Gerald McCoy In Full Body Preservation Mode

Gerald McCoy is moving past this kick-in-the-nuts Bucs loss in record time.
The Bucs defense was on the field for a whopping 83 plays this afternoon and go ahead and tack on a lot more, considering the Raiders were whistled for stunning 23 penalties. Twenty-three!
McCoy (1 tackle today) was visibly wiped out in the morgue-like Bucs postgame locker room.
There will be no nap time for McCoy. He was headed right from the stadium to One Buc Palace.
“Usually I would go home; I’m going straight to the facility and start recovering, get in the Cryo [deep freeze] tanks, do some treatment. I’ll probably get a massage tomorrow morning,” McCoy said.
The Bucs play again in four days against Atlanta, and it was absolutely the wrong time to have the defense play five quarters.
“As hungry as I am right now, I have to watch what I eat because it’s such a quick turnaround,” McCoy said, emphasizing the challenge.
Joe would feel badly for the worn out Bucs’ defense, but it’s their own fault. They allowed 626 yards today. That’s a beating of epic proportions.

I was at the game.. our defense was horrible today. The Raiders gave us the game over and over and we didn’t want it. The def holding call on 4th down was the game though.

Got paid too much money for nothing. Aunt Geraldine is a half assed player at best. Didn’t make a difference at all. This is the game he needed to step up. Because he’s a “C” right. He needs to show that $$hit. But like always when it matters most he disappears. Houdini Geraldini.

Need to trade him AND Winston for some picks and players….we need DB’s and WR’s, and pass rush. Sign Gholston, he’s as good as GMC or better (at least he plays).

Sure is a slap in the face to Tampa fans watching Adrian Claybourne Chase and sack Aaron Rogers now. Michael Bennett has been a great pass rusher since leaving the Bucs. Says something how these players turn into monsters after leaving here.

stop it McCoy is a beast…. He was taking on 7 to 8 blockers every play… we are so lucky to have him. he hosts movie night god damint…. movie nigh makes up for all the disappearing acts…. GMC the softest most overrated buc in history.

40 minutes TOP by the raiders 18 TOP for the Bucs… it was 10-0 halftime and the bucs d kept the raiders in check… they got tired in the 2nd half and the offense did absolutely zero!!! bunch of 3 and outs! or one 1st down then out

I agree the defense didn’t play well, but hell, they are only 50 % of the team !!!
Can we discuss about the offense or are they only responsible for the win ?
The Raiders started in Overtime, completly failed, due to penalty and our offense, wasn’t even able to reach a field goal position !
I know that with our dreadful kicker it wasn’t a chance of success but still ! On this game, our offense has been as terrible as the defense !
