Bears’ Pro Bowl Guards To Team Up

November 11th, 2016

Tough duty

There’s celebration in Chicago, as former Bucs guard/center Ted Larsen will not make his second start of the season for the Bears on Sunday.

That’s because Bears Pro Bowl guards Kyle Long and Josh Sitton are returning to the starting lineup.

It’s rough timing for a Bucs defensive line that’s struggling to breathe on quarterbacks and get defensive tackle Clinton McDonald on the field.

Sitton was a big-money free agent last offseason, let loose by Ted Thompson and the Packers. He’s missed the last two games with an ankle injury. Long, battling a shoulder issue, missed his first game of the season in the Bears’ last game, a Halloween win against the Vikings. He’s a been a three-time Pro Bowler since the Bears made him the No. 20 overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.

Without both of those studs, Chicago managed to put 20 points up against the stingy Vikings.

The Bucs simply can’t allow Jay Cutler to get comfortable while the Bears run the ball. That’s what happened in the Bucs’ loss to the Bears last December in Tampa.

She will make one meaningless play in the first half then check out or disappear the rest of the game. Stand up to cancer eradicate 93

  2. LakeLandBuc Says:

The Bears are going all out to win this game. The Bucs should do the same, both teams can’t afford to lose this game.

Ah! Just look at that adorable infectious smile.
    Infecting the whole team.
    Bye bye Softie.

  4. FortMyersDave Says:

Bears getting helathy is just another reason the bucs will lose this one as they simply lack the heart and desire to play a good game at home as they are simply slack losers with inept coaching and management all the way up the the Glazer boys who now own this bad franchise! People are betting their houses on a 2-6 bear team, why you ask, well we know Cutler is going to have a good game as he is playing #93 and the rest of the softies! This Buc team is an embarrasment! 3-5 and likely going to be be 4-12. Want to make money, bet against tampa at home until they finally break the jinx!

Tmaxcon do you have any idea how disrespectful that is to anyone who has cancer or is a survivor or family member of a survivor? the English language is vast I’m sure you can find a better way to express your disdain of Mccoy.

I’ve got one question for the 93 apologists. What is one constant with defense for last 6 years that has demonstrated the following characteristics Low Effort, mentally weak, fragile, unprepared, unmotivated and quits. The previous characteristics DO NOT require talent they require effort and heart. again the one constant is 93 … The defense led by mccoy has quit on multiple coaches including a soft ass supposed players coach.. Again this team will never win consistently with leadership on defense like that. Again this has nothing to do with talent and wins but everything to do with heart and effort. McCoy lead defenses are soft and quit.

Take your oversensitve candy ass to a safe space.. The term locker room cancer is what applies here and you know damn well the point I was making and the context it was used in. Maybe Hillary will loan you a crying towel…. You PC pukes are laughable.

  9. Willy D Buc Says:

tmaxcon – I’d bet my house that you’re a sociopath. It’s ok; Gerald forgives you.

  10. Dusthty Rhothdes Says:

tmaxcon….. the dang snowflakes have taken over and GMC has been a snowflake since his 2nd year here…. and its time to crank up the heat and make the bucs great again by getting rid of all the locker room snowflakes

  11. Architek Says:

Did I miss something? Why are you all piling on Tmax for not caring for McCoy??

You do realize McCoy hasn’t helped his own cause and while he’s a stats stuffer and makes some plays there are reasons people don’t care for him. They should be able to critique or criticize without attacking.

I said it earlier this week and I will repeat; I would prefer his chapter end here for his sake and the fans. He’s a good player no doubt but people want greatness because of the standards set by a once in a generational player.

For me – I’m Meh on McCoy, I could take him or leave him but I don’t knock anyone who dislikes him. If there’s any blame to go around it’s with the organization for not continuing to get more DL assets to place with him. They could’ve drafted multiple impact DTs and DEs.
