4 p.m. games and one of them is right before a Thursday game. That is an outrage. and no Sunday night games!

  48. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Also, a bit early to tell, but it looks like we MIGHT go 4-4 in the first half of the season…minimum. Probably better.

  49. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    Gencoimports Says
“WTF?!? Only two 4 p.m. games and one of them is right before a Thursday game. That is an outrage. and no Sunday night games!”

We’ll get flexed to Sunday nights.

As far as 4pm games, I hate them We had rain delays because of them last year, and our two games are right toward the end of rainy season…and we all know it runs late around Tampa.

  50. Chrisco4BUCS Says:

Brady’s first game at RayJay will be an L

  51. Gencoimports Says:

at Green Bay in December, Sheesh

  52. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

I love this schedule now that I look more closely.

The Patriots are always a beast to play against, but there isn’t another team on the schedule that is a juggernaut at first glance.

We could well go 14 wins or better!

  53. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    Another interesting tidbit…

…we’ll be playing our old NFC North Rivals as well. Each of them.

This schedule is really growing on me.

It’s actually a fair schedule other than the division games at the end. Been years since we got a fair schedule.

14-2 Best Reg Season in Bucs history

  55. big serious Says:

    ^^^^let us pray

  56. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    @BucDaddy82

Too soon to predict game wins really. At least wait for the draft, lol. And do you really believe the Bucs will beat the Patriots?
    Love the optimism!

  57. LifeOfABucFan Says:

    Let’s do a prayer circle…I like it BucDaddy…I like it…

  58. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Undefeated in the division? Riiiight. lol

  59. BucDaddy82 Says:

    Buccaneer Bonzai

The Pats won’t win forever and I really think that our D will get after old TB12.

Kinda like in 1997 when Bucs beat Young, Rice and 49ers.

  60. Pickgrin Says:

LOVE the late bye week and finishing the season at home in a div game.

Not crazy about playing in Green Bay in early Dec though. Lets hope its not too cold on that date.

  61. JTHV Says:

    I love this schedule!

In-State rival to kick it off

Back to Back old Black and Blue Division games

Back to Back against both the BSPN Darlings from the North East

Two winnable games before starting the Division Schedule

The Jets and a Bye Week = Back to Back Bye Weeks

Test our mettle @ATL/@GB to start the stretch run to the Playoffs

4 VERY WINNABLE games in December with Playoff Seeds on the line

BAM! At Worst 10-6, at Best 12-4 (LoL)

  62. BucDaddy82 Says:

    Buccaneer Bonzai

Bucs are the best team in the NFC South. Yes undefeated in the division.

  63. uckinator Says:

The Bucs will be 4 – 0 coming into the Patriot game. Very interesting. Very interesting indeed. Merci – I’m from Chicago and their game is on at 1:00 pm in September. They’ll be carrying people out of there on streachers.

  64. LifeOfABucFan Says:

Giants and Pats only 4 days in between and the giants game is at 4? WTF?

  65. celly Says:

    my early season prediction…

    16-0.

Until we actually lose a game, we’re undefeated. If we lose a game, i’ll change my prediction to 15-1.

If we lose 2 games, i’ll change it to 14-2.

    You see my point?

  66. JTHV Says:

Look at that stretch to end the season!!! The NFL is trying to gift wrap us the opportunity to not only secure a Playoff home game but WIN the NFC South!!!

    Nov. 12, JETS, 1 p.m.
    BYE Week 11
    Nov. 26, at Atlanta, 1 p.m.
    Dec. 3, at Green Bay, 1 p.m.
    Dec. 10, LIONS, 1 p.m.
    Dec. 18, ATLANTA, 8:30 p.m. (Monday)
    Dec. 24, at Panthers, 1 p.m.
    Dec. 31, SAINTS, 1 p.m.

  67. Kevinthepainterimagine Says:

We had more 4oclock games last season it seems. At least they threw us a monday nighter on top of tnf. Maybe another game.will be flexed

  68. JTHV Says:

The ONLY 1pm home games with the threat of heat are the Bears game (obviously) and the Panthers. Other than that, fans will be ok.

  69. greg Says:

Wow…the Patriots on a short week is hard enough….we play Sunday at 4 and then Thursday night…at least we don’t have to travel.

  70. JTHV Says:

***Giants game will be in shade after 2nd Quarter***

  71. JTHV Says:

Good point Greg. But again we get popped with tough games in 4 days. Last year was Oakland and then ATL. The two teams who would’ve been in the Super Bowl if Carr didn’t get injured.

  72. Stpetebucsfan Says:

I’m lovin some of these early predictions!

Lord C I’m probably with you…11-5…I think we may beat the Giants though.

BucDaddy…I like the way you think! Again 14 would take a special year…a very special year.

This means that lots of Bucs would need to have career years and we’d have to stay very healthy. But I see #3 improving significantly….I see ME13 flourishing now that he has DJAX on the other side…which also gives Brate and Hump more room or the other WR we draft.

But LVD…Kwon…and especially GMC would all need to have career years. Point is that is largely coincidence…how many guys peak or hit career highs on a team at the same time…but there are ways to influence it starting with coaching….I love our coaching staff…not just Coach K but the excellent staff he’s assembled. He’s not afraid to have really talented guys right beneath him.

The other influences are team chemistry….leadership….and I think we now excel in those areas. I think 11 is very doable…14 would require a lot of breaks falling into place…and career years from stars kinda like Carolina’s year.

  73. DefenseRules Says:

Looks like the Patriots will be playing the Panthers the Sunday before they play us on Thursday night. Plus that Thurs night game is at RayJay and our game against the Giants is also here. Hate the 3-day turnaround BUT … We actually have a better chance of winning that game than the Pats do in my opinion.

  74. Stpetebucsfan Says:

We better learn to hold home court advantage!

We need to gain some dominance at home that has been largely missing. That could be one of the greatest challenges for improvement this year….we need to make Ray Jay fearsome. It did show a lot of promise last year. More wins this year and I think the home field advantage returns. I sure hope it does.

It’s critical. 3 of our first five games are at home and three of our last four are at home. Wouldn’t we love to feel good about those seven games. Time for a home field advantage.

  75. DallasBuc Says:

Outside of all the division games being played in the last half of the season I think this is a really balanced schedule. At least the back to back Giants/Patriots games are at home. No complaints this year. It’s time to put up or shut up. No damn excuses.

  76. Ndog Says:

I am not begin negative but this is not a good schedule. Back to back Giants and Patriots and back to back Atantal and GB. Also no Sunday night game AGAIN! F that this is bull sh*t. 2 of the first 3 on the road only to come home to two playoff teams one being the SB champs on a short week. This schedule is not one in which looks like a team the NFL expect’s to be very good. The only two national games are vs the super bowl teams so the draw is not us its them. Zero respect!

  77. DallasBuc Says:

Stop whining! This is pro football and we are expected to compete with anyone, period. Need to get the loser culture out of the locker room and the loser culture out of this pathetic fan base.

  78. theodore Says:

What happened to the 4pm dodge-the-lightning home games?

  79. Kobe Faker Says:

“Dont worry, Ill take care of the Giants”

    Desean Jackson

  80. Ndog Says:

It’s called facts not whining and I never said anything about losing or difficult if you could actually read. I pissed at the lack of respect but when we take of business it won’t matter. And to be clear the only loser in these parts is you and your daily negative takes.

  81. Rod Munch Says:

3 of 4 at home down the stretch with three straight division opponents to close out the year. The game in GB on Dec 3, that should be interesting. The schedule isn’t too bad down the stretch but man, the Vikings at Minnesota, then the Giants, Pats and at Arizona, that’s a tough stretch for the Bucs who generally play like garbage in Minnesota, in Arizona and against the Giants and Pats. Doing w/l on the schedule I think they’re going to do go to be 9-7 unless the offense really breaks out this year, which will require Dirk not being ultra-conservative like he was last year. The 1pm game against Chicago is great for the fans if you care about winning – and you don’t want every game for the first month of the season delayed by an hour because of weather. Last year you can make a very legitimate case that the delay in the Rams game cost the Bucs that game since Winston is a guy who can take some time to warm-up and was on fire down the stretch and Evans was killing them – then give the Rams 45mins to adjust to what the Bucs were doing and for Winston to cool down, the Bucs come out and repeatedly try to force it to V Jackson which turned out to be a losing formula (although Winston had them at the 4 yard line to end the game and if Dirk understands how timeouts work the Bucs probably also win).

Anyways it’s not as bad of a schedule as it could have been – had they gave us Dec games against Buffalo and GB on the road – that could be worse. Also we’ll have to see how many teams the Bucs play that will be coming off byes, hopefully it’s none.

  82. Buc1987 Says:

    Pre-draft I see 10-6.

  83. BuccaneEric75 Says:

I’m in PA. I’d love to get tickets to that Bills game!

  84. Rod Munch Says:

No Sunday Night Football for the Bucs unless they’re flexed into it, and only one MNF against Atlanta, which is a nod for Atlanta getting to the SB, not much to do with the Bucs, just like the only Thursday night game is a nod towards NE and not the Bucs. Tampa should take this as it’s intended, as a complete insult. As fans this stinks too since it means the national broadcasts will again probably be 17 weeks of mixed Dallas and Pats games.

  85. DallasBuc Says:

“Back to back Giants and Patriots and back to back Atantal and GB.”
    Wah!
“Also no Sunday night game AGAIN! F that this is bull sh*t.”
    Wah wah!!
“2 of the first 3 on the road only to come home to two playoff teams one being the SB champs on a short week.”
    Wah wah wah!!!
“The only two national games are vs the super bowl teams so the draw is not us its them. Zero respect!”
    Waaaaaaahhhhh
“And to be clear the only loser in these parts is you and your daily negative takes.”
I know you are but what am I? Waaaaaahhhhhh!!!

  86. Rod Munch Says:

Hey Dallas, go eat a big ebola pekka.

    God bless.

  87. Ndog Says:

Man you can copy and paste that’s impressive. Maybe you can get a job finally.

  88. Capt.Tim Says:

    Whew!
    Its a tough one.

10-6, win the division- get our feet wet in the playoffs.
One playoff game- and Jameis will beat’em like a mule team, to get’em to the Superbowl.

Barring catastrophic injury- it all starts this year!

  89. DallasBuc Says:

Keep crying boys! It’s okay mommy loves you

  90. Rod Munch Says:

theodore – The Bucs only have one September home game, which again kind of makes it useless to have all those outdoor August practices if it’s never a home field advantage. But they do play in Miami to open, so I guess that helps. The Chicago game being at 1pm is finally a smart decision, not only because of the rain but again, why practice and kill yourself in that August heat if it’s of no advantage. Depending on the year and when rainy season ends that Giants 4p game could be a lightning dodgefest, but most years rainy season is over by the mid-September.

  91. BuccaneEric75 Says:

Rod, Ebola? I thought we liked MRSA around here?! LOL!

  92. Rod Munch Says:

Hey Dallas, what’s red and blue.

    Give up?

I don’t know about red, but when it comes to blue, that’s what your uncle made you do to him which is now why you’re so angry and acting out. We get it, but we don’t care.

    God bless.

  93. LoyalBuc96 Says:

    I’m seeing 11-5 with and over/under of 1

  94. Ndog Says:

Really Dallas you cry about our gm EVERYDAY!

  95. Capt.Tim Says:

    Man!
Ever since dallasbuc got layed off from the Dominoes, 3 years ago,
Hes been in a downward spiral of depression!
    !
    ,

  96. BuccaneEric75 Says:

Rod, every team gets a Thursday game. It’s s nod to no one.

  97. DallasBuc Says:

The ghay incest comeback after the Ebola crack fell flat? Feeling all better about yourself?
It’s just a football schedule boys!

  98. DB55 Says:

    Tough schedule.

Bills, Minn and Jets look like gimmies

  99. Rod Munch Says:

Dallas – oh lighten up cupcake, I was just joshing around. I’d rather you not get ebola as it takes too long to act, something like driving into a bridge embankment doing about 70mph, that’s more your speed. LOL!

Just kidding, I love you Dallas, like the way a man loves a man when they want to make babies together.

    God bless.

  100. LifeOfABucFan Says:

Good grief, how can a schedule thread turn so ugly among Buc fans!?

    ———–

On track though, I like the schedule…

  101. DallasBuc Says:

Ebola, ghay incest and unemployed? I can tell you’ve rallied the 9 year old in you to mount your ferocious attack against me over a football schedule! Whew, how will I recover?…from the insults, not the Ebola, ghay incest and unemployment from Dominoes!!!

  102. Rod Munch Says:

BuccaneEric75 – True, but that Pats game won’t be about the Bucs, it will be about the Pats, that’s more what I meant in that this will be a national TV game I’d assume, instead of say a Miami/Tampa TNF game would be NFL Network only. I mean I’m glad it’s not the Jets or something.

  103. rayjay1122 Says:

So much crying. Good grief. It is what it is, if we are a championship caliber team then it won’t matter who, where or when we play.

    Go Bucs!!! 🏈

  104. Rod Munch Says:

LifeOfABucFan – You can do both, there’s nothing exclusive about commenting about one thing that means you can’t talk about something else also. Also it’s not ugly amongst Bucs fans, it’s just one non-Bucs fan and I’ve tried to make up with him already but he seems to still be angry and not want to hook up again. Frowny face.

  105. ARGH_M8E Says:

I WANT REVENGE ON THE GIANTS FOR YEARS OF BEATDOWNS, BADDDDD!!!!

I see 12-4 as doable, 11-5 most likely, 10-6 ok we made the playoffs now do work! 9-7 a let down, 8-8 what happened and a step back.

    Prediction 11-5

  106. BuccaneEric75 Says:

Rod, I get ya. I thought you meant the only reason we were on Thursday was because of the Pats. If we could beat them on a short week, especially if we came in 4-0 or 3-1, witch is a possibility, that would go a long way to getting national respect. All eyes on us! #BreakBrady! You heard it here first!

  107. Rod Munch Says:

I was looking at the Pats schedule to see when their bye was to make sure it wasn’t ahead of the Bucs game – and it’s not – but wow go look at their schedule, it’s mostly a cakewalk. In fact the Pats played the 2nd easiest schedule in the league last year, the only team with more of a regular season cakewalk was the Titans.

The game I really want to win is the Jets game. A fiend of mine is a Jets fan and he is relentless. Every year, no matter what, he says the Jets are going to win the Super Bowl. The Jets could be 0-10 and he’d say they were going to the SB. I want that game to be 56-0. I’d rather it be 56 to -7, but that’s not possible! Lol!

Not an easy schedule but I like it!!!

  111. Rod Munch Says:

BuccaneEric75 – I don’t know if I’m that optimistic. That game to open the season in Miami, it could be a mess – while we get PM showers here they can earlier thundershowers and I could see that being a mudball type game played in a sauna. The Bucs can handle the heat as well as Miami, but Miami is more of a running team and if it is a muddy wet field, that should give the home team an advantage. But wayyyyy to early to know, but just guy feeling. Obviously everyone would be letdown if the Bucs lost to Chicago, in fact you’d have people saying it’s a lost season and wanting Dirk fired. The game at Minnesota, I don’t see how that goes the Bucs way, it’s just one of those places where the Bucs don’t play well – and assuming the Vikings defense is back to where it was in 2015, that to me is the toughest early season game we have I think. The Giants at home, again it’s a team that even when the Bucs are good they lose to. I think it’s really possible the Bucs go into that Pats game 1-3, lose, then go on the road to Arizona and the season looks lost – BUT I do like the schedule once they get past that stretch, at least better than before it. I have the Bucs at 9-7 overall and with three division games to end the season that could get the Bucs in as I don’t think there will be a runaway team in the NFC South this reason – it could be a 7-9 team, two 8-8 teams and one 9-7 team, that type of year.

  112. BuccaneEric75 Says:

Rod, you make some good points. I think we find a way to go 3-0, but the Giants have had our number for a long time. I remember maybe 2005 or 07 when we played them in the first round. I was rooting for us to play the Giants because I thought he’d throw us 4 picks. I think he threw 4TDs instead! F me!

  114. DavidBigBucFan99 Says:

If we beat NE & NY I will be happy cause we’ve never beat their qbs. We never beat Peyton so at least get them at the end of their careers!

  115. Garv Says:

I LOVE this schedule! LOVE IT! Starting (3 of 5 at home) and finishing (3 of 4 at home) is incredible. Playing division games 4 of the final 6 including 2 of the final 3 at home makes for a playoff like atmosphere from the bye week on. We get a Thursday Night Football game at home against the best team in football. A chance to measure up against the best early in the season (week 5). We get a Monday Night Football game at home against the Falcons on December 18.
Guys, this is a big time schedule for what is soon to be a big time football team.
And the DRAFT in a week? #FIRETHECANNONS baby!

  116. Ndog Says:

So far 1 and a half hours on NFL Network and the Bucs only mentioned in relation to other teams schedules. Agan zero respect!

  117. John Says:

Us Florida boys can’t handle that 12/3 game in Green Bay my god

  118. Gencoimports Says:

The Dolphins game … the last time the Bucs won in Miami was a 16-13 fight under very raininy, sloppy conditions in December, 2000. Shaun King was the QB. Gramatica kicked 2 of his 3 FGs in the fourth quarter as the Bucs came from behind.

I think they have played in Miami only once since (regular season).

When the game was over, the Fox switched to the 4 pm national game, with Summerall and Madden calling.

As Fox flashed the Bucs final score on the screen, Pat Summerall simply said with a little surprise in his voice “The Buccaneers!” and then Madden shouted “You can’t count them out Pat!” … I don’t ever remember what game Madden and Summerall were calling but I remember that exchange like it happened yesterday. It was a big win. The good ole days.

This is the start of s beautiful relationship, BUCS & Playoffs

  121. NFLNut Says:

    *** SINCERELY RESEARCHED PREDICTIONS ***

    at Miami = TOUGH WIN
    BEARS = EASY WIN
    at Minnesota = EASY WIN
GIANTS = LOSS (Giants will come off a loss at Philly)
PATRIOTS = LOSS (It’s the Pats, come on)
at Cardinals = TOSS UP (Cards coming off a loss at Philly)
    at Bills = WIN
    PANTHERS = TOUGH WIN
at Saints = WIN (Saints coming off easy win over Bears)
    JETS = EASY WIN
    Bye week
at Atlanta = TOSS UP (Falcons coming off loss at Seattle)
at Green Bay = LOSS (Pack coming off loss at Steelers)
    LIONS = TOUGH WIN
    ATLANTA = TOUGH WIN
    at Panthers = LOSS
    SAINTS = WIN

    4 TOUGH WINS
    3 EASY WINS
    4 SEEMINGLY OBVIOUS LOSSES
2 TOSS UPS … BOTH AGAINST GOOD TEAMS ON THE ROAD, SO MOST LIKELY 2 MORE LOSSES

*** If I had to bet $$$$ I’d say 10-6 will be the Bucs final record … and that should be good enough to get them, at the very worst, the #6 seed which will be an improvement over last year! ***

  122. Ndog Says:

It’s funny looking at other teams fan sites just to see what they are saying and ALL of them, even the Bears are counting us as a win for them. Man people are really sleeping on this team it’s like they just assume cause we ducked in the past we will never be good again. However they don’t understand Jameis, Kwon, Evans and Marpet and all they have brought to this team. Now you throw in Djax, Ayers, Baker and hopefully Dalvin, Engram, and Juju and we got something special.

    — Buccs play a #16 ranked schedule according to the Super Bowl odds…

  124. NashvilleBuc Says:

@NFLnut I like your calls. 9-7 or 10-6 is likely. Go Bucs! Can’t wait!

  125. NFLNut Says:

The KANSAS CITY CHIEFS have **** FIVE PRIME-TIME GAMES *** in just the first 8 weeks of the season???????????

The Chiefs are BORING to watch and the Bucs beat them in their own stadium last year …. the NFL schedule makers are goof balls!

  126. NFLNut Says:

I’ve got the Bucs going 10-6 and earning the #6 seed and going to New York for the first round of the playoffs … if that happens I would rather have thew lose that weej 4 game to the Giants in RayJay as it will give them more incentive to smack Eli and the boys around in the first round!

  127. NFLNut Says:

NashvilleBuc … thanks … and … I miss Nashville! Lived there back in 2004 and loved it … great city and great food at WildOats!

  128. Rod Munch Says:

Checkout ESPN’s predictions for wins – the Bucs are last in the South with a 9-7 record. In fact the worst teams, according to them, in the NFC is San Fran and Chicago at 6-10. I’m not sure how that is even possible, how every team has a .500 or better record except two.

Meanwhile in the AFC they have the Jets, Jags, Bills and Browns as the only teams with losing records.

ESPN should spend more time on things like math and less time on writing articles about how sports writers need to push political agendas.

  129. Fred E. Buc Says:

Some folks are looking at that is all wrong. The Patriots on a Thursday night can be a statement game. We know the Bucs have played lousy on Thursday night as a short week, and we know the Patriots are the SB Champs with Tom Brady and Bill Bellicheat. But hold everything. This isn’t time to dread…but time to see if they step up. Next, if they don’t, if they ARE going to play lousy on Thurs night best to do it against a team everyone expects to win, and in which odds are the Bucs wouild lose anyway. That is, Thurs Night/Patriots could be TWO separate games, and now it’s only ONE. And if the Bucs can win that…new day!

  130. Fred E. Buc Says:

As a Bucs fan for all 41 years, I have learned not to predict wins and losses. Sure, we all kind of do it. This is not the year to chalk any game up as a win or loss. The Bucs showed last year they can play with anybody.

I will go into every game expecting a win, knowing the BUCS COULD win and knowing what they need to do to edge their opponents. When the final whistle blows, I am sure I will be disappointed at times…but I will not wake up on any gameday and say to myself, “Today I think the Bucs will lose.”

  131. Joeypoppems Says:

Patriots on a short week is gonna be tough. Helluva primetime game tho.

  132. tdtb2015 Says:

We are going to carry a big stick in 2017……

…..Licht will finish acquiring the perfect players in the draft for our trip to Minnesota on February!

14-2 and we will sweep the division. These are the NEW BUCS!!!!!

I want Brady and company at the Super Bowl.

BellyCheat will try to acquire all the footage from Hard Knocks to no avail. We will win and it will be the beginning of Brady thinking about retirement.

Brady will realize there is a new DYNASTY being born that cheating will not give you an advantage to beat the Bucs. Needless to say Brady and company will feel DEFLATED!!!!!!

    6 Days……6 More Days!!!

    In Licht We Trust!!!

    Go Bucs!!!

  133. FuNkYxMuNkEy Says:

We just got a prove it schedule from the nfl. Playing 2 games in basically 4 days against 2 really good teams sucks but we have a chance.

The draft is always important but screw drafting players who will be projects. We need guys ready to start day one now more than ever

  134. Han Solo Says:

If the Bucs lost ONLY to the teams that had a worse record than them last year they’d have 10 wins (technically Lions had same record but we had more PF).

I am OK with 10, but would love 11 wins.

  135. Brandon Says:

I think 11 wins should be a realistic goal. Not saying we can’t do better, but barring catastrophic injuries, we shouldn’t do much worse.

  136. Mike Johnson Says:

All nonsense. 31 other teams have tough schedules also. Its called the NFL. You either win or you Don’t. Its really just that simple. WIN some games and get to the playoffs Bucs!

  137. NFLNut Says:

I think it’s pretty safe to say the Browns, 49’ers, Rams and Jets will all have no more than 3-4 wins …
