Jameis Entering GMC Hate Territory

Flirting with the enemy.
Jameis, be careful. You just may have fans try to hound you out of town for being nice.
This week, Bucs stud defensive tackle Gerald McCoy rattled fans’ cages when he spoke about how much he likes Dixie Chicks quarterback Matty Ice. He then lashed out his critics who don’t like it when GMC speaks nice about a player who doesn’t wear a Bucs jersey. GMC then bragged how he would shake Matty Ice’s hand before the game.
Well, those same fans, Joe is guessing, will smash empty beer cans on their foreheads after reading the following.
Prior to tonight’s game during the captains’ meeting at midfield for the coin flip, America’s Quarterback was seen bear-hugging Falcons captains and slapping them on the back like long lost pals.
So Joe is wondering, if GMC is reviled by the rabble for being a nice guy before and after the game, what say you, GMC haters, of Jameis getting all chummy with the enemy mere moments before kickoff?

There’s something not right with Jameis’ contacts. He never squints with glasses but if you have high astigmatism, contacts is not for you. I know because I am the same way.
His sight might be a bit compromised, long distance wise. At night, I can never keep my contacts on..or after long wearing period.
Yep, I am blind as a bat.my astigmatism is so bad, that no corrective surgery is available..yet..

I love GMC, but does anyone remember me suggesting we should trade him for 2 firsts and a second last year?
My reasoning was this: pull a Kimmy Johnson. Trade our most valuable player outside of Winston & Evans and use the acquired picks to fix the team.
Imagine if we had done that.

GMC needs to produce more sure. A game changing play every 5 weeks won’t cut it.
But Jameis just isn’t at the talent level needed to field and lead a competitive team and I imagine he won’t be really ready for another 2 years or so.
The Bucs made the mistake of assuming Winston had the talent around him necessary and that he could carry them when needed.
But the Bucs needs much more talent in various positions, and he isn’t close to ready to carry anyone.

Man this is becoming crazy. I use to come here because JoeBuc was one of the more positive people in regards to Jameis. He clearly did his best tonight. Instead of talking about Conte and the entire garbage defense, you attack our qb. My only hope is that jameis sees the writers who have now put a target on his back and treat them accordingly. To answer your question Joe:
The difference is that GMC walks that fine line of the guy we see wearing a short sleeved orange Bernie Mac suit + top hat & a fierce competitor; more often on the orange suit side.
We know that Jaboo is a fierce competitor, it’s arguable his best trait. Jaboo walks the line of that fierce competitor & errant gun slinger… but it’s never his intensity during a game…

Fans don’t like GMC or Winston, and it’s not because they’re nice, it’s because they’re not very good football players and most of all because they accept losing.

SB with Jameis if you place blame on Jameis for this loss, you are in the wrong. Yes, Jameis was horrendous in the 2nd half last week against the Raiders. This week, he played a really good game. Don’t look at the final score or the stat sheet that shows he was 23-37 for 261 and 3 TD’s. Yes, he had 14 incompletions, but what counts as an incompletion? Batted down pass? Yes. How about the 2 drops by Evans and the 1 by Brate? Yes. How about the couple of throw aways? Yep… We get it, you hate Jameis… Tough titty though, he played a good game with very little to work with.
Think about some of the situations in this game. The offense had penalties on drives 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 and 8. They gave up 2 sacks on the 6th drive, and another on a 3rd down on the 8th drive. Not to mention, the running game was non-existent, with Barber leading the way at a whopping 31 yards.
How many 3 and outs did the defense have all night? NONE!
How many points did the defense give up? 43!
In the last 3 games Winston has thrown 7 TD’s and only 1 INT. He is coming along just fine. Until this team has a better line and more weapons for him to work with, they aren’t going to win many games.
