August 11th, 2016

If you haven’t been to JoeBucsFan.com in a while, you might not realize Joe hired esteemed scribe and Pro Football Hall of Fame voter Ira Kaufman during free agency this spring.

What a score! Just like the Patriots, Joe knows when to scoop up Darrelle Revis a Hall of Famer in his prime off the street.

In today’s podcast, eye-RAH! dives deep into his view of tonight’s preseason opener in Philadelphia. Enjoy via download or by clicking the arrow below.

Good discussion Ira and Joe. Pre-season doesn’t reliably tell us how good this team will be in 2016 – but we will get some hints.

How do the new players we all hope will shine look? Its most fans 1st look at Ayers, Grimes, Daryl Smith, Aguayo, Hargreaves, Noah Spence, Ryan Smith, etc.

Do 1st team units look sharp? How do 2nd and 3rd team players look compared to their Eagles counterparts?

Can someone flash on kickoff and/or punt returns?

Will Kenny Bell catch his 1st pass in the NFL outside of practice?

Thank God its time for football games again – even if it is just mostly unsatisfying pre-season games for the next 4 weeks – its way better than no football at all. And its going to be extra fun to watch this 2016 team develop because the feeling of hope and promise is so strong with this year’s players and the new coaching regime.
