Pumped Jameis

October 11th, 2016
Winning.

Winning.

America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston, has a message for Bucs fans.

Despite just finishing a physical, close game on the road with the Stinking Panthers, Jameis was pumped. Yeah, really.

The Instagram camera (phone?) of BSPN caught Jameis has he was walking off the field last night following his on-field postgame wrapup with Steve Levy, Randy Moss, Trent Dilfer and Matt Hasselbeck.

Jameis looked like he wanted to play another game and had some words for Bucs fans he wanted them to heed.

@jaboowins3 got the W on MNF.

  3. BuccaneEric75 Says:

Realist, I know. I just thought it was funny.

  4. Mojiska Says:

Our first one. In referring to Monday night football.

  5. bo Says:

Excited… great.. probably the ugliest MNF game in history. Excited? Panthers gave the game away with 4 turnovers and the Bucs squeezed it out.. NEWS FLASH.. This team is horrible.

  6. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

I’m hoping he means the first win of a long winning streak!

Lol he sounds like a fan off the street

  9. The Buc Realist Says:

    @BuccaneEric75

No, what is funny is When Head Coach Koetter gave out the game ball to JR32 and everyone was yelling speech, speech, speech, Then in the back ground at the 44 to 45 second mark someone in the back ground yells “Stand Up”!!!!

A win against the stinking Panthers on the road, on MNF, is a thing of beauty.

    Great job Jaboo.

While these idiots try and figure out how to raise enough money for yet another happy meal, best of luck on getting ready for the Niners.

  11. Rojas Says:

Any news on Jeremy Butler? If he made it back on the PS.

  12. mike10 Says:

I actually thought the opposite last night… during the game and even after the FG he looked tired, and almost lost.

Just my opinion. And this video looks team sponsored.

  13. Buccaneers Says:

For all the suffering of this team has given its fans over the first quarter of the season they made up for it by beating the Panthers. Carolina has spanked us on a biannual basis for what feels like a decade now. I thought we had plenty of chances to destroy that team in every quarter. But I don’t care a win is a win and against the Panthers is so much better.

  14. Buccaneers Says:

Vernon Harhraeves was my MVP last night. He did a great job covering the sideline and Kelvin Benjamin. There is also no doubt in my mind that Brent Grimes new that pass was coming his way because he knew there was no way they were going to throw at Vernon.

  15. BuccaneEric75 Says:

    Realist. That WAS pretty funny!

  16. thegregwitul Says:

@Rojas, the Jets claimed Butler from waivers today.

  17. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Is it just me or has the trepidation and anxiety about Jameis’ character become a thing of the past….I mean distant past.
Barring some sort of strange “Freemanlike” meltdown….I think we’ve found, at the very least, a fantastic representative and face of our team. Everyone in the media seems to love just being around him. Hopefully he will light up the field as well.

  18. Doctor Stroud Says:

@Dirk Koetter TD: you are so refreshing. Your honesty is a breath of fresh air. It’s like the perfect cool wind is blowing and all the windows are open.

  19. MadMax Says:

You need to step up a little more though JW#3…..get it together buddy, work on that accuracy. This was a garbage Panthers team and our D with 3 TO’s and special teams with 1, handed you the opportunity to win big, but you BARELY SQUEAKED BY! UNACCEPTABLE!

    Get your sh!t together man!

  20. Stpetebucsfan Says:

    @TBBF

No it’s not just you. I had questions during the debate leading up to the draft.

#3 has not simply answered those questions…he’s placed tons of additonal positives on top of the answers.

For the 1000th time…yeah you were right all along 87!

  21. BigStinky Says:

Figures he was pumped up, what an ugly game. We almost lost being +4 in takeaways. How could the game be that close? Even with Aguayo’s misses.

  22. Defense Rules Says:

@BigStinky … “How could the game be that close?” Kept wondering the same thing myself, but then remembered … our offense has only scored 1 TD against the Cardinals, the Broncos & the Panthers. Ever since Martin & Stocker went out, it’s not clicking. Lots of other issues, but hopefully getting them back after the Bye, plus having Rodgers running strong will give us a solid run game AND better short pass game options. Doesn’t look like our deep threat is going anywhere this season.

Something else to keep in mind — he’s 22 years old. Had he used up all of his eligibility he would be in his Senior year right now at Florida State

  24. Tampa Tony Says:

Bucs honestly can’t expect to play like that and win consistently

Jameis time to show us why you were drafted #1

  25. Buc1987 Says:

Jameis has already shown me why he was drafted #1.

Sorry Jamies… if some of us are still a little slow.

    Go Bucs!

  26. Ed Says:

Winston has a lot of problems hitting moving targets. He had Humphries on a nice crossing route and threw it high and out of his reach. Wasnt a difficult throw to complete. His overthrow on an Evans deep route was too far and Mike would have made a big play. He missed Jackson on a sideline throw for a first down. Good throws to Brate and then to Evans on his one touchdown. Just get those percentages up and Bucs will be ok

  27. cmurda Says:

@Buccaneers. I agree. VH3 was better when he was pressing. Mike Smith needs to open the defense and let he and Grimes play 1 o 1 so we can make room for some blitzes. We have been successful when blitzing but rarely do it. I can’t say I have too much faith in the D Line getting pressure even when fully healthy.

  28. cmurda Says:

Just a friendly reminder to all. We won last night. I just want to make that clear because you would swear the Panthers pulled an Atlanta Falcons on us on Prmetime.

  29. Louis Friend Says:

One of the sickest games I’ve ever watched. Somebody had to win it so it might as well be the Bucs. Our QB is playing like Josh Freeman right now. A few good plays mixed in with a lot of head scratching. Regardless of his age, he’s not playing like a good NFL QB. He’s playing like a guy who can’t hit the broad side of a barn on a lot of his passes. And on others he’s off just enough to make you wonder if he’s just another QB like Flacco who has all the gifts but will only display them once in a while.

  30. James Walker Says:

Playing like Josh Freeman? You mean the QB who went 10-6 in his second year?

  31. Louis Friend Says:

He showed a lot of promise early on, just like Winston. He was so freaking inaccurate sometimes, and threw lasers on others. Just like Winston. 2010 was the highlight of his career, I just wish he could’ve kept it going. Winston’s inconsistent play is reminding me of Freeman. He’s not a rookie, and he’s not showing progress so I’m concerned.

  32. LakelandBuc Says:

Jameis need to shut up and work on his downfield throws, he’s terrible throwing the ball 20 yards or more. 27% accuracy rate since he came into the league. I guess he don’t realize that he struggled against the worst pass defense in the NFL. Matt Ryan and Julio Jones lit them up for 500 and 300, while Jameis was overthrowing wide open WR’s all night long.

  33. Buc1987 Says:

LakelandBuc…2 QUESTIONS…. 1.How long has Matt Ryan and Julio Jones been playing in the NFL vs Jameis Winston playing in the NFL? Answer that question and you look like an ass for what you just said.

    2. Did Jameis Winston and the Bucs already beat Atlanta AT Atlanta in 2016? Answer that question and you look like an ass for what you just said.

Conclusion : you look like an ass ( yes I typed ass not arse this is America).

  34. Buc1987 Says:

YOU are one of my new targets. Enjoy.

  35. unbelievable Says:

87 is fired up. I like it.

  36. The bucfan 88 Says:

@buccaners i agree if u watch the replay of that pick u can see Brent grimes ran greg’s route Anderson didn’t see him cause grimes is short and played swiper that’s Brent new name swiper

  37. Dan The Bucs Fan Says:

We beat the Panthers at Carolina after them killing us for several years. Be happy. I am.

  38. WJ Says:

Jameis, please get some contact lenses…seriously. This is no joke. I see you squinting over on the sideline. And, this I believe, is why the short passes are being missed…..the crossing patterns, etc.

Team physicians, check Winston’s eyesight and you’ll see part of the problem with interceptions and missed throws.

Additionally, Mike Evans is not the only receiver. Vincent Jackson has been open a lot. Cameron Brake is playing well, etc. PLEASE spread the ball.
