Entering the spotlight

Party time!

Yes, it’s official, the Bucs-Dallas game at Jerry’s World on Sunday, Dec. 18, has been moved to 8:30 p.m. EST for the NBC Sunday Night Football telecast.

Very cool! What great respect for the Bucs and what that game against the juggernaut Cowboys could mean. How sweet is this — 22-year-old Jameis vs. 23-year-old Dak Prescott!

You better believe Joe will figure out a way to schedule a savage watch party.

Joe’s pretty sure the Bucs haven’t been on Sunday Night Football since Mike Alstott Night, Seahawks at Bucs, in October 2008.

Wow. Just one month ago after that Thursday night debacle…I thought the Bucs were a bottom 5 team ( blame it on battered spouse syndrome ). Now…the Bucs ( Jamies in particular ) are darlings of the NFL. It’s shocking/amazing….and a whole lot of fun!

  22. R.O. Says:

Mixxx and 1987.. only stating what they need to do. If you can’t handle knowing the truth then close your eyes and quit whining like a couple of lil’ BITCHE$… Gave up 125 yds on the ground today. We will have to tighten up the tackling and fits against the D Oline..

I currently live in San Antonio and bought tickets to the game the morning of the game against the Raiders. I was feeling pretty sick with how much I paid for the tickets by the end of the Thursday night game against the Falcons. Now I can’t wait to shove it down my coworkers throats when we crush Dallas!!!

  25. Kingcrablegs Says:

Not that it matters but in national rankings the Bucs entered last weekend ranked in the high teens… despite the fact they have beaten three of the top eight teams in the league and went to overtime with a fourth. They snapped a 10 game KC home win streak that lasted over one year, they crushed the Seahawks, and now they just went coast to coast and beat a tough San Diego team. This team is 6-2 in its last 8 games. Over a full season, that’s 12-4.

Not that I really care, I just find it humorous at how little respect this team gets nationally. The primetime game is great, even though it’s unclear how much Dallas will be playing for at that point. With the number of squeakers the Cowboys have won against much lesser teams than the Bucs (as of late), I wouldn’t be surprised that with a little less motivation from the Cowboys and a seriously hyped Bucs squad, that this team leaves Dallas as the winner. I can definitely envision this team going 3-1 or better down the stretch. Truthfully, they need to do better, the Falcons remaining schedule is a cakewalk.

tickets won’t be cheap but i anticipate a pretty healthy showing for the visiting team on national TV at Jerry World. I’ve got my ticket and have talked to many bucs fans with plans to go, and that was before last night’s win and the primetime flex
