Indigestion For America Haters

This really may make Lena Dunham move abroad.

This really may make Lena Dunham move abroad.

You people know who you are, you haters of America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston.

Shame on you!

For the few deaf, dumb and blind that don’t believe Jameis is a future star in the NFL, if not already a star, consider the following dug up by Joe Kania of Buccaneers.com: Jameis on the cusp of a record no NFL quarterback has reached.

At the pace he’s on, Winston will finish his first two years having thrown for 8,282 yards, which would be the most ever by a quarterback in their first two seasons. Shortly behind would be Andrew Luck (8,196), Cam Newton (7,920) and Peyton Manning (7,874). Winston could find himself in a similar situation in terms of touchdowns as well. He’s on pace for 53, which would be tied for the second-most touchdowns from any quarterback in their first two seasons.

And imagine this is coming from a signal-caller that those inflicted with irritable bowel syndrome claim is inaccurate. How can that be? That doesn’t add up for Joe.

The only folks Joe can think of that are still not yet enlightened about Jameis are the diehard, stalwart members of the Mike Glennon Mob or flat out perpetually angry folks who need to crawl back under their rocks.

  2. OneBuc55 Says:

    I love America! Go Bucs!

  3. gilhealy Says:

Weed ’em out, Joe. The only leg they have to stand on in personal dislike. There’s nothing football related to knock the kid about. But we’ll still read the same drivel from the same morons regardless.

    God blessed America!

  5. Defense Rules Says:

Doubt seriously that any of those stats count to Jameis … all he cares about is winning. And that’s what make him a franchise QB in my opinion, not whether he threw for 8,282 yds in 2 seasons.

On a more important note, Sunday’s game against the Saints may well prove to be Jameis’ biggest test of the season. Bucs could be without THREE starters (Humphries, Dotson, Conte) and possibly THREE MORE (McCoy, Stocker & Verner). And that’s without mentioning Jude (suspended) and Gholston (has to be hurting). For a team that already has 10 players on IR and has lost several others (like Sweezy & Murphy), that’s huge. Saints are also banged up right now, but Drew Brees always scares me (#1 in yardage & #2 in points scored this year). Yup, this will be Jameis’ and the Bucs’ biggest test yet.

Man those are Madden numbers – folk better should relish these moments you won’t find another leader like this.

  7. 1Gr8Buc Says:

Wish your boy Duemig would back under a rock. Jameis is the real deal people need to stop doubting and start supporting!

  8. Dreambig Says:

Haters don’t hate while the team is winning. Makes them look bad. Never fear though because they will be out in droves saying I told you so the next time the team loses two or three in a row.

  9. Warthog Says:

Love me some Winston. Just wish my college-age daughter didn’t give me that disappointed look when I wear my No.3 authentic ๐Ÿ™

  10. gilhealy Says:

Why does she do that, Warthog?

  11. orlbucfan Says:

America hasn’t been exceptional in over 35 years; Fameis Jameis has been exceptional. WE fans are very grateful to have him and DK on our team. GO MIGHTY BUCS!!

  12. Nole on Sat.-Bucc on Sun. Says:

Two or three in a row Dreambig, blasphemy. Maybe when he’s 42. We’ve entered that zone, when skillset meshes with the belief that we are really really good. We will be punking team’s starting 2017.

  13. pick6 Says:

and he has some pass-friendly defenses down the stretch to help him finish the season on a strong statistical note.

Throw out all of those great numbers. The biggest thing I have seen from Winston are the intangibles. His teammates to a man marvel at him. He is lifted up as the leader in ability and work ethic on this team.

    Let’s talk character

The most controversial thing he has done as a pro was to call out his team mates after the end of the season’s collapse. (that collapse may have been the biggest boon for this years success, would make a good story Joe. One could speculate that just one win would have bought Lovie Smith another year. The tumble affect is just staggering. No Mike Smith, maybe Dirk is in Miami. VHIII, Noah Spence? do they fit in Lovie’s style? What about Grimes or Ayers? Would the starting corners be Jenkins and Sterling Moore? Todd Monken? Is Mike Evans still dropping passes?)

Anyone, want to place a wager, at any cost that Winston will be suspended due to a dress code violation? What about a DUI? (doubt it) Domestic abuse? Drugs? What about just being a butthead to a fan asking for an autograph during dinner? Anyone that doesn’t think Winston is a home run, is crazy or blinded by something that is sinister in nature.

  18. $acbuc$ Says:

I admit at first I was worried about Famous and his off the field issues but he is a model citizen. I wanted him for many reason but here’s a few. He played in that Florida Heat for years he was athletic and a natural born leader. Just to name a few. Plus I hated the Bucs getting blazed by running quarterbacks I said we need one too. After Aaron Brooks/Saints, Rodney Peete/Panthers, Michael Vick/Falcons it about dam time. In the words of Arsenal Hall on Coming to America! That Boy Good!

Anyone remember last year the Periscope video Donovan Smith had of he, Jameis and Ali Marpet going to an NBA game in Orlando? Jameis rented out a car service.

    Joe: My point exactly.

  21. Pit Says:

JW will light it up against the Saints and pulverize those records.

  22. America's Commenter Says:

Let’s see how things play out. Winston was “on pace” to break Vinny Testaverde’s single season turnover record through the first 4 games of the season, and to his credit, he’s turned that around in a big way. Being on pace to accomplish extraordinary feats is not the same as actually achieving them.
